The success of the social enterprise concept in Slovakia

A new instrument of active employment policy -- social enterprise has appeared in Slovakia. This concept is aimed at creating new job vacancies for disadvantaged job applicants. The aim of this work is to focus on the effectiveness of a running project, i. e. efficiency of invested resources, efficiency of new job vacancies creation and to draw any conclusions for continuing social enterprises functioning in Slovakia. The work consists of three parts. The first part monitors the historical concept development and its theoretical basis. The second part describes the functioning of social cooperatives in Italy which tradition lasts the longest and have also become an inspiration for Slovakia. Finally, the third part is dedicated to what is happening in the social enterprises in Slovakia and temporary conclusions of the running project.

The Development of Private Enterprise in China in Context of Political and Economic Changes

The topic of this thesis is the development of private enterprise in China in context of political and economic changes. The first chapter is devoted to the private sector development during last decades and its characteristics. The second chapter focuses on the private sector and its impact on the economy of China. Topics such as GDP or employment are discussed in this part. The end of this chapter shows the growth of Chinese private enterprise in the context of Chinese private companies' growth and the world's billionaires rise in last years. The third chapter looks at the issue from the other perspective. By analyzing yearbooks from world organizations I will find out what problems or obstacles put China to private enterprise to deal with, and also the means how the government promotes private business. The last chapter is devoted to current trends in the private business in China and its future development.

Finding employment of Czech people at the German labour market

The present diploma thesis Finding employment of Czech people at the German labour market consists of two parts. The first deals with free movement of labour in the EU, working migration and approving of professional qualification. The second analyses the possibilities and conditions of enforcing of Czech people to the German labour market before and after 1. 5. 2011. It focuses on statistics of Czech people working in Germany, analyses the barriers restraining Czech people from enforcing to the German labour market and its consequences for both countries.

Employer´s Liability for Damage

This bachelor's thesis goes into an employer's responsibility for damage. The goal is to show, in a concrete instance, further possibilities employers have when dealing with a loss event. A workplace injury was chosen for this thesis. The thesis is divided into a theoretical and a practical part. The theoretical part defines the area of prevention, which includes risk assessment, provision of personal protective equipment, training in the field of health and safety at work, safe work environment or regular checks on workplaces. Furthermore, the responsibility of an employee and an employer for damage under the Labour Code is specified. In this part, two selected areas of labour law in the Czech Republic and Slovakia are compared. The practical part shows the procedure of dealing with a workplace injury in a selected company. This procedure is compared with the law. Further possibilities employers have when dealing with a workplace injury are shown, and sanctions imposed on the employer in the event that it fails to meet its legal obligations are listed. Workplace injury statistics in a selected company and in the Czech Republic are outlined.

Graduate employment record in the field od Production in creative practice also in the realn of Business in pediod 1990-2008

Since 1989 Czechoslovakia and than the Czech Republic had underwent fundamental political, economical and social changes bearing a strong influence at audiovisual production. While in the previous period after 1945 it was the state who held monopoly on audiovisual production, after January 1st 1990 new private companies came to life which tried to participate at the Czech audiovisual market as well as at the international one. That fact radically changed the scope of opportunities offering themselves to film and television professionals. This thessis follows graduates from the FAMU film production studies in the specific period from 1990 to 2008. Based on a wide polling research and on following controlled inteviews, it is possible to reliably assess conditions and opportunities that the new situation in the Czech Republic offers as well as the rate at which graduate students are able to take advantage of them in their professional lives. The results clearly show that almost 100 per cent od film production studies graduates succesfully find their place or employment in the profession. They also show growing numbers of students taking part in study visits abroad and decline in numbers of graduates finding their employment in public sector (formerly state owned) as they find private sector as an more inviting place where they could fulfill their ever-growing professional ambitions as producers. The last fact corresponds with the overall development of the society in our country in the covered period. This work aims at raising general awareness regarding professional opportunities awaiting the FAMU film production studies graduates. Its results should hopefully help new students to find their orientation through the audiovisual world.

