European Capital of Culture project and its influence on tourism development in Pilsen and Pilsner region

The bachelor thesis focuses on European Capital of Culture (EcoC) project and its extent of influence on tourism development in Pilsen and Pilsner region. The first chapter looks into the ECoC project. The second chapter focuses on the application for ECoC project that Pilsen sent in 2010, cultural program in Pilsen in 2015, volunteering program and mobile application invented exclusively for Pilsen EcoC 2015. The third chapter studies the extent of success and the turnout in Pilsen and Pilsner region and the changes in numbers of visitors in 2012-2015. The last chapter covers personal evaluation of parts of the project and personal evaluation of the program in 2015. The obtained results lead to certain conclusions and outlines of possible development of culture and development of tourism in Pilsen and Pilsner region.
Comparison of Prerequisites for the Development of Tourism in selected Micro-Regions

The aim of the thesis is comparison of analysis a prerequisites for territorial development in tourism. Analysis is performed in microregiones. Analyzed territory is defined cities Golčův Jeníkov, Chotěboř, Světlá nad Sázavou and Havlíčkův Brod. This objective accomplish these analyzes and mutual comparison localization and realization prerequisites. Then on the basis of SWOT analysis to determine the development strategy. In line with the strategy followed by the design recommendations for the development of territories in the tourism sector.

Support of Tourism Development at the Silk Road

This Bachelor thesis examines the entire important forms of the tourism development support and the support of the theme trails renewal in the Silk Road countries. The theoretical part defines terms theme trail, stibology and cultural tourism. Subsequently, the forms of the tourism support are described and The Silk Road is characterized too. In the following analytical part is analysed the current status of the support focused mainly on the International organizations support. Another researched segment are the Regional organizations and the countries themselves. The quality of the Silk Road support is evaluated afterwards. This part is also supplemented by the possible changes suggestion to the future.
Attractiveness evaluation of cultural and historical monument for the development of tourism: the case study of Děčín castle

The aim of the following thesis is to evaluate attractiveness of Děčín castle and propose some activities that would help with development of the castle. The thesis is conceive as a case study of Děčín castle and detailed to marketing management. At the first part of thesis are defined general basics of tourism with the accent of cultural and historical building, such as castles. The second parts deals with the basic resources of marketing in tourism. In the last part we can find analysis of services in Děčín castle and evaluate attractiveness of particular service. The analysis is based on survey among the visitors, which was realized in summer season 2014. The result shows the biggest hedges of development of castle, and also proposed activities, which can help with development.
The influence of cultural attractiveness for tourism development in region - Castle Velhartice

Main aim of this thesis is to evaluate current state of tourism in a chosen area. Deficiencies of the area and castle Velhartice respectively were found by the field research. Proposals and measures were defined, that would help the area's tourism development. There is hidden potential in the area that should be achieved. The attractiveness of the location would increase.
Impact of an investments co-financed from EU Structural Funds for the development of th rural microregion

The main target of this diploma thesis is to confirm the hypothesis that the project "Ski resort Lipno regional winter sport centre" has an unquestionable and a region wide impact on social and economical development of the municipality Lipno nad Vltavou as well as on the whole micro region Lipensko. Within the assessment of social and economical costs and benefits and based on a set of methods used to evaluate projects of ROP NUTS II Southwest which was also a financial source of this project, it was possible to prove the existence of significant and positive impacts on social and economical development of both municipality Lipno nad Vltavou and the whole micro region Lipensko (new jobs, increase revenue of other tourism subjects in this area etc.). Total social and economic effect of the investment is financially positive. It was confirmed by means of the cost- benefit analysis. Present value (PV) is 330 million CZK, net present value (NPV) of the project is about 133 million CZK. Economic rate of return (ERR) reached 11.47 %, profitability index (NPV/I) reached 0.67 CZK net discounted profit per 1 CZK invested in 8 year payback. All these values are positive and it is possible to state that this project has a great value added and it brings good societal benefits.
Influence of East-Moravian Tourist Authority on tourism development in it´s region

This thesis examines the topic of the management of tourism destinations and the function of destination management companies. This topic is examined on the example of East-Moravian Tourist Authority. The first part is devoted to theory of destination management and marketing and describes the region of Eastern Moravia including characteristic of East-Moravian Tourist Authority. The second part analyzes activities of the company and evaluates the influence on tourism development in the region.
The proposal of tourism development project in selected part of Klatovy region

The main aim of the thesis is to propose a project that would increase attendance and awareness of the selected region Klatovy. To create such a tourism product that would not only enrich the existing tourist attractions in the region, but also attracted the respondents to this area. This product will focus on the personality of a major czech Jaroslav Kvapil, who in the selected area born and raised. The area is rich in cultural attractions, but this potential is not used as much as they could. From this perspective, efforts to expand the range of cultural tourism in the area, as there are many cultural attractions.
The proposal of tourism development project in selected part of Šumava foothills

The project is to build a multifunctional building for tourism development in the area. For this purpose it is necessary reconstruction of the former vicarage and its surroundings. Attractive village center and to create conditions to support the development and management of tourism in the region of Šumava foothills. This is connected with the office building of destination management organizations, information corner (info-) for tourists and space for a small museum exhibition. The project will assist not only the tourists who come to the place, but will also help operators of tourism services in the region and local residents. The purpose of this project is to exploit the potential of tourism in the region for its development. Among these conditions rectory building return to operational status and help to improve the visual view of the village center.
