Assessment of compliance with quality management system requirements and benefits of its implementation in a specific organization

The aim of this thesis is to evaluate on the basis of information provided by IDC - FOOD, Ltd. the fulfilment of requirements for ISO 9001 quality management system and identify possible areas for improvement. Furthermore, the aim is to assess the impact the introduction of the quality management system on the functioning of society. The first part of the thesis deals with the theoretical definition of quality and development of care of quality. It also describes approaches to quality management and their development. In the next section IDC - FOOD, Ltd. is introduced, and further it is discussed how the organization implemented and fulfils the requirements of ISO 9001, also possible improvements are identified. At the end of the practical section the impacts of implementing quality management system are then summarized.

The aim of the thesis entitled "Analysis of the quality management system and preparing the organization Parker Hannifin, Ltd. for certification according to ISO/TS 16949 " is an analysis of the current state of quality management system in an organization Parker Hannifin Ltd. in readiness for certification according to technical specification ISO/TS 16949. This thesis consists of two parts. The theoretical part is a comparison of ISO 9001, which already is in an organization, and ISO/TS 16949 the organization wants to implement. The practical part is focused on analyzing the current state of quality management system and comparing it with the requirements of ISO/TS 16949 to know how is organization prepared for certification. There are also recomendations how to meet this requirements.

Examination of quality management system impact on competitive advantage in meat industry company

The aim of this thesis is to evaluate the quality management system of the company. On the basis of acquired information I carried out a quality management analysis of the company. On the basis of the results I carried out a new strategy for the company. I prefer implementation integrated management system which supersedes EN ISO 9001:2001, safety management system according to OHSAS 18001:1999 and environmental management system according to ISO 14001:2004. This part of my thesis includes an impact on competitive advantage.

The Use of Quality Management Systems for Self evaluation of Secondary Schools in the Central Bohemian Region

The final issue deals with the introduction of Quality Management Systems in Central Bohemian high schools. The theoretical part describes principles of the Quality Management and more closely presents ISO 9001 standard, EFQM Excellence Model, CAF Model and CQAF Model. The research part determines opinion of school headmasters in Decree No 15/2005 Coll., that specifies requirements for the obligatory self-evaluation of schools. In next chapters through a survey and an analysis of school web pages is examined practice of Quality Management Systems implementation in high schools in Central Bohemia -- current status, awareness of head masters, demand and expectations. The last chapter offers a definite experience with the introduction of Quality Management Systems through additional interviews with school headmasters.

Implementation of BI in www.scio.cz

Diploma thesis is focused on topics of strategic management, business performance management, Balanced Scorecard and Business Intelligence in the company, which operates in Education. Analyzes the current situation and then design and implement selected tools in a specific organization. Main objective is to design a system for monitoring the performance of medium-sized company through the application of the Balanced Scorecard. Not only for monitoring business performance, but also for the management of company itself. Partial objectives include the identification of strategic objectives, design of strategic map and implementation of selected part through Business Intelligence. Diploma thesis first looks at identifying the main risks and benefits of the BSC and BI. In addition, it also deals with the position of the BSC in practice at present, and current trends in BI. A key benefit of this work is another part, which deals with the relation of the parallel implementation of the Balanced Scorecard and Quality Management System according to ISO. The section devoted to design of the Balanced Scorecard strategic objectives are identified, plotted in the strategic map and accompanied by appropriate metrics. Inputs are the interviews, document study and experiences. The acquired information is verified through a questionnaire survey focused on strategic management and performance measurement. For a practical demonstration is realized Business Intelligence project of specific part of the BSC. Since the initial study, through analysis, design, dimensional analysis, modeling, data warehouse design through to the reports design, implementation and evaluation. Part of the work is to establish technological basis required for the implementation and operation of the project. The main benefit is primarily in the practical dimension. The outputs are designed primarily for management. It enables company to enter the world of the strategic management. Selected parts can also be utilized by any other company that deals with similar issues in management. Specifically, it's the relationship between BSC and QMS, BI trends, risks and benefits of the BSC and BI.

Implementation of quality management system in LEDA Slovakia spol. s r.o.

The aim of my graduation these is implementation of quality management system according to standard ISO 9001:2009 in company LEDA Slovakia spol. s r.o. At the beginning I attend to importance of quality and its control. Next parts acquaint reader with particular chapters of standard, with their interpretations and fullfilment of all requirements. Fundamental part is practical implementation in real company. Established documentation includes Quality manual, documented procedures required by the standard and other documents determined by the organization to be neccessary.

Process management in quality management system

The aim of this diploma thesis is to analyse present internal processes in company TRIO HAVEL s.r.o. and to propose measures which will lead to optimize or redesign of these processes. To achieve this aim was used different methods and techniques of improvement. Some of those are from "New Seven Management Tools" or "Seven Quality Control Tools". Specifically those were "Afinity chart", "Flowchart" and "Pareto chart". For quality planning were used method "Quality Function Deployment" which focus on customers' requirements. Obtained information was analysed. There were designed some recommendations based on them to optimize internal processes. In the end it was said some other recommendations for continual improvement of implemented quality management system and to gain competitive advantage.

The analysis of the organization´s ability KOPY TRUCK s.r.o. to fulfil the requirements of the ISO 9001 standard

The subject of my bachelor's thesis is the standard of ISO 9001. The rate of the standard's requirements is examined for the organization KOPY TRUCK s.r.o. This corporation has had a quality management system of ISO 9001:2008 already implemented. The aim of my bachelor's thesis is to ascertain if this organization fulfil the requirements of ISO 9001 and refer to strengths and weaknesses of this corporation. If need be recommend some possibilities of improvement in the system. The first defines the subject of the quality and its development over time. In addition it records of the quality management approaches that are currently used by organizations. In the thesis there are also the standards of ISO 9000, where is described in detail the Czech technical standard of ČSN EN ISO 9001:2009. The structure and the content of the Czech technical standard are used in practice to assess the degree of compliance standards in the corporation KOPY TRUCK s.r.o. When I had analysed the individual standard's elements, I came to the conclusion that the company fulfil the requirements. I have only proposed some new solutions to increase the effectiveness of QMS. These recommendations relate mainly to the documentation of the policy quality and getting some references from customers.
