The concept of laicité in Sarkozy's speech in Lateran in 2007
Ivaščenková, Kateřina ; Perottino, Michel (advisor) ; Miklošová, Kateřina (referee)
Bachelor thesis " The concept of laicité in Sarkozy's speech in Lateran from 2007" tackles the issue of laicité, specific secularism existing in France, raised by Sarkozy's speech in the Latran Church. In France, laicité is the result of a long and painful history marked by many conflicts between the Church and the State. In 1905, the law that established the separation of Church and State turned out to mark a fundamental shift in French society. Even though President Sarkozy mentions the deeprooted principle of laicité in France, he emphasizes the importance of religious virtues, in the public sphere. His new concept of 'laicité positive' marks a real rupture in politics from the beginning of the Vth Republic in France. Until now some French presidents accepted their title of Chanoine d'honneur de l'Eglise du Latran but without such a strong religious perspective as Sarkozy. Sarkozy's polemic made clear his preparedness to jeopardize the basic tenants of the separation of Church and State. Atheists in particular felt impugned as in this new political concept, believers are clearly considered to be superior. Likewise, many people reproached Sarkozy for having more respect for teachers with religious views. Some however pleased to see that new perspectives on secularity are possible in which religious faith...

Important influence showed variables relating to played competition, match day and football field. Expected effect of ticket price on attendance was not demonstrated.

CITY AND (ITS) THEATRE
Gregar, Alexandr ; GAJDOŠ, Július (advisor) ; CÍSAŘ, Jan (referee)
PhD thesis project "City and (its) Theatre" is an attempt to map the relation between the development of Hradec Králové and the development of theatre activities on its territory. In the Czech Republic (in terms of the theatrical activities) Hradec Králové is widely known for the modern tradition of international theatre festivals. These festivals take the form of celebrations, a kind of City Dionysia drawing greater or lesser attention of artists, critics, but first of all huge attention of local society. Citizens of Hradec Králové constitute the main part of audiences (up to 70 000 in ten days) of the festival ? unlike other similar events in the Czech Republic ? which can be considered an extraordinary phenomenon. The project aims to identify town-development aspect of the theatre, especially in terms of its position in the public domain. Therefore also reminds conceptual search for the space for the new theatre building, covering a range of such sites in terms of representational, architectural, social and demographic aspects This thesis offers a mosaic of information about the development of this festival based on historical documents, especially printed news and press releases. It monitors fulfilment of the vision of the great theatre celebration deals with its qualitative and quantitative changes not only of the main program but also of the Open Air Programme. It also deals with doubted adjective "Czech Avignon", which is associated with the festival in Hradec Králové and attempts to classify and specify it in terms of content and character of the event Some management issues of the festival are dealt with in separate chapters, and the thesis is accompanied with complete list of productions of the main program and the Open Air Programme in the period 1995-2009.

The main goal of my diploma is to describe domestic mergers and amalgamations, which take place on the territory of Czech republic. Chapters are divided and sorted by particular related areas of the czech legislative framowork. First part of my diploma is dedicated to mergeres as they are, their definition and basic characteristic. Then come description of mergers from different standpoints: legal, tax and account principles regarding to realized changes in framework legislation. A separate chapter describes the whole process of merger paying higher attention to obligatory steps and defined statuory terms. One of the chapters describes a process of merger as it is defined by IFRS rules and compares it with how it is defined by czech legislative framework. The last chapter is about showing an example on how two companies are merged.

Concepts of harmony in five metaphysical poets
Jajtner, Tomáš ; Hilský, Martin (advisor) ; Procházka, Martin (referee) ; Mánek, Bohuslav (referee)
My interest in metaphysical poetry has always been tainted with a sense of amazement and awe: the poetry of the School of Donne, indeed, poses fundamental questions about the nature of modem poetry and the mission of a poet within a disenchanted world. The slow abandonment of the old Pythagorean system of ham1onious spheres rotating around a stable earth and the acceptance of the heliocentric Copernican-Keplerean universe marked a true "breaking of the circle of perfection''- to use the term of Marjorie Nicholson - and entailed a complex breach in the nature of representational arts. The old cosmology depicted the universe as truly universa!, i.e. turning around a single axis, a single principle, or a clearly defined centre. The order of creation was granted by the gradual chain of being, uniting the lowest with the highest in a scale of perfection. The nature of representational arts was, primarily, to re-present the order of creation: i.e. finding a means of transfer between the static order of universe and human understanding. Classical Renaissance literary theory - in fact, inherited from Antiquity - emphasised that poetry as the art of making was to "teach and delight": its delightfulness had to be firmly bound with instruction and initiation into to the order of harmonious cosmos. Indeed, Sidney...

