This master’s thesis predicts the development and assesses the potential of cryptocurrencies in the areas of investment, trade and technology based on their technical, economic and legal analysis. Although the thesis deals with cryptocurrencies in general, the key focus is placed on their most prominent representative (Bitcoin) in trying to predict the effects on the future of financial markets from a wide, multidisciplinary perspective.
Potential of cryptocurrencies in international trade

The aim of this bachelor's thesis is to assess the current development of cryptocurrencies, present information about their current state of development, introduce to four largest projects (Bitcoin, Ethereum, litecoin, Ripple) and to evaluate functioning of cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology in the context of start-ups and financial institutions. As a part of this work there is also provided an overview of legislation over cryptocurrencies globally, in the context of the European Union and the Czech Republic. Then there are also presented the actual use of technology, cutting-edge start-ups and their products. Finally the thesis evaluates the intersection of startups into different sectors and presents the views of experts working in various fields of economy.
The use of Bitcoin and other virtual currencies

This Bachelor thesis aims to bring the insight into the world of virtual currencies, and mainly to the world of Bitcoin which remains completely undiscovered by many people, although this could be very crucial for us in the near future. The theoretical part focuses on some general information. The effort is also to outline the principle of functioning of individual components the whole virtual currencies´ network consists of. Also, there are presented advantages and disadvantages associated with the use of these currencies. In the practical part, we mainly try to introduce the ways and options how the virtual currencies can be used in practice, offer other ways of utilization and then summarize their overall effect on the present and future global economic market.
Forensic Analysis of Bitcoin Network

This thesis is focused on Bitcoin forensic analysis. Main goal of this thesis was to design and implement system tool for forensic analysis. Theoretical part of this thesis is dedicated to Bitcoin network. Requirements and existing tools are described in following chapters. Rest of the thesis is concerned about implementation of such a tool itself. Implemented system is presented as web application, which allows user to search through blockchain, vizualize financials, display profile pages of Bitcoin users and their Bitcoin wallets.

The subject of my bachelor's thesis is the analysis of Bitcoin virtual currency. Teoretical part of my thesis is about how bitcoin essentialy works, how it is technicaly implemented, safety issues, legal point of view. Applied part is dedicated to teoretical explanation of technical, fundamental and pychological analysis. In applied part I also analyse exchange prices of bitcoin from its creation until present day by using technical, fundamental and pychological analysis. Last part of my bachelor's thesis is making a prediction model based on fundamental and technical analysis.

BitCoin Wallet for Windows Phone Platform

Master's thesis deals with description of a new trading system known as BitCoin. Bitcoin is a unique type of virtual cash in the current world without the influence of large corporations. The system is protected through the use of cryptographic methods that are discussed in detail.  The work explains the principles of integrity of transactions exchange transactions and the acquisition of new money through so-called miners. Individual miners services are mediated through software clients including a description of mining. The paper focuses on protocols for communication. It analyzes the different types of software purses for platforms Windows, Linux and Android. Examining reengineering of purses for Android. This document in no small part discusses the implementation own wallets for the Windows Phone platform 8th.
Bitcoin Mining Acceleration

This master's thesis deals with virtual currency called Bitcoin. It describes the functioning of the currency of technical perspective especially the implementation of the transaction, the way of its validation and ensuring the integrity by using cryptographic functions. Furthermore, it describes the principle of the Bitcoin creation, particularly mining method called pooled mining. The thesis also describes the communication protocols and design of architecture to acceleration of the bitcoin mining. Finally, there are described tests, assessment and proposals for the continuation of work.
Bitcoins - the use of virtual currency in today's economy

The main goal of this diploma thesis is to explore the area of virtual currency Bitcoin and assess the use of this currency in today's economy. Thesis first mentions the cryptocurrency market, the technology and other altcoins. It further analyzes the cryptocurrency Bitcoin in detail, its foundation, history and mining. The text also explores the volatility of this currency in the recent years, the question of regulation by states and technological threats to the network. In the final chapter diploma thesis examines the possibilities for individuals to obtain this currency and the use of Bitcoin by enterprises.
