Purpose of this thesis is to describe causes of current global crisis and evaluate their impact on czech economy. Throughout the thesis are mentioned big economic crises from the past as well as causes of current global crisis. More comprehensive analysis is dedicated to business cooperation between Czech republic and Germany, as its main business partner, and to consequences of crisis to bank and entrepreneurial sector of Czech republic.

This diploma thesis deals with the effects of the global economic and financial crisis on undertakings for collective investment. The theoretical part is devoted to current legislation governing collective investment undertakings for collective investment and typology of individual funds. This part is followed by the definition of the crisis and its different periods, including the impact on the world as well as the Czech economy. In the first part of the practical part is an analysis of the volume of the Funds based on the development of major macro indicators. The second part is an analysis of several selected mutual funds of Raiffeisen banks, managed by Raiffeisen Capital Management.
The Finance Crisis in U.S. and its consequences

The topic of this bachelor thesis "The Finance Crisis in U.S. and its consequences" is to analyze the causes and connections that led to the beginning of U.S. mortgage crisis which has become the global financial crisis. The aim of this thesis is to focus on the causes and consequences of this crisis which influenced the U.S. economy in view of the fact that this situation was caused by Fed's policy to a certain extent. I have chosen this topic because this crisis is today still topical and some states are contending whit this crisis. The introductory theoretical part of the thesis focuses on the characterization of the crisis from a general point of view. The next point is summary of the facts about the important crisis which has influenced U.S. in the past -- Great Depression. The main part of thesis deals with the particular causes and reaction on these ones, the sequential course, solving and consequences of this crisis. The main question of this thesis refers to the end of this crisis -- whether the finance crisis which started in 2007 in U.S. is over or continues. And whether due to this crisis it gets in U.S. to the next bursting of bloated bubble and to the new crisis which will be caused by solving current crisis.
Great Britain – Renegade or Saviour of the European Union?

This work analyses development of economic and politic relationships of Great Britain with the European Communities (EC) and the European Union (EU) since the beginning of European integration till the contemporary debt crisis of the Eurozone. It deals with British European policies before and after Britain's accession to the EC and puts emphasis on British influence over negotiations about the main policies and institutional changes of the EC and EU, as well as on British internal views on European integration, first of all on often misunderstood British euroscepticism. From the analysis of historical and contemporary data author infers not only possible scenarios of the future relationship between the Great Britain and Europe, but also the influence of this member state on the development of the EU.
Position of The United States and China in the global economy after the global financial crisis

Theme of the thesis is the generally discussed decline of Western economies as a result of the passing Global financial crisis and the expected entry of Asia into the forefront of the global economy. Above all, the most affected and weakened U.S. economy losing its superpower status, replaced by economically growing China, whose position in the global economy is being increasingly consolidated. The thesis aims to clarify the situation of both important players in the global economic environment and evaluate the degree of feasibility of the option suggesting that China becomes the world next superpower from relevant perspectives.

This diploma work is about the Great depression in 1930s and the World financial crisis. The aim of this work is to find both identical and different aspects which led to the crises and which could be observed in the course of the crises. Based on word description and analysis of macroeconomic indicators, in the diploma work is compared the pre-crisis situation and development in selected economies during the crises. Special attention is paid to the economic development in Czechoslovakia (Czech Republic).
Impact of the Global Economic Crisis on Export of the Czech republic

The submitted master's thesis analyzes the impact of the global economic crisis on the Czech economy and export of the Czech republic. On the basis of statistical data thesis examines the evolution of basic macroeconomic indicators in the period before the crisis and during an economic downturn, which characterizes the current economy situation in the Czech republic. The work depicts the changes in the state support for exports, the government taken measures and shortcomings in our export policy. The main aim of the work -- in addition to analysis and forecasts of economic developments of the Czech republic -- are recommendations for the creation of New export strategy, evaluation the business environment for Czech export companies, including the main measures to increase competitiveness of the Czech economy.
Comparison of Investment Opportunities in the Collective Investment Funds

Bachelor work describes a comparison of selected funds of collective investments. The theoretical part explains principal of collective investments, describes its progress and introduces institutions dealing with collective investments and kinds of share funds which investors may put their money in. The practical part describes not only the comparison of chosen share funds according to certain criteria but also analyses share fund´s offer and Word financial crises impact on collective investment funds. The aim is to show investors all important criteria while choosing their share fund and to offer them recommendation when choosing their fund.
