Start-up of a Czech company in the American business environment

The subject of my bachelor's thesis is the start-up of a Czech company in the American business environment. Main goal of the thesis is the comparison of the administrative and legal boards relevant to a company establishment in both Czech and American business environment, with emphasis on criteria of the establishment from the view of a foreigner and creating a manual for a small-sized company establishment in the USA. The first part of the thesis includes general theoretical knowledge, gained from the recognized literature. The second part focuses on the specific company step-by-step establishment based on the business plan. The output of the comparative analysis is the recommendation if and under which conditions, it is worth creating such a company; which company type is the best to choose and with what risks may occur. At the end, there are found all the important conclusions that arise from the previous parts.

Chosen natural resources: focuses of conflicts nad its economic consequences

The bachelor´s thesis aims to three chosen natural resources, which are petroleum, natural gas and water, and conflicts based on disputes over them. The aim of the thesis was to valorize nature of the conflicts, define their main focus and draw prospective economic consequences. Professional literature that deals with this kind of issue, was used in order to find out the true nature of the conflicts. The result is an evaluation, which has proven, that the most influental conflicts are rising over disputes over petroleum. Their economic and political impacts are very perceptible and economically measurable in the way of GDP, the total product and other economic indicators. In the thesis has been also proven that the conflicts on the basis of natural gas have similiar nature and extent as it is in the case of petroleum, even thought in a smaller amount. The least important conflicts in a meaning of economic impacts are those over water, by those has been proven, that they do not poses such an impact on economic and political situation as petroleum or natural gas nowdays.

Developing of young athletes in TJ Nová Včelnice The aim of the work: Analyze and evaluate the system for preparing pupils for the athletics athletic TJ New Včelnice. Methods: Basic data were obtained using a quantitative analysis of the training program. Other important information was gathered through a regular participantního observation, supplemented by informal interviews with participants in the training process. results: The results of quantitative analysis were recorded and content of each table year period of preparation was compared with the available literature. The aim of this Bachelor thesis is to describe, analyse and evaluate development, education and motivation of employees at a travel agency. The theoretical part defines the important chapters and concepts, which are necessary for the following analysis. In the following practical part the current state of development, education and motivation of employees at a specific russian travel agency is evaluated and analysed with the help of survey. At the end, there are a few suggestions on, what the travel agency could do to ensure even greater satisfaction of employees. This Bachelor's thesis is based on scientific literature devoted to the topic, company internal materials and the author's own experience, which she garnered while working in that particular company.

Motivation and evaluation of empolyees

My bachelor thesis is focused on motivation and assessment of employees in the company. The aim of this thesis is to investigate the influence of team building and benefits on employees' motivation. Literature based theoretical part of my thesis describes and investigates the real meaning and purpose of motivation and basic motivational concepts. Furthermore, I outlined the basics behind employee benefits, team building and also stated the current given trends in these areas. The practical part is focused on benefit and workplace research and their impact on the general motivation to work and the relations between the employees of the Czechoslovak Commercial Bank (ČSOB). In order to collect the best results, I used the method of questionnaires. Respondents were asked to answer questions considering their satisfaction with the system of employee benefits and the importance of teamwork. Based on the survey results I propose certain changes that should lead to motivation improvement and better job performance.

The possibilities of use of the robotic system da Vinci for treatment of localized prostate tumor

Cancer of prostate is the most frequent male malignity and also it is the second most common cause of death in Europe and in the USA. There are 2 228 new cases reported in the Czech republic per year. The probability of occurrence of this disease is one to six during whole life. There is a good success in detection of his disease in the early stage due to development of screening methods. In such case the radical prostatectomy is very successful method of treatment. Besides of operation methods like open radical prostatectomy and laparoscopic prostatectomy there is a new operation method using robotic system da Vinci. The aim of this machine is to bring the advantages of the miniinvasive surgery together with keeping intuitive handling like in open surgery. First da Vinci system was bought and installed in the Central military hospital in Prague, Czech republic in 2005. The common knowledge about using this method is very low in both general public and specialists. Nor patients, neither their doctors often know about possibility of surgery using da Vinci system. The main objective of this thesis is to evaluate almost three years of experience of treatment localized prostate tumor using da Vinci system, and to describe its possibilities, benefits and disadvantages. Dynamic model of human resources in project management

This thesis is focused on dynamics of soft factors influencing workers during projects. These factors include motivation, workplace atmosphere, team synergy of workers and their emotions, and attribute of project manager who manages the project. Identification of soft factors and their relationships was achieved by examination of scientific literature in psychology and system dynamics. Description of managing project matters was achieved by examination of scientific literature dealing with project management. The main objective of this thesis is to create a dynamic model which simulates behavior of these soft factors influencing the project staff. The primary metric of the model is efficiency of workers participating on the project based on input parameters. Validation of the model was achieved by verification of historic behavior of key elements. Results of validation experiments correspond with historic behavior with roughly 95 % accuracy. At the end of this thesis is presented an ICT project case study. Based on the results of simulation experiments is performed a scenario analysis which tries to bring possible suggestions for project management.

The result of this work is a comprehensive overview and introduction to the law of social networks and advertising, demonstration of the importance and significance of this topic and finally evaluation of the effectiveness of legislation that protects consumers in the environment of social networks.

Superior and efficiency sport of visually impaired people in the Czech Republic

Project: Superior and efficiency sport of visually impaired people in the Czech Republic Aim of the project: The aim of the project is to compile an overview about Paralympic and selected sports that are done by visually impaired people here in the Czech Republic. The overview includes basic information about specification of individual sports of visually impaired persons as well as updated description of organization of sports for such disabled persons. Based on these facts it makes suggestions to improve the current state. Method: To achieve the aim of this project, an author made an analysis of literature specialized in the given issue, compared the selected documents and personally joined several sport events aimed at visually impaired persons. Results: The current state of organization and direction of the Czech Blind Sportsmen Association is not optimum. The suggestions to improve it are stated in discussion.
