Bachelor thesis deals with design of occasional workplace – Home office for NADOP – VÝROBA NÁBYTKU, a.s. Design parts are predict by market research. The element has been designed to meet predefined requirements and targets with respect to safety and current design trends. The thesis is divided into chapters and contains the theoretical basis of work table issues, analysis of historical and current trends, design studies, design solutions and prototype.
Occupational Health and Safety with Focus on Atypical Forms of Employment

Thesis Title: Occupational Health and Safety with Focus on Atypical Forms of Employment The thesis aims to analyse and present the rules of occupational health and safety (OHS). The second goal of the thesis is the research of OHS solutions in atypical forms of employments with regard to current development of working relationships. The thesis also deals with the question of atypical forms of employment and the ensuring of OHS in Germany (GER). The collected information is used for comparison and evaluation of both countries and their attitudes toward OHS in atypical forms of employment. Part of the thesis is also devoted to possible course of OHS in the atypical forms of employment de lege ferenda including potential inspiration from GER in connection with ensuring of OHS. The thesis is mainly based on study of laws, relevant literature, comments and current articles. In the thesis, the descriptive and analytical method are used and at the end supplemented by the comparative one. The thesis is divided into six chapters that are split systematically into subchapters. The first part is focused on the definitions of fundamental terms that are further used in the following chapters. Work performance outside the employer's workplace Abstract The aim of this diploma thesis is to describe the institute work performance outside the employer's workplace, to assess its current legislation and to provide possible solutions in terms of de lege ferenda. The first part of the diploma thesis defines basic terms relating to discussed issues, which are place of work, regular workplace, homeworking and teleworking, for the purposes of better understanding of the following text. The second part deals with the historical development of this institute from the first legal regulations relating to homeworking to current legislation contained in the Labour Code and in Act on Civil Service. One chapter of this part is also dedicated to amendment of the Labour Code from 2017, which should have brought substantial changes into this institute, but it was not accepted. The third part represents the most significant documents concerning homeworking or teleworking at the international level and at EU level. The Labour Code introduces several variations from statutory regulations for employees who work outside the employer's workplace and organize their working time themselves. The topic of this dissertation thesis is a debated issue called "homeoffice and homeworking", which originates from "atypical and flexible forms of work/employment", which are not captured in our labour code as a relevant section that describes legal foundation for setting up standards for employees, nor the employer. The Selected topic comes out of current needs of labour market, ergo needs from the companies, employers and employees. These needs are rising from changes and implementations of new terms and conditions for working out of employers work place, it also originates from demands of young population for more flexible and "free" working time. It comes hand in hand with industry revolution called Industry 4.0. Analysis of flexible forms of employment with a focus on working from home

The goal of the bachelor thesis is to map the field of flexible forms of employment. Introduce individual forms of employment according to various authors and shortly describe them. Then evaluate several selected forms and capture their advantages and disadvantages, both from the side of employer and employee. For better understanding of the topic context, there is an introduction of a few basic concepts, explanation of the concept of flexibility and mentioned trends that currently affect employment. The greatest emphasis is on the forms of work from home. Which the practical part is focused on. The methodological part contains informations about the researched sample and the data collection method. In practical part will contain results from quantitative research using a questionnaire. The goal of the practical part is to find out the opinions of the interviewed about the work from home then their awareness of the advantages and disadvantages, an interest in given form of employment and at the same time confirmation or disproof of pre-determined research questions.
Flexible Work Arrangements

The diploma thesis investigates attitudes of employers and employees towards flexible forms of working. Flexible forms of working are, for purpose of the diploma thesis, understood as a tool for work-life balance. Attention is devoted to part-time, home office, flexible working hours and job-sharing. Research of employers and employees attitudes is based on a questionnaire survey and focus groups realized within a project METR at Fond of Further Education. The aim of the diploma thesis is to find out not only the actual using of flexible forms of working in companies and organizations, but also the potential for their development. The results of the diploma thesis show that flexible forms of working are very actual topic among employers and employees. However, employers are still afraid of their implementation. Part-time contracts are the most often used flexible forms of working and also have the greatest potential for the future development. Working hours and flexible forms of work

Suitable working time arrangements, implementation of flexible forms of work and a provision of sufficient rest periods are vital prerequisites for the creation of favourable working conditions leading to a satisfaction of both employees and employers. This bachelor thesis deals with the legal regulation of working hours and rest periods in the Labour Code, comparison of the duration of working hours in the Czech Republic and other countries of the European Union and furthermore deals with the main flexible forms of work and their application in the European Union. The aim of this thesis is to shed some light on the employers' view of flexible forms of employment, describe their main advantages and disadvantages and find out through questionnaires what the employees think about home-working and suggest its appropriate provision.
Impacts of the financial crisis on using telework as a form of flexible working

This thesis describes a concept of telework, its background, diffusion and penetration, the European Framework Agreement on Telework and provides a detailed analysis of home office as one form of telework in Czech Republic and Germany during the financial crisis. Evaluating the impacts of the financial crisis on using this form of flexible working is based on statistical data, researches and case studies from both countries and on interviews with representatives of two companies located in Czech Republic and two companies located in Germany which practice home office. The research is completed with an interview with a telework service provider.
