Abstract: Dynamics of oscillators with soft impacts is characterized, in the comparison with oscillators with rigid impacts, by the existence of subharmonic impact motions, which should be excited by special motion initial conditions. The investigation of such motions was performed using the evaluation of basins of attraction of the oscillator motion regimes. New impact motions were ascertained and general conclusions were formulated.
