The main theme of this bachelor's thesis is to design a procedure for the evaluation of the operating status of warehouse and workshop cranes. This methodology was tested in practice. This document also contains an overwiew of the main security risks arising form the poor condition of cranes, as well as an overwiew of places where defects on crane occur most frequently. The annex also contains photographs form the practical part.

Traveling Mechanism of Crane Trolley Capacity 32 tons

This bachelor thesis is concerned with design of drive mechanism for bridge crane trolley with demanded load capacity 32 t and traveling speed 25 mmin^(-1). The Main objective is design of the drive mechanism, consisting of drive, brakes and parts directly related, as the frame, wheels, shafts, bearings, couplings and control of the chosen parts. This work contains important calculations for this control, designed undercarriage of the crane trolley and stress analysis of some components. Part of this thesis is also the drawing documentation.

Handling system loads in foundry

This thesis deals with in the first part of the system of handling of loads in the operation of the foundry, which includes a brief description of the operation of the foundry, used material handling equipment for the transport of loads and risk analysis in their use with tasks commonly measures to avoid or minimize them. In the second part deals with the calculation of the strength of the sling. The work consists of technical reports and drawings.

Crane Hook Block - Lifting Capacity 16 tons

The aim of this thesis is the design of crane hook block with a capacity of 16 tons. Pulley block used for lifting and moving loads in a medium heavy-duty use. It is equipped with a simple hook. The work, therefore, the proposal contains solutions rope transfer, strength and dimensional calculations of components and assembly drawings, axes, pulleys and nut hook.

Design of lifting gear of bridge crane 50 tonne

The submitted bachelor thesis deals with the design of a lifting gear for a bridge crane on 50 tonnes. The first part includes a design and a calculation of a rope, rope pulleys, design of a block and a cable reel. In the second part there is chosen an electromotor, a transmission, a brake, a clutch and bearings. Relevant strength calculations of a cable reel and a cable reel bolt are made for the capacity of 50 tonnes. The output of this bachelor thesis is a drawing documentation of a cable reel and a manufacturing drawing of reel components.

Crane Stroke Mechanism 25 t

The purpose of this bachelor thesis is the proposal of stroke mechanism of travelling crab with lifting capacity 25,000 kg. The proposal consists in calculations of the main dimensions of individual parts of the stroke mechanism, as the pulleys diameters, overall dimensions of the rope drum, rope diameter, then the choice of gearbox, brake, coupling and electric motor. There is a strength calculation of the rope drum and the bearing life calculation. Thesis includes assembly drawing of travelling crab and drawing of rope drum weldment.

The work includes stress analysis of selected components. The work also includes drawing documentation.

The aim of this bachelor’s thesis is to suggest main characteristics of the crane, such as lift height and lift speed. This thesis deals with choice of cable, hook, electromotor, gearbox and break, diameters of balancing and guide blocks and cable drum including strength calculation. Thesis includes complete design of block and its strength calculation.
