Analysis of a Marketing Communication in MF and MOM

The aim of this bachelor's thesis is to analyse and evaluate marketing communication tools, used by the Museum of Photography and Modern Visual Media in Jindřichův Hradec, which the public is addressed by. On the basis of the findings there are recommended possible solutions for the improvement of the communication mix of the certain organization. The thesis suggests another possibility of the use of the Photography festival to make the subject visible.

XIVth Youth symposium on Experimental Solid Mechanics

The Youth Symposium on Experimental Solid Mechanics traditionally brings together young researchers and engineers, students and PhD students, who are actively involved in the experimental solids mechanics, theoretically and practically, in order to exchange their experience, to report on the present state-of-art as well as on running research projects, to discuss due questions and problems and to promote the cooperation among individuals as well as among institutions. The XIVth symposium continues both, the long tradition of this conference series and introduces novel elements. The combination of the experimental mechanics with modern numerical methods was focused. This year, participants from 12 countries attended the symposium. Based on their presentations, 19 papers were selected for the publication in this issue of Acta Polytechnica CTU Proceedings.

Alternative sentences

The Bachelor's thesis deals with alternative sentences in Czech criminal law. The first part focuses on explanation of term and purpose of punishment and alternative sentences, states advantages and disadvantages of alternative sentences and overviews their application. The second part focuses on legislation of chosen kinds of alternative sentences in detail. The last part is constituted by my own research, which concerns of public awareness of alternative sentences and public opinions on them.

Edvard Beneš in public discourse at the turn of the twentyfirst century (instrumental use of example of historical personality in construction of national/state identity)

Author of this thesis concentrates on sample analysis of historical personalities by creation national/state identities. The writer chose the second president of Czechoslovakia Edvard Benes and used him for this case study. On this sample, author examined, whether a picture of certain historical personality is a part of Czech/state identity. Opinions on E. Benes' policy and himself as well have always been contradictory and even nowadays E. Benes is a very often discussed person, as an evidence the author pointed out Parliament vote in Czech Senate in 2004 on E. Benes about his credits. Author watches the opinion on politics and decisionmaking of E. Benes as a view component on national history and collective identity even by different opinions and approaches. Author has in her thesis also concetrated on testimony analysis of two groups of respondents, that on one hand is made by Benes' contemporaries, eyewitnesses of World War 2, and on the other hand by senators, who voted for law: "E. Benes helped to establish the State.", and a part of political respondents are important politicians, who have certain position in relationship with public opinion, because they are very often asked by media. Czechoslovakia and the Nuremberg trials (the Nuremberg trials in the Czechoslovak press)

In my paper "Czechoslovakia and the Nuremberg Trials (the Nuremberg Trials in the Czechoslovak press)" I deal with a formation of the "International Military Tribunal" which was to judge main war criminals who had unleashed the Second World War. It was necessary to inject a new type of criminal responsibility and appoint the criminals. Finally the curt sat for the first time on 20th November 1945. Twenty two war criminals and seven German organizations there accused of four counts of an indictment - conspiracy, crimes against peace, war crimes and crimes against humanity. The huge asset for the Nuremberg Trials had the Czechoslovak delegacy too, because it shared in a formulation of the indictment. The Czechoslovak representatives put a lot of evidence, depositions and documents in the publication called "The Germen crimes against Czechoslovakia". The asset of the lawsuit for the world and Czechoslovakia consists in bringing a warning and edification for the future generations. Furthermore, it laid the principles of the new international legal order and made human life significant again. Influence of technologies on the music industry in terms of music distribution

Diploma thesis deals with the influence of technologies on the music industry in terms of music distribution. In the first part the two major issues are discussed for deeper understanding of the topic. The change of perception and creation of music over certain period of time and the development of technologies related to music in historical context. Following chapters are mainly focused on current technologies, digitalization and the internet, and global turnovers which have had impact on distribution of music as a consequence of technological spread. In addition to this, the issue of legal aspects related to sharing and downloading music via internet is described. The strategies have been created and adopted by the music industry representatives as a response to the situation of increasing intensity of infringing copyright law by unauthorized sharing and decreasing number of physical media sales. The goal of these strategies has been aimed at support expansion of online music services and raising of public copyright awareness. The work analyses and assesses above mentioned strategies and estimates the possible future development of music industry. Assumptions are created on the basis of historical background and current situation. The partial objective is to evaluate whether the sales of physical media have future as a main source of income for music industry or not.

104 Resumé - Summary Institutional Assurance of Environmental Protection in the Czech Republic The main aim of this work is to describe the principles, mechanisms and forms of institutional assurance of environmental protection in the Czech Republic. This thesis covers primarily the public-law institutions with the scope on the organisation of public administration in the area of environmental protection. The work consists of six parts. The first, general part begins with a definition of the term "Environment". This is followed by a description of the function of a state in the area of environmental protection, and means of assuring the protection - for which the state involvement is indispensable. The importance of environmental law is emphasized, and the basic principles of public administration operation are outlined. This part also contains a list of relevant sources of law of the environmental protection institutional assurance in the Czech Republic. The second part focuses on the role of individual government organisations in environmental protection. Described in detail, is the function of the legislative power and the four components of judicial power (civil, criminal, administration, and constitutional justice). The work aims to map the basic organisational structure and changes in Czech Television since its foundation in 1992 until the present, with emphasis on the impact of programming and production of television programmes.
It also seeks to point out the advantages and disadvantages of these structures, depending on the development of media market in the Czech Republic and to define the optimal structure and set up of internal rules for the effective functioning of public media in the current conditions.
