Rally team base
Mikeš, Daniel ; Horáček, Martin (referee) ; Pešek, Ondřej (advisor)
The object of the diploma thesis is the design and the assessment of the steel structure for rally team base in Napajedla, which contains the space for the administration and the space for the service hall. The overall ground plan proportions of the structure are 30 x 26 metres. The structure for administration is the four-storey building. The ground plan proportions of this structure are 30 x 12 metres and the height is 14.5 metres. The ground floor grid of the main load-bearing structure is 6 x 6 metres. The height of the one floor of the structure is 3.5 metres. The structure of ceilings and roof is designed like composite steel and concrete structure. All joints of the steel structure for administration are designed like bolted joints. The spatial rigidity of the structure is ensured by vertical wall truss bracings and by the rigidity of composite steel and concrete structure of ceillings and roof. To the structure for the administration is connected structure for the service hall. The ground plan proportions of this structure are 30 x 14 metres and the height is 10.5 metres. The main structure of the structure for service hall is frame with the rigid joint in the corner of the frame. The axial distance of the main structures is 6 metres. All joints including the rigid joint in the corner of the frame of the steel structure for service hall are designed like bolted joints. The spatial rigidity of the structure is ensured by vertical wall truss bracings and horizontal roof truss bracings. The whole structure is designed of steel S355.
Technological project of an indoor tennis hall construction in Uherský Brod location
Něnička, Roman ; Venkrbec, Václav (referee) ; Diaz, Yvetta (advisor)
The thesis is focused on the technological project of an indoor tennis hall construction in Uherský Brod. It is completely embracing the construction of the hall in terms of a carcass with its roofing. It reveals a technical report that describes the construction with reference to the used construction materials, positioning in the site and looking into its impact of the building on the environment. The following aim of the thesis is also a design of a machinery needed to implement the object. It also shows an assessment of machines and mechanization transport routes in terms of road traffic, a time and financial plan of construction, a draft and design of the equipment construction site, an analysis of economic costs of the construction, a material resources plan for the construction, a technological regulation of a flat roof and a quality test scheme along the construction.
Business Centre
Suchomel, Tomáš ; Štrba, Michal (referee) ; Pilgr, Milan (advisor)
The aim of this Master’s thesis is to design a load-bearing steel structure for a multi-storey building. The building is of 35 x 35 m floor plan. The roof is at height of 48,5 m which is the 13th above-ground floor of the building. In the bottom half of the building, the floor plan area is continuously decreasing from the ground up while in the top half of the building, the floor plan area is increasing from the middle to the top part of the building. The floor plan area of the ground floor and the top-most floor are of the same size. Two alternative plans were designed. They are of the same shape of the structure while differentiating in the solution for the spatial rigidity of the structure. The ceiling design is designed as a joist system. The structure was assessed by ULS and by SLS in accordance with valid eurocodes. The structure is glass-sheathed.
Multifunctional multi-storey building
Kántor, Albert ; Pešek, Ondřej (referee) ; Horáček, Martin (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is a design of a multifunctional multi-storey building consisting of six floors which is located in Česká Třebová. The floor dimensions of structure are 56,5 x 26,5 m and its height is 22,150 m. The building is covered with green roof. The mail load bearing structure consists of primary beams, secondary beams, columns and vertical bracing. The floor structure is designed as a composite steel and concrete structure. The spatial rigidity of the structure is secured with vertical bracing and rigid concrete roof slab. Main used materials are structural steel S235, S355 and concrete of grade C25/30.
Lookout tower
Jedzoková, Patricie ; Pešek, Ondřej (referee) ; Balázs, Ivan (advisor)
The object of the diploma thesis is design and assessment of a steel lookout tower situated in Beskydy mountains. Two different variants were designed. The first variant is of square shaped plan and the second one is of hexagonal shaped plan. Both variants are spatial truss structures. They are shaped as hourglass. The variants were compared and the first one was chosen to be further developed. The lookout tower is 36 meters high and it is divided by floors. One floor is 3,6 meters high. The widest section is 8 meters, the narrowest section is 5 meters wide. The structure is pin-supported into concrete foundation. The concrete is class C25/30. The roof covering is made of trapezoidal sheet of class S280GD. Each steel element is made of steel of class S355.

Shopping gallery
Lorenc, Jakub ; Barnat, Jan (referee) ; Pilgr, Milan (advisor)
The subject of this diploma thesis is the design and assessment of main load-bearing elements od the steel structure of shopping gallery in Hodonín. Part of floor plan is rectangular and rest of it is half-circled. Object's dimensions are 7é m x 147,75 m (and roof overhang 1,5 m on each side), the height of the ridge is 13,43 m and the height of the roof's dome is 22,70 m. It's a two-storey building. The load-bearing structure consist of pin-suported columns, in this case there is max. 8,5 m distance between them in direction of main frame. The distance between main frames is 9 m. The spatial rigidity of the structure is ensured with floor slabs and system of bracings. The cladding consists of sandwich panels, roof's fanlights and dome of glazed areas. Most of elements are made of S355 steel.
