Economy of sports club

The aim of the thesis is to evaluate functioning of the sport club Jeseniova, which operates in athletics environment. The thesis results from a description of the club's organizational structure, history, sports specialization, goals and promotion of the club. Through SWOT and financial analysis, the thesis assess the economic operation of the club. Based on the results of the analysis, there are suggested improvements of the club's activity and possible innovations.

Student si vybere konkrétní český či zahraniční sportovní klub, který hraje v hokeji a fotbale nejméně krajskou soutěž (v ostatních sportech celostátní soutěž). Klub představí a popíše organizační strukturu. Provede analýzu příjmů a nákladů za pět let a další ekonomické ukazatele. Srovná tyto hodnoty s ligovým průměrem či jinými kluby v soutěži. Následně podle nejnověší literatury navrhne inovační opatření.

Bachelor document presents marketing activities which are use in sport departments. Theoretic part presents marketing, marketing mix and marketing mix in sport. Practical part is about marketing mix in the czech football club Bohemians 1905, a.s. I evaluate their tools in marketing mix and try to find out some new solutions and give them some new introductions.
Sport's sponsorship as the marketing tool of the firm's communication mix

The main subject of my diploma work is the analysis of the sport's sponzorship effectivity as one of the implement of the firm's communication mixt. This is made for the firm DEKTRADE inc., which is the main sponsor of the cycling team. For better illustration of the sponzorship's function in sports the work is firstly focusing on sports as a marketing branch, then defines sponzorship from the economic and law points of view, maps out its development, shows the possibilities in using it in the field of sports, determines its position in the communication mix of the firm and introduces the possibility for measuring the effectiveness of the capital investments putting in sport's sponzorship. There are also methods of the sponzorship's efficiency assessments in the dissertation. Concretely the survey of the sponzorship's response, general knowledge of the mark and media monitoring. At the conclusion of this work is the reccomendation for improving of the existing situation.

Financing Sport Activities from Public Funds

The thesis analyses the state of today's public funding of sport activities and brings a complex insigh on the issue. It breaks up sport into basic types and clasifies those accordind to the theory of public finance. The present funding on the government and local government level in the Czech Republuc is analysed on the basis of this theory. It also answers the question wheather is any part of sport objective area of the public funding.
