Motivation, flow and procrastination

This bachelor's thesis deals with academic procrastination, study motivation and mental state flow of Czech students in universities in the Czech Republic. The thesis is divided into a theoretical and a practical part. The characteristics of each phenomena and important concepts related to them are located in the theoretical part. On the basis of the theoretical knowledge is written up the practical part, which is based on a questionnaire survey among students. The data obtained from the survey were subjected to the statistical analysis. The results were evaluated and commented. In the conclusion of this thesis there is a recommendation for students.

Kadubec, Václav. Motivation system of pool organization and the possibility of modifying it towards increasing the motivation and loyalty of employees. Brno, 2014. The bachelor thesis deals with the motivation system of the company ABC,a.s. and the possibilities of its improvement. The work consists of a theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part explains the most famous theories on motivation, explains the difference between internal and external motivation and describes selected motivational elements used in the Czech Republic. The practical part describes the current incentive system. Weaknesses of the system are identified by using questionnaires and interviews with key executives of the company. Then the changes in the system are proposed and the economic influence on the company is calculated. The resulting recommendations will be submitted to the company for their needs.
The Motivation of the Students between the 11 - 15 Years in Foreign Langure Teaching

This diploma thesis deals with a second language learners´ motivation at primary schools, particularly its effects on English lessons. At the very beginning it describes the term motivation, all kinds of motivation we can meet with and features which it is composed from. The aim of thesis is to evaluate which types of motivation students find the most stimulating for studying second language, whether intrinsic or extrinsic motivation and its relation with the attitude which learners take towards the second language.
Studies in Secondary Vocational Schools in Point of View of Students

This bachelor work is concerned with student´s motivation for studying and their position for studying at special middle schools. The theoretical part is concentred in describing and dividing motivation, in advancing and cultivating of adolescents´s motivation and adolescents´ choices of future profession. For better understanding there is analysed period of adolescent, socialization, influence of family, school and contemporaries at work. There were set presumptions of student´s motivation and their position for studying for the practical part. Presumptions are verified by experimental explorer, which was a question blank. The question blank has 10 questions divided into two parts. The first part is concentred in discovering the type of student´s motivation. The second part is concentred in discovering the student´s position for studying. The informants were the students of the special middle school at Volyně and Strakonice.
The comparison of productivity of employees in case of using of intrinsic and extrinsic motivation

The thesis is an empirical analysis of the effects of intrinsic, extrinsic and negative motivation on the productivity of operators of erotic lines. In a natural experiment, I influenced the structure and size of incentives of 16 employees, in order to determine the optimal management of human resources in the company TOPIC PRESS. The data were evaluated using a regression model with inclusion of identification strategy diff'in'diff. The results show that the performance of intrinsic and extrinsic motivation significantly reduced the number of SMS messages that operators take per hour of 16.6 % and 16.3 % respectively. On the contrary, negative motivation significantly increased the number of SMS/hour by 18 %, but I suppose only a short-term effectiveness. Influence of motivation on the average number of minutes per hour was not confirmed.
