Construction is a very dynamically developing industry that is placing ever greater demands on the properties of used building materials and structures built on them. In this context, there is a long-term trend to use construction materials made from natural quickly renewable raw materials. These tendencies are caused by natural reaction to the overly technological modern society, as well as efforts towards a greener approach in construction. In this sense, the natural materials from renewable sources means technologically processed organic material of plant origin. Dissertation focuses on the research and subsequent development of filling materials for vertical and horizontal structures based on quickly renewable materials. Pivotal quickly renewable raw material used in the production of filling material is technical hemp. Technical hemp is quickly renewable raw material with very good properties very similar to wood. Furthermore, the research focused on secondary raw materials, which partly replace the binder of the filling material. The resulting filling material has good physical-mechanical and thermo-technical characteristics.

Benková, Sarah ; Holub, Jiří (referee) ; Márová, Ivana (advisor)
Technical hemp as a versatile plant has found applications in many sectors of the industry. In cosmetics, it is mainly used for bioactive substances as well as proteins. The subject of this bachelor thesis was the preparation and characterization of a fraction containing hydrolysed hemp proteins and its use in hair cosmetics. In the theoretical part, the characteristics of the plant as well as its chemical composition are processed. Attention is paid especially to hemp proteins, their hydrolysis possibilities, and the subsequent use of hydrolysates in hair cosmetics. Within the experimental part, the preparation of hemp protein hydrolysates from hempseed cake of the Santhica 70 variety was optimized using the industrial enzymes TS-E 1930 and TS-E 1993 and the subsequent determination of the protein content and profile of prepared hydrolysates. The carbohydrate, chlorophyll, phenolic and flavonoid content of the analysed hydrolysates was also determined. A hair conditioner was prepared from the selected hydrolysate and tested by ten respondents. Thanks to the prepared conditioner, hair cosmetics with the addition of hydrolysed hemp proteins has been shown to enhance shine and pliability of the hair, as well as help the healing of frayed ends.

Cannabis sativa is a versatile herb which is known for several thousand years and contains a variety of active substances. This thesis is focused on the use of some extracts of hem in cosmetics, specifically in hair cosmetics. The first part focuses on the Cannabis sativa, introducing the active contained substances and the overall processing of the plant. In the second part were experimentally determined the active substances in five extracts from different varieties, that were supplied from industry. Extracts were compared based on the extraction yield of antioxidants, chlorophylls, phenolic compounds, flavonoids and cannabinoids. Subsequently, a hair shampoo was prepared with the addition of hemp extracts and hemp hydrolysate. Lastly, the inhibitory effect against microorganisms was monitored for extracts and shampoos finally. Beneficial biologically active substances were detected in hemp extracts, wherein higher levels were measured in ethanol extracts. The extracts were also able to inhibit the growth of certain microorganisms. Satisfactory results on hair were observed with the prepared shampoo.

Pavlištíková, Nela ; Uhlířová, Renata (referee) ; Márová, Ivana (advisor)
Hemp is known as a versatile usable plant with many industrial applications including pharmaceutical industry. The subject of this bachelor's thesis was to characterize the fractions of cannabis produced during its processing and their applications in cosmetics and pharmacy. In the theoretical part the characteristics of the plant, its chemical composition and bioactive substances are worked out. In the experimental part, some metabolites present in hydrolysates of hemp flour and hemp sludge were determined. All fractions were obtained from the Santhica variety. In the samples the content of carbohydrates, lipids, polyphenols, chlorophylls, fatty acid profile, acidity number and iodine number were determined. Furthermore, antimicrobial activity of hemp hydrolysates was tested and fat numbers of the sludge samples were determined. Hemp soaps from hemp sludge and coconut oil were prepared and analysed by sensory tests too. Hemp flour hydrolysate was used in shampoo, which was tested on humans. It was demonstrated that all the materials used were safe and suitable for use. The prepared soaps showed a hydration effect when washing hands. Hemp shampoo application led to smooth and soft hair when washed.

Posoldová, Kateřina ; Fialová, Lenka (referee) ; Němcová, Andrea (advisor)
The main theme of this bachelor’s thesis is technical hemp and its effects on dandruff. Hemp has been a plant known for years not only because of the hallucinogenic substances which it contains, but also those for that are beneficial to our bodies. The theoretical part characterises hemp and the active substances from it. Then the thesis discusses about skin and a condition called dandruff. The next part describes yeast, which is very often occurs in hair skin disease. The practical part involves preparing ethanol extracts from two varieties of hemp, determining the active substances in the prepared extract and cosmetic products with added hemp extract. Extracts and products were tested using the antimicrobial method. The inhibitory effect was studied on representatives of bacteria and yeast.

Kubáčková, Eliška ; Bokrová, Jitka (referee) ; Němcová, Andrea (advisor)
Hemp is unique plant with many therapeutic effects thanks to its large content of substances. This bachelor thesis brings information about characterization of main biological active substances in cannabis sativa, which are described in theoretical part of this thesis and determined in experimental part of this thesis. As a main active substance were determined antioxidants and cannabinoids for which the liquid chromatography method was optimized. This bachelor thesis also describes the antimicrobial effect of active cannabis substances for which it is used in the cosmetic industry. This antimicrobial activity has been studied in terms of the effect against dandruff, which is primarily caused by the high incidence of Malassezia yeasts on the skin of human hair. For the experimental part, the extracts of the technical hemp and more specific varieties of Bialobrzeskie and Finola were tested, which were further used for the preparation of the anti-dandruff shampoo. By analyzing the active substances in hemp extracts, the uniform result was obtained - the highest content of antioxidants and cannabinoids was reached by preparing of extract from dried hemp flowers. In the last part of the thesis, the antimicrobial effect of hemp extracts and prepared hemp shampoos was determined on selected strains of microorganisms and it was observed antimicrobial activity in extracts and shampoos againts Malassezia furfur yeast.

Žáčková, Kristýna ; Kovalčík, Adriána (referee) ; Němcová, Andrea (advisor)
Hemp belongs among important plants with a long industrial tradition. However, its first use was originally for healing. In medicine, it is mainly applied thanks to the content of many biologically active substances, such as cannabinoids. This thesis is concerned with the use of hemp in acne preparations. The theory focuses mainly on the characterization of hemp and its active substances. The other chapters deals with cosmetic preparations and acne itself, and Propionibacterium acnes as well, which is involved. Within the experimental part, the extracts of two hemp varieties (Finola and Bialobrzeskie) were characterized in terms of antioxidant and cannabinoid presence. The cosmetic preparations with hemp extract content were prepared including a complete cleansing set for acne skin, concurrently commercial products of this sort were purchased. In cosmetic preparations and the extracts their inhibitory effect against Propionibacterium acnes was studied as well. Also Micrococcus luteus, Escherichia coli and Candida glabrata were tested. The results show that dried hemp flower extracts contain the greatest amount of active substances, so they have a higher antioxidant and antimicrobial effect. The presence of individual cannabinoids differed mainly depending on the variety. All hemp extracts had effect against gram-positive bacteria, in cosmetic preparations it was lower. Nevertheless hemp antibacterial effect has been proven.
