Preparation for function demonstration of basic types of oscillators
Venhoda, Jaroslav ; Šotner, Roman (referee) ; Brančík, Lubomír (advisor)
Bachelor's thesis deals with basic types of oscillators. Oscillators were divided into groups in the introduction. For the practical implementation was chosen four different types of oscillators. For each type of selected oscillator was done circuit design. Subsequently, the design was simulated by PC software OrCAD PSpice. The proposal includes a possibility of the control device by switching between outputs and tuning oscillator's frequency.
Technical Analysis
Mičánek, Filip ; Doubravský, Karel (referee) ; Novotná, Veronika (advisor)
This thesis deals with technical analysis, which is used to predict future development of stocks. The first part describes the theoretical background needed for the next section. This is followed by analysis of the current state, which assesses the current situation. The main part is devoted to the creation of a program to support technical analysis for the novice investor and the demonstration of its use in trading.
Technical Analysis
Krčová, Vendula ; Jedličková, Lucie (referee) ; Novotná, Veronika (advisor)
This diploma thesis is focused on the general characteristics of the technical analysis, definitions of the information sources and technical analyses. Main attention is given to the particular indicators of the technical analysis. Practical part of this thesis includes applying of the defined indicators in the evaluation of the money market situation.
Analysis of stocks on the chosen branch of the Stock Exchange using the methods of technical and fundamental analysis
URBANOVÁ, Kateřina
The purpose of this thesis was to analyze selected sectors of the stock exchange through methods of technical and fundamental analysis and to find the most appropriate investment strategy based on the results. At first were subjected to corell and runs tests. These tests should have proven or disproven the existence of weak form of efficiency. In the fundamental analysis was chosen the method of comparation of alpha coefficient and average monthly revenues. The technical analysis tested of moving averages and monitoring the signals using oscillators. The last step was a comparison of investment methods and strategies, found investment strategy and made a investment porfolio.
Metabolic rhythms of unicellular, nitrogen fixing cyanobacteria and possible interplay with modeled KaiABC circadian oscillator
Červený, Jan ; Nedbal, Ladislav
Circadian clocks of living organisms provide evolutionary advantage and make living in dynamic environment more efficient. The clocks affect human lives and health as well as control the simplest organisms such as prokaryotic cyanobacteria. The cyanobacteria represent an excellent model that is amendable to a multitude of genetic, biochemical, and biophysical methods. The cyanobacterium, Cyanothece sp. ATCC 51142 relies on the circadian clock to permit, in the same cell, anoxygenic nitrogen fixation at night and oxygenic photosynthesis during solar day. We measured real-time, in-situ photosynthetic and respiratory activities as well as the culture growth under light forcing conditions and also under constant light, i.e. free-running mode. Interestingly, the experiments show a strong 24h-period dynamic pattern that is replaced by apparent 12h-period in free running mode. The 24h-pattern does not change significantly when changing the light/dark ratio from 16hL/8hD to 12hL/12hD and 8hL/16hD. Furthermore, we tried to elucidate connection between these metabolic rhythms and known structure of KaiABC circadian oscillator by means of mathematical modeling. One of simulation results show a strong correlation between the presumed catabolic event indicated by significant peak in respiratory activity, and simulated dynamics of KaiB4 complex in modeled circadian pacemaker. A causal relationship between these 2 events is suggested because KaiB4 facilitates dephosphorylation of KaiC6 hexamer, which is known to signal upcoming dark period.

Fluidická oscilátorová ústrojí založená na „Aerodynamickém Paradoxu“
Tesař, Václav
Discussed unusual flow-induced oscillation mechanism is based on an old but nearly forgotten phenomenon contradicting simple logic (motion opposing the direction of incoming flow). The author proposed using this mechanism in a number of interesting fluidic devices. The paper concentrates on observed existence of two different vibration regimes and the fact that the transition between these regimes exhibits a local maximum of Strouhal number Sh.
Ambiguousness and basins of attraction of the oscillator with soft impacts
Peterka, František ; Čipera, Stanislav
Dynamics of oscillators with soft impacts is characterized, in the comparison with oscillators with rigid impacts, by the existence of subharmonic impact motions, which should be excited by special motion initial conditions. The investigation of such motions was performed using the evaluation of basins of attraction of the oscillator motion regimes. New impact motions were ascertained and general conclusions were formulated.
Optimized testing of utilization of indicators for technical analysis on selected equities from SPAD
Novotný, Josef ; Veselá, Jitka (advisor)
The purpose of this diploma thesis is a testing of utilization of the indicators for technical analysis on selected equities from SPAD. The main aim of this thesis is to answer whether the trading based on the indicators of technical analysis could be profitable particularly for an ordinary investor in the time of the financial crises. For this purpose there were used equity rates for ČEZ, Komerční banka, Philip Morris ČR and Telefónica O2C.R.. Analyzed period is divided into two parts. Parameters of the indicators are tested in the first period from 2002 to 2006 and the calculated optimized parameters are used in the second period from 2002 to March of 2009.
Technická analýza vybraných akciových titulů
Polaková, Soňa ; Radová, Jarmila (advisor)
Cílem této práce je analyzovat vývoj kurzů zvolených akcií za posledních 18 měsíců a prostřednictvím optimalizovaných parametrů funkcí jednotlivých nástrojů (klouzavých průměrů, oscilátorů a objemových indikátorů) zhodnotit, zda je vybraná metoda výhodnou investicí a zda umožňuje v následujících 6 měsících dosáhnout většího výnosu než prostá metoda Buy and Hold.
