Project of family farm as closed economic unit

The diploma thesis deals with the family farm, which deals with fast growing trees cultivation. Business plan for my firm is the operation of the cogeneration unit and ensuring its self-sufficiency. The intention is that the family farm should produce more than half the biomass for cogeneration units.
Diploma thesis works with providing services in processing of logging residues, removing seeding trees and transportation. All this in order to obtain sufficient quantities of the commodity for the operation of boiler plants with cogeneration unit. Further outputs are addressed including the use of waste heat. Necessary support in planning the boiler room is the SWOT analysis. Conclusion of SWOT analysis clearly support the business plan for hte operation of a family farm.
Another key factor, that motivates me to expand current boiler room is a continuously rising electricity price. I suppose part of the generated electric power will be used for wood drying, the rest of the energy power is supposed to be sold to CEZ. Revenue from electricity sales should improve my Cash-Flow.
An important source of energy is a waste hot water that will be used for heating lumber drying, rabbit slaughterhouses of Rabbit firm. The rest of hot water waste will be used for heating workshops and residential buildings around.
The main incentive for founding a family farm is request to have enough fuel for the cogeneration unit also in case of external source shortage. The target is to ensure fluent economic operation of whole technological equipment.
My target is an overall economic assessment of the project for extracting of biomass from various sources. After an overall assessment we got conclusion, that the project can be profitable especially due to own production. Services provided by my farm creates significant additional value.
For family farm founding motivates me also unemployment of several family members.

Verification of project „Park za sv. Jakubem v Klatovech“

City council of Klatovy town in the Czech Republic submitted a contract for a new town park project on the place called "Za sv. Jakubem" in 2005. Studio SILVEX represented by Ing. Pavel Borusík won this contract and created a feasibility study as the first step of the project documentation. Till now the study has not been realized because of problematic ownership issues within the concerned area.
This diploma thesis strives to solve the question of the up-to-dateness of that project which has been suspended for ten years by now. The main subjects of this thesis have been the project content evaluation, verification of up-to-dateness and to design a new solution respecting current and future needs of the city inhabitants and park users.
Literary overview of the current state of the problem deals with public space areas characteristics, city park characteristics, graveyard characteristics including types of graveyards, burials, graves, burial history in the Czech Republic and Jewish cemeteries. The thesis addresses with the impact of the death on survivors and greenery effects as a green place useful for meditation. The graveyard topic is elaborated because of the geographical distance of Klatovy's town's graveyard to the intended park area.
Evaluation of detailed data provides the fundamental information about Klatovy and the park place, brief contents and main thoughts of feasibility study "Za sv. Jakubem", own verification of the available documentation including changes in the property relations.
All together it had served as a basis for designing new park concept proposal, which responds adequately to demands of park users. The project by Studio SILVEX proposes park place with purely town meaning, containing children playground, in-line skating track and other sport activities. The diploma thesis's park concept transforms the project with focus on scenery locations and relax place for visitors of the nearby town graveyard.

Analysis of economy selected agricultural enterprises

The Diploma Thesis deals with the evaluation of the economic activities of some agricultural enterprises. For the assessment, the companies based in the same region were chosen ZS Dublovice, a.s. and ZS Kosova Hora, a.s. Their participation in agriculture is traditional and both companies are stable and well-working. The primary activity of ZS Dublovice, a.s. is production of electric power. In the recent years, they put emphasis on animal farming development and environmental protection. ZS Kosova Hora is distinguished by the crop farming, nevertheless the main source of livelihood is animal farming. The evaluation was made for years 2010 up 2014.
The theoretical part consists of the financial analysis, its procedure, methods, indicators and basic economic terms. The practical part is focused on characteristic of joint-stock companies, analysis of corp and animal farming, entire investments in the mentioned years and also the calculations of the financial analysis of operational outcomes using certain methods. The entire calculations are based on accounting statements and company documentation.
The conclusion of the Thesis contains appraisal of the state of economic activities, comparison of the financial situation of both companies and the forward view on the possible development, innovations or changes that would contribute to improving the situation of both companies.

Evaluation of the influence of the grant programs aimed at the management and development of city

The diploma thesis titled Evaluation of the influence of the grant programs aimed at the management and development of city, deals with the analysis of grant projects and resources received by the selected municipalities, which is the town of Sedlec-Prčice. The village lies on the border of middle and southern Bohemia, 70 km south of Prague in the district of Příbram. In the village live permanently over 2 700 inhabitants. The thesis is focused on the analysis of the investment action undertaken in support of the grant funds not only from the European union in the programming period 2007 to 2013 and the evaluation of their impact on the management of and development of the municipality. The result of the thesis is to assess the economic impact of the subsidies on the farming village and the assessment of the impact of the projects implemented through financial support from different sources on the development in the village, or on the quality of life of the local population, to which contributed the conclusions of a questionnaire survey conducted on the territory of the city.

