Positive effects of conjugated linoleic acid on human health

This bachelor thesis deals with the characteristics of the fatty acids, their structure, nomenclature, properties, reactions and analysis. It is also dedicated to the history, sources, effects on human health and the correct ratio of omega-fatty acids in the body. The main issue of this work is conjugated linoleic acid, which is known to its countless positive effects, which can include weight loss and lower level of cholesterol, anticarcinogenic effects, prevention of osteoporosis and arteriosclerosis, etc. The work is focused on its characteristics, structure, occurrence in food, chemical production and a wide range of preparations available on the market. Last but not least, deals with the possibilities of its determinations, including gas chromatography, high performance liquid chromatography, gas chromatography-mass spectrometry, NMR spectroscopy, and combined methods.
The Business Plan for Establishing of Small Company

This thesis deals with the issue of establishing a real and competitive business in the field of not only psychic but also physical health. The foundation of the project is a well-designed business plan. The business will deal with regenerative and nutritional activities through all kinds of exercise, massage, physiotherapy and nutrition counselling, and will serve sportsmen as well as the general public. In the thesis were used well-known analyses such as Porter's Five-Strength ůnalysis, PEST ůnalysis, SWOT ůnalysis and Qualitative Research Survey. The aim of this thesis was to create a business plan that would be competitive and offer services that people are interested in.
Milk and dairy products and their importance in nutrition

This bachelor thesis is engaged in the analysis of the composition of the milk, its creation, origin and source and furthermore it is engaged in the evaluation of the beneficial and harmful properties of milk. Another aspect of this thesis is reasoning about why we should consume milk and whether it is even beneficial to health. In the following part of this work, the literature review is created about about how milk and different products affect human nutrition and the thesis is studying the problematics of milk consumption. The next part of my thesis describes the course of "milk route", which explains what is happening to milk as a raw material, then the technology of production and processing of milk, milk products and semi-finished products and also contains the comparison of my measured data with the standardized data, or the data on the packaging.

Influence of Health Regimen on Immune System

The diploma thesis deals with the influence of lifestyle on the immune system and project-based teaching of the immune system in elementary school biology. The theoretical part is devoted to embedding elementary school biology and topics covering the curriculum of the immune system in curricular documents and literary research of the immune system and related topics with regard to life management and the definition of project teaching. The aim of the practical part was to design, implement and evaluate the project teaching of the immune system, intended for the 8th year of primary school. The teaching evaluation was carried out in two parallel classes of the 8th grade at a selected primary school with a sample of 41 pupils. The goal of the evaluation was to verify the knowledge about the immune system and to find out the subjective evaluation of the implemented teaching for pupils of two eighth grades at a selected elementary school with an interval of two weeks. The data was collected using a pretest and posttest and a questionnaire to determine the subjective evaluation of the project day by the pupils. This thesis focuses on the investigation of nutritional habits and self-concept in active sporting girls. The theoretical part deals with nutrition, the theory of specific nutritional needs in sportsgirls and describes selected factors that influence the perception of their own body by these girls. These factors include nutritional habits, family background, girls' social media activity, and self-bodyimage. This thesis aims to determine the potential occurrence of eating disorders in relation to the mentioned factors. The practical part is designed as a quantitative survey study.

The aim of the bachelor thesis is to provide a comprehensive view on the issue of sow insemination and to summarize the current state of knowledge in this area of agricultural production. The bachelor thesis focuses on the description of insemination and on the zootechnical aspects that influence the insemination of sows. As insemination is the most used method of reproduction nowadays, emphasis is placed on the anatomy and physiology of the reproductive apparatus of the sow. Also described are the zootechnical aspects that affect insemination and how these factors influence it. In the last part of the thesis, the insemination itself and its methods of performance are described, discussing the advantages and disadvantages of insemination, including new options such as the semen capsule and its gradual release or a product to influence ovulation.

The aim of this paper is to introduce the main principles and types of feed in goat nutrition. The main focus of the work is on dairy goat nutrition and the influences on milk production. Goat milk is a raw material whose quality depends on nutrition. In addition to dairy goats, it also deals with feed composition and individual rations. As a result of this work, information on existing goat breeds, feeds suitable and unsuitable for goat nutrition and feed rations are sorted out. The composition of rations depends on several factors. The main distinction is the age of the animal. Baby goats are fed differently from adult goats. Another key factor is the physiological condition of the goats. Other factors influencing goat nutrition include the season, which determines the summer and winter rations. In order for nutrition to be comprehensive and achieve the desired results, all factors must be taken into account.

The bachelor’s thesis Diseases and deaths of dairy cattle calves in the period until weaning describes an overview of the most common diseases of calves from birth to weaning and the causes of their death in this time period. The most common diseases affecting the gastrointestinal tract are septicemic coli infection, diarrhoic syndrome and infectious enterotoxemia. The respiratory system is most often affected by the respiratory syndrome, which as a complex of diseases includes infectious bovine rhinotracheitis, parainfluenza 3, bovine respiratory syncytial virus and pasteurellosis. Calves diseases are affected by various factors that affect their health. Health is conditioned to a large extent by colostral and milk nutrition, the principles of witch are based on we will discuss. If one of the factors affecting health is disturbed, it can have impact on breeding. Practical part with the most common diseases and their treatment in a company in Slovakia. Based on the results, it was found that in the given farm, the morbidity rate is 86.26% of the total number of calves until weaning. The most prevalent were diarrheal diseases 48.07% and respiratory diseases 36.05%. The recommendation is to educate employees about the technological and animal hygiene principles of husbandry.
