Experimental Evaluation of Clock Synchronization for Networked Control Systems
Pacner, Jan ; Polčák, Libor (referee) ; Ryšavý, Ondřej (advisor)
Within this topic, a testing environment is built, where different clock synchronization methods are evaluated in order to establish a maximal achievable clock precision in a distributed SCADA system based on the QNX operating system. Furthermore a measurement of parameters of communication for different technologies and circumstances is taken. For this purpose, porting of the PTP protocol to QNX OS is necessary.
Advanced Backup for OS Windows
Šilhán, Jiří ; Trchalík, Roman (referee) ; Očenášek, Pavel (advisor)
Nowadays digital information is an inseparable part of our lives. More and more information has been stored on digital storages. It is very well used by individuals, companies and states. This bachelor thesis is aimed at data backups, software comparison and mainly at description of the created software which is capable to backup and restore data intelligently.
Advanced Synchronization of Contacts and Calendar with Google Services
Dohnal, Matěj ; Zelený, Jan (referee) ; Očenášek, Pavel (advisor)
The purpose of this barchelor’s thesis is to sum up the knowledge of personal data synchronization between a desktop application and the Google services. The main goal is to design and implement own application which would perform advanced synchronization of personal data. The design should be based on knowledge from the first step and also on deep analysis of existing solutions. Last part of the thesis describes testing of the implemented application and discussion of aproached goals and following development of the application.
Synchronization and Backup od Data under OS Linux
Marťák, Adam ; Rychlý, Marek (referee) ; Očenášek, Pavel (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis deals with synchronisation and backup of data under Linux OS. The aim of this paper is to design and implement a custom tool for data synchronisation and backup for Linux OS. The solution was inspired by the program Git. The architecture peer-to-peer was used to implement the project. The tool uses a database to store metadata and data itself. Based on testing, it was found that the tool has a certain overhead during the data synchronisation and the process of backing up. These results are discussed and other proposals are submited in the conclusion.
Shared Bookmarks in KDE
Korčák, Ján ; Částek, Petr (referee) ; Burget, Radek (advisor)
The work deals with a problem of storing and sharing internet bookmarks what means the possibility to access them from any place. it is not concerning only the modern graphic user interface KDE, which is frequently used in the UNIX type operating systems but the solutions for it are not that universal. The application which I am analyzing in the text is working independently on the installed graphical user interface and it does not require installing many libraries. All the work is maintained by the program itself. The work is also studying various problems involved with the process of creation and development of such a system.
MySQL Database Synchronization
Dluhoš, Ondřej ; Rychlý, Marek (referee) ; Jaša, Petr (advisor)
This thesis deals with the MySQL database synchronization. The goal of this work was to get acquainted with database synchronization in a broader context, to choose the appropriate tools for real usage, and them to implement, evaluate and analyze these tools. From these techniques was selected MySQL replication technology that solves the synchronization task of distributed evidence database system of health implantable devices in the best way. The replication was implemented on this database system and after the testing was used in the company Timplant Ltd.
Confidential Information Storage for Windows Mobile System
Štorek, Vojtěch ; Malinka, Kamil (referee) ; Hanáček, Petr (advisor)
Confidential information such as passwords, cryptographic keys, certificates, etc. are used every day on various places. Mobile phone can be a good storage for such informations, but is necessary to ensure data security. Main goal of this project is to create a program for Windows Mobile phones which will keep all the informations in one place protected by password. Designed program lets user to store passwords, cryptographic keys, various files, important contacts, credit card numbers, etc. Some of the stored informations can be downloaded from remote server via FTP protocol or from smart card. It is also possible that two clients will synchronize their informations via Network and other usefull functions.
Intelligent Agents in Wireless Networks
Kružliak, Miroslav ; Samek, Jan (referee) ; Zbořil, František (advisor)
This Master thesis deals with synchronization of sensor nodes in wireless sensor net. It is used event ordering by the implementation of logical clocks . Lamport's algorithm is used here for synchronization, which is trying to order events within the given system. The thesis also evaluates how appropriate this principle for synchronization is. The implementation has been carried out in agent-oriented language AgentSpeak on the Jason platform. Samson environment has been used and modified for observation of this synchronization's behaviour and testing purposes.
Software Integration
Strouhal, Jaroslav ; Burget, Radek (referee) ; Kreslíková, Jitka (advisor)
The aim of this master's thesis: processing problem of intregration software resolution and propose the integration such the resolution using in real company, implemented into local information system with using existing  data formats and interface. Proposal integration must implement and evaluate resolution of work.
Distributed System for School Register of Basic and Secondary Schools
Martiš, Viktor ; Ryšavý, Ondřej (referee) ; Ráb, Jaroslav (advisor)
One of the software success condition on the software market is permanent development to keep in condition with actual technical tools. That is the reason why SAS software is searching for a way how to fulfil customer's requirements better. The change to the distributed system architecture brings new opportunities and sets up competitive advantage for SAS concurrently. The subject of this thesis is to create the design of movement to the distributed system. The main reason is to make analysis, design and partial implementation meeting functional requirements of the new architecture.