Evaluation of growth and fertility in chosen columnar apple-tree varieties

This paper deals with the evaluation of growth and fertility in selected apple varieties. I will discuss the range of columnar apple trees, which represent a further step in the development of growing shapes. Eleven different varieties grafted onto two different rootstocks was assessed. Planting was establish in the spring of 2013, the clamp 3 x 0,8 m. The trees were planted as a two-year vaccinees.
The aim of the study was to evaluate and compare the increase in trunk diameter, the intensity of growth and yield of selected columnar apple varieties, before and after the end of their vegetation. It was necessary to evaluate the cross-sectional area strain in (cm2), increase in cross-sectional area strain in (cm2), average fruit weight (g), crown height (m), absolute yield (kg) per tree, specific yield on (cm2) cross-sectional area, yield (kg) on increase in area strain, area yield (t / ha) and specific yield on the crown height (kg / m).
In the theoretical part I will deal with the history of apple growing and growing development of various shapes, characteristics of apple trees, their significance and composition. Further I will discuss demands on the growing the apple tree and its treating. At the same time I will mention the major diseases and pests. At the end of this part I will describe harvesting methods and proper storage.
The practical part is focused on the experiment itself and its subsequent evaluation. I will mention the location and characteristics of the habitat where the apple tree grew. I will describe specific columnar varieties and rootstocks used. I will characterize the specific location of the varieties grown and the activities that were implemented during the evaluation period of the experiment.
In conclusion, the results have been evaluated, to which I arrived during the entire measurements. This part contains the observed values displayed in two tables. For a better overview of the data obtained and the results they are displayed graphically. At the end there is a complete summary of the whole work.
For the most of the results it has been proved that a base affects the intensity of growth and yield. The biggest growth area strain (cm2) had a variety 'Cumulus' on rootstock M 26, but on the rootstock M 9 the increase was significantly lower. When assessing absolute yield the highest values were observed in a variety 'Red Spring' on rootstock M 26, followed by the yield of variety 'Slendera' on rootstock M 26. The lowest yield was observed in cultivar 'Cumulus' on M 9. In these cases, we can confirm the influence of rootstock of variety. When evaluating the specific yield on increase strain the highest yield was at varieties 'Red Spring' on M 26, followed by a variety 'Slendera', where the yield was greater on the rootstock M 9. Here it is impossible to unequivocally confirm that the rootstock M 26 has a higher yield than the rootstock M 9.

Funding and Provision of Rail Transport in the Czech Republic

High quality public transport system is a hallmark of everyone from advanced European states. The existence and development of the public transport sector is significantly dependent on finance from public sources. The Czech Republic is no exception. The system of railway infrastructure in the Czech Republic constitutes the core of national transportation system with links to Central European transit system. The main objective of diploma thesis is to financial analysis of Czech Railways in the years 2005 - 2014. Czech Railways are considered the dominant carrier in the transport railway sector. Due attention is given to support from public sources, whether at the regional, national or even European level.

Evaluation of the Insurance Rate Development in Social Security in the Czech Republic

Thesis topic was chosen Assessment of development of social security in the Czech Republic. The work is divided into two parts. The first theoretical part includes the history of social insurance in Czechoslovakia, its development and description of the current situation in the context of the rules which the social insurance in the Czech Republic has passed. The second part is an analysis of social insurance from publicly available data, which are transferred into summary tables and graphs. Analyzed the number of payers of insurance premiums, income and expenditure on social security, debt structure and success of premium collection. The final section is an assessment of the current social insurance system in the Czech Republic are proposals to increase income, thus to stabilize the system of social insurance premiums.

Situation of the Romanies in Selected South Bohemian Regions after Returning from Abroad

The work deals with finding reasons migration of Roma from selected locations in South County abroad and back. It is divided into theoretical and practical. The theoretical part describes the issue of Roma migration, job opportunities and related discrimination against the Roma minority. On this basis, then take into account the reasons for Roma had moved abroad. In the theoretical part of the thesis are listed as sources of citation dismissal of social workers working with minority, who are the issue of Roma migration familiarity. The practical part of the thesis research, research methodology, are taken into account the possibility of bias assessment research and the actual evaluation of semi-structured interviews. Discussion includes a recapitulation of the work, which is described at the end of the overall evaluation of the work.

Evaluation of Marketing Communication

The paper focuses on the issues of the marketing communication. The main goal of the paper is to suggest recommandation for the improvement of the marketing communication of the company Cajova kvetina s.r.o. (Ltd) with a focus on Matcha Tea product. The theory part delimits the terms marketing, marketing mix and the marketing communication. Later there is the preparation of the effective marketing communication defined. The practical part analyses the marketing mix with a focus on marketing communication of Matcha Tea product followed by a survay research in the form of personal questioning. The result shows that 37 per cent of the respondents are aware of the existence of Matcha Tea product, 81 per cent of them has already tried it, and 87 per cent of those are satisfied. In the conclusion part there is an evaluation of the returnability of the discount coupons that received all the respondents after filling in the questionaire. The 15% discount coupon for one packaging of Matcha Tea + shaker is used by 29% ofrespondents. Based on the questionaire research it is suggested and recommanded to improve marketing communication for Matcha Tea product. The primary goal of the suggestion is the increase of the Matcha Tea sales by 10% during the following six months and the secondary goal is the increased visibility on the market. In order to reach these goals, the following models of marketing communication were chosen: personal selling, sales promotion, word-of-mouth marketing, interactive marketing and advertising.

Evaluation of the grants influence on economy and development of municipality or city

This thesis is focused on to the impact assessment of the grants on overall economy and development of the town Police nad Metuji and village Suchy Dul. The thesis consists of two parts. The first part includes general theory of management models for municipalities, using professional sources of information. The second part includes analysis of the budget revenue and expenses of Police nad Metuji and Suchy Dul during the period 2010 - 2015. The conclusion of the second part is the evaluation of two major projects being realized by the town Police nad Metuji and municipality Suchy Dul during the period 2010 - 2014.
The theoretical part includes a literature search, in which terms like a city, a village, a farming, municipal authorities, subsidies are described and characterized.
The practical part consists of detailed analysis of the grants management. There is the detailed description of selected entities and their revenue & expenses analysis. The main focus is on economical and socio-cultural impacts of the selected grants. Finally, the survey research is used to determine the inhabitants´ satisfaction / dissatisfaction with management and development of the analysed town/ municipality.
The final conclusion contains summary of findings and results of comparison between the impact of realized projects and its actual inhabitant perception.
