Steam generator module

The thesis deals with a project of a steam generator heated with liquid sodium. The first section describes some types of steam generators at nuclear power plants which have been projected or put into use. The next part presents a draft concept of the steam generator, solved by this work. The implementation of the steam generator module has been selected from several options, based on the thermal, hydraulic and stress calculations and on the chosen criteria. The conclusion of this thesis deals with the evaluation of the final solution in terms of nuclear safety and technical solutions, and compares this solution to similar projects following various criteria.

Manipulator of Tools, Tool Heads and Tools Holders

The aim of this diploma thesis is to design manipulator for handling tools and tool heads between two tool’s magazines of the two vertical machining centers. One part of this thesis is a proposal of solutions, selection of the optimal choice, its construction and technical calculations of some construction nodes. Other parts of this thesis are technical drawings. The technical drawing of assembly, and two technical drawings of main components.

Air-cinditioning of hotel kitchen

The objective of my thesis was to suggest and size the equipment for a hotel kitchen air-conditioning according to the given parameters. This thesis deals with the calculation of the amount of circulating air, heat loss and profit and the psychometric calculation for summer and winter operation. It also contains the design of air channels, terminal components, air-conditioning unit and ventilation of machine room. Furthermore, it comprises of the suggestion of measurement system and regulation, estimation of energy demand, technical report and list of material items. The calculation is equipped with drawing documentation.

Language Qualification of Economic Students on the Labour Market. Specific patterns of the Euro-region Nisa

The author of this dissertation points out the parallels between language competence of graduates of the bachelor study and the master programmes at the Faculty of Economics of the Technical University in Liberec and their chances on the labour market. The dissertation highlights the significance of foreign language training for the economic graduates living in the euro-region, where the job offer is strongly influenced by foreign investors. The exclusive amount of hours in language teaching certainly increases the attraction of those subjects whose aim is to educate specialists having, on base of their competence of two world languages, better success prospects on the labour marked. The main objective of this thesis was evaluated to existing activities in technical disposition of production. Based on lessons learned to recommend an appropriate information system and propose a methodology for implementation of the company. Design an information system is applied to the company NEDFORM Ltd., which is looking for an information system suitable for the technical dispositon of production. Proposal is based on the actual software and Hardware Company. Part of this work is design to a suitable supplier for the company.

Risk analysis in conformity assesment process

When presenting a product within the so-called regulated sphere the producer is obliged to keep to the given legal liabilities of the technical product requirements and the governmental regulations concerned. The producer is also to carry out an analysis of the technical requirements and specifications of the product. Subsequently, the producer also has to provide the technical specifications and documentation for preparation of ES declaration, guaranteeing that the product fulfills the CE requirements. The task is to design and set up documentation for the ES declaration for Polymount printer cleaning machines PPC mini, PPC M2, PPC L2 and PPC XL2.

Industrial Heritage in Ostrava CityTourism

The aim of the work is to analyze a specific technical monument in Ostrava in the context of its influence on tourism. The chosen monument is an industrial area Dolní Vítkovice which was declared as a national cultural monument and European Heritage and belongs to the Czech Tentative List for inscription on the World Heritage List UNESCO. Theoretical part of this work deals with tourism in the Czech Republic and in Ostrava and also with industrial heritage definition and classification, its restoration, historic preservation and how to integrate industrial heritage into tourism.

Design of telescope

The diploma thesis deals with a design solution of an astronomical mirror telescope, also called Newton reflector on the Dobson Altazimuth mount. The design focuses on the determination of appropriate optic parameters and mounting parameters, on the new styling and shape solution with an emphasis on technical, operational, ergonomic and aesthetic requirements. The main benefit of the design is the simplicity of compilation and decompilation of entire device, intuitive control and safe usage and shape compactness of the whole appliance. I designed the device in the light of the fact that it is used mainly in complete darkness, and the colour solution corresponds to the fact.

Technology Development of Mobile Devices

This thesis is focused on the technology of mobile devices. In the first part I analyse the technical parameters of the mobile device in detail, I mention each parameter and its importance, pitfalls and benefits. The second part is focused on mobile operating systems, especially iOS, Android and Windows Phone. The operating systems are analysed from the perspective of technological complexity, which builds on the analysis of the technology of mobile devices. The third part consists of future prediction. I describe hypothetical future development for both of previous parts of my survey. Approximate future development is mentioned in each chapter of of both first and second parts. The main benefit(contribution) of this work is the compact view on the issue of the technology of mobile devices. It helps reader to make a complex overview of the evolution and possibilities on the current mobile devices market.
