Dynamic behavior od rotor dynamics system vibrating in a liquid
Kučera, Martin ; Pohanka, Lukáš (referee) ; Malenovský, Eduard (advisor)
This thesis deals with dynamic behavior of rotor dynamics system vibrating in a liquid. Work is factually oriented on influence of the liquid to natural frequences of rotor of vortex turbine. There is described the creation of geometric and computational model of the system and the results of natural frequences and damping in dependence on environment are presen-ted. There are compared variations in natural frequences of the rotor system, which are caused of the interaction of the various level of the water environment. The step of integration are tested and compared for choise solving method. Problem is solved by computational simulation in commercial software ANSYS 11.0 There is used software tools Multiphysics/FSI.

Plasma spraying from liquids: plasma liquid interaction and coating build up
Tesař, Tomáš ; Mušálek, Radek ; Medřický, Jan ; Lukáč, František
Plasma spraying from liquid feedstocks is a rapidly developing field of thermal spraying since the coatings prepared from liquids exhibit some unique features, such as high hardness, thermal shock resistance or low thermal and electric conductivity. The key factor influencing the final coating character and properties is the input material which may be in the form of a suspension or a solution. Parameters of the selected suspension (solids concentration, viscosity, surface tension, chemical composition, etc.) or solution (concentration, etc.) determine its interaction with the plasma jet which strongly influences the coating buildup. This proceeding introduces the problematics of the interaction between the liquid feedstock material with the plasma jet and presents the way of evaluation of the coating buildup.

Retinoid regulation of target gene transcription and antitumor activity of retinoid related molecules
Raška, Ivan ; Broulík, Petr (advisor) ; Kostrouch, Zdeněk (referee) ; Pokorný, Jaroslav (referee)
Nuclear Retinoic Acid (RA) Receptors (RARs) activate gene expression through dynamic interactions with coregulators in coordination with the ligand and phosphorylation processes. In the first part of this work, we showed that during RA-dependent activation of the RARq isotype, the pi 60 coactivator pCIP/ACTR/AIВ-1 /RAC-3/TRAM-1 /SRC-3 was phosphorylated by p38MAPK. SRC-3 phosphorylation was correlated to an initial facilitation of RARa-target genes activation, via the control of the dynamics of the interactions of the coactivator with RARa. Then phosphorylation inhibited transcription via promoting the degradation of SRC-3. In line with this, inhibition of p38MAPK markedly enhanced RARa-mediated transcription and RA-dependent induction of cell differentiation. SRC-3 phosphorylation and degradation occurred only within the context of RARa complexes, suggesting that the RAR isotype defined a phosphorylation code through dictating the accessibility of the coactivator to p38MAPK. We proposed a model in which RARa transcriptional activity was regulated by SRC-3 through coordinated events that are fine- tuned by RA and p38MAPK. The retinoid related molecules (RRMs), ST1926 and CD437, are promising anti-cancer agents. In the second part of this work, we compared the RAR trans-activating properties of the two RRMs...

Evaluation of the effectiveness of teaching vocational subjects depending on physical activity before schooling.
Janošíková, Martina ; Hanušová, Marie (advisor)
The period of transition to secondary school brings substantial changes in the requirements for study obligations, autonomy, communication, expression, or separated from their families in the form of staying at the dormitory. Students enrolled in sport centers, in addition to these changes, still struggling with the responsibilities associated with sport. Because they are students first through fourth grades of secondary schools and secondary vocational schools, an age when image self-I am, what I believe in, arises in interactions with the outside world and their own experience, plays a very important role to influence the environment, educators, teachers and trainers, with which students spend most of their time in practice. This study looks at students comprehensively in terms of personal development as a multifactorial biopsychosocial unit, in terms of cognitive and motivational processes, states and properties from the perspective of social psychology dealing with the interactions, relationships and communication, psychology of individuals within the social group and its importance for the development of the individual . It monitors conditions and educational outcomes in terms of educational psychology, dealing with forming properties, opinions, attitudes and value orientation from the perspective of educational psychology.

Design of methods for quantitative empirical identification of socially vulnerable demographic groups and analysis of existing interactions with tax and social benefits and other tools of governmental social policy
Janský, Petr ; Kalíšková, Klára ; Münich, Daniel
This certified methodology describes the designed method for quantitative empirical identification of socially vulnerable demographic groups and analysis of existing interactions with tax and social benefits and other tools of governmental social policy. The methodological approach combines data on households’ incomes with data on households’ expenditures and enables the analysis of the impact of social benefits and direct as well as indirect taxes on income inequality and risk of poverty in the Czech Republic.

The collection of published articles
DVOŘÁK, Petr
The aim of the collection of published articles is to define the requisite social skills of the English language teacher as a part of his/her professional competence, in the context of communicative language teaching in classroom interactions between English teachers and adolescent pupils. The theoretical preliminaries of the research whose findings are presented in the articles are the functional communicative approach to language and communicative language teaching. The attention is paid to the processes of interaction, communication and classroom discourse at school with an emphasis on foreign language teaching. We try to specify social skills of the English teacher and define social-skill aspects of foreign language educational interactions. The findings of the research presented in the articles concern mainly the educational style of English teachers and English teacher's behaviour in particular classroom interactions. The research is also focused on selected social-skill aspects of classroom discourse within communicative language teaching, specifically, pupils' and teachers' initiations of communication, questions, and the distribution of communication opportunities.

Thin films modification by focussed ion beam.
Faltýnek, Petr ; Čechal, Jan (advisor)
The purpouse of the master's thesis is study problematic of focused ion beams and their material influence. In this thesis are described interactions in the sample after impact of ion beam, use and applications of FIB systems. Second part of thesis are simulations of ion influence on different kinds of materials by the help of SRIM program.

Fröhlichův systém s modulovaným přístupem ke zdroji energie
Šrobár, Fedor
Fröhlich model describes coherent vibration modes of polar intracellular entities (e.g. protein molecules or microtubules) that are pumped by ATP hydrolysis and exchange energy with the surroundings. Kinetic equations expressing time change of the quantum oscillator occupancy contain the pumping rate, and the rates of change due to linear and nonlinear interactions with the phonons of the reservoir. These are analyzed supposing that the modal pumping rate is a decreasing function of the mode occupancy.