The Influence of Dynamic Stretching to the Immediate Enforcement
SVOBODA, Vojtěch
The work is focused on the evaluation of the impact of two types of stretching on subsequent performance. With regard to the content can be divided into practical and theoretical. A practical part brings relevant knowledge to solve problems. Attention is given to the anatomy of the muscle fiber, the physiology of muscle contraction and muscle connections with the central nervous system. The study also describes the proprioceptive function of muscles, the anatomical dimensions and principles of operation. In connection with the internal control possibilities stretching the muscles are in the theoretical part also describes the reflexes at the level of the muscle fiber. General principles of stretching can be found in this section too. The following is a detailed resolution types of stretching and their implementation, advantages and disadvantages. At the end of the theoretical part describes general contraindications stretching and hypermobility as one of the risk factors. The second part belonged to practical research. The research aims to answer the question: "Which type of stretching before exercise has a better effect on the actual performance?" For this purpose we selected eight active athletes. After showing of concrete stretching workouts were tested person familiar with the disciplines in which the effect of stretching measured. It was a 40 yard sprint, a specific form of the shuttle run, jump from a place in the distance and the implementation of push-ups without stopping to find the maximum number of times. These disciplines have been always performed after the application of one type of stretching, with a minimum range of measurement was determined at 24 hours, for reasons of objectivity research. Overall, each activity was measured four times - twice after the static and twice after the dynamic stretching. Research records the individual variations in the measured values after the static and dynamic stretching in all tests. For better clarity, the deviations from the established arithmetic averages referring to the average positive and negative deviations. The resulting values are then captured in tables, graphically and verbally explained. All the four measurements showed analogous results. In the first three disciplines is a better determination of the dynamic type of stretching due to the relatively higher performance of individual activities. For Sprint and the shuttle run times were recorded less necessary to overcome the distance. At the same time was also significantly better in negative average deviation of the measured times after dynamic stretching. The last tested motion became workout pushups without rest for the maximum number of repetitions achieved. Based on this research it is not possible to determine the appropriate method of preparation for discipline. Implementation of push ups assigns power-endurance nature. Due to the relatively clear results for the other, short-term activities associated with the maximum of performance, it seems clear that the type of stretching manifests a greater impact with this type of load compared to strength-endurance exercise in the form of push-ups. Chapter titled "Discussion" is again divided into two parts. In the first analysis is made of the results and conclusions with regard to possible opposition view on objectivity of measurement. Research is generally considered as the objective and the results are accorded legitimacy. In the second part of the discussion are the conclusions obtained subject to comparison with other international studies that have looked at the impact of these types of stretching at the same or a similar discipline. Given the above facts and research itself can be considered for answering the research question. Short-term disciplines carried out with maximum intensity can be demonstrated dynamic stretching before the actual performance for better compared to static stretching.

Moisture and its transport in shallow subsurface of quartz sandstone
Svobodová, Eliška ; Bruthans, Jiří (advisor) ; Schweigstillová, Jana (referee)
The thesis deals with moisture transport in porous medium of quartz sandstone. Capillary water and its movement is crucial for processes such as salt and frost weathering, growth of organisms and development of honeycombs and tafone. However, moisture transport is still not well described. I focused particularly on two new methods applied to sandstone investigation. In the laboratory I studied moisture transport in sandstone samples by means of repeated injection of uranine solution. I observed the evolution of evaporation front based on the changes in solution concentration indicated by difference in color of uranine solution. Additionally I investigated moisture content in the shallow subsurface of sandstone outcrops in the field using suction pressure and moisture content measurements by microtensiometers and TDR in three locations in the Bohemian Cretaceous Basin. Uranine proved to be an excellent tracer for visualization of the evaporation front geometry and its evolution in time. The results suggest that moisture transport is considerably affected by the presence of biofilms which are hydrophobic and retain moisture transport to surface. In addition, the values of suction pressure measured in honeycombs and a tafone are in agreement with the salt weathering model proposed by Huinink et al. (2004).