Problem of equal opportunities

In my bachelor thesis I deal with the issue of equal opportunities, because I take it that the current period is a kind of milestone in the understanding of a democratic society. And not only in understanding but also in the realization of democratic principles. There are many topics to include equal opportunities, therefore, I focus primarily on gender and women both in society and the labor market or in the education sector. In the first chapter I explain essential concepts and terminology bases important for further understanding of the text. Subsequently, I approximate to the theories of specific forms of discrimination and other parts I focus on the development of women's employment, the division of roles in traditional and contemporary family, career and family and their mutual harmonization of such company with nurseries or by promoting active fatherhood. The aim of this bachelor work is to highlight the shortcomings of Czech society and it is also to offer the possibility of leading to equal opportunities as a basic building article democratic society in the form of various types of condensed time jobs or new management trends such as age management and diversity management.

The Transit Programme in the Jedlicka Institute in Prague

This bachelor paper is engaged in Transit programme, which is realized in Jedlička institute in Prague. Transit programme is service, which occupy by changeover of people from one live stage to other. In that case is target group of this programme students and school-leavers of Jedlička institute in Prague, it means predominately handicapped people. Preliminary this work pay to difficulty of social integration of handicapped people and team which Transit programme put into life. The main part of this paper act with separate process of TP. It describes for example importance of creation personal profile of user TP and process of planning. Followed by bring to attention of employees particular phases of change over, and other services of Transit programme and main principles of this service. The environments and conditions of employment market are described in chapter on employ handicapped people. Their chances and possibilities on open labour market, when this people want be really successful are described in chapter on supported employment. The whole process of Transit programme, which in ideal case end for client with obtaining of valuable working station and exploration of service assisted employment are demonstrated on experiences of factual people in practical part. The relevance of e-learning courses on a labour market

The goal of this bachelor thesis is to determine the competitiveness of electronic courses in the labor market and find out if employers are willing to accept this kind of courses as an advantage while looking for a job. As a deputy of electronic course I chose educational portal Univerzita pre moderné Slovensko, which provides video lectures in subject of economics in the Slovak Republic and worldwide. The theoretical part of the thesis consists of e-learning features, its comparison with the type of face-to-face learning and its forms. The practical part characterises portal Univerzita pre moderné Slovensko and shows the results of questionnaire answerd by the students of the portal and a reaserch among personal agencies, weather the diploma of this electronic portal can be an advantige on the labour market.

Informing employees about terms and conditions of employment contract

The bachelor thesis examines the situation of the statutory obligation to inform about terms and conditions of employment contract regarding both its development and its current legislative state with practical compliance. It analyzes in detail the emergence of this obligation and follows its evolution in the legislative norms. It also includes a summary of points about which the employee should be informed in connection with the creation of employment and a dividing of these according to the statutory announcement time. In the practical part are described the results of work inspections conducted in 2010 focused on the aforesaid obligation. The issue of breaches of the obligation to inform about terms and conditions of employment contract is examined in a questionnaire survey too. Finally also an outline of options solving the non-compliance and circumvention of this obligation is included in the conclusion.

Meaning of the Teaching Assistant at the Elementary School

This study opens the question of the teaching assistant at the mainstream Elementary schools. It is focused on the role of teaching Assistant in respect to the teachers, the representatives of the school management, pupils and teaching assistants it selves. The core theoretical interest of this study is to describe extensively this position deployed in the Czech Republic Educational System through the inclusive education. The empirical part includes the entire philosophy of employment such a position at the chosen mainstream schools. It survey teaching assistant work while using the form with the open questions for the teachers and teaching assistants, semistructured interviews with the representatives of the school management as well as with the pupils with statements of special educational need. The outcome of the master's project comprise all the conceptions of deployment of the teaching assistant into the Elementary schools and brings the evidence of the usage and benefit of this position.
