This bachelor thesis deals with the construction design of pillar jib crane with lifting capacity 1.300 kg, crane radius 3.000 mm and maximum lift 7.000 mm. The thesis contains design of supporting elements including strength analysis, assembly drawing of pillar jib crane and jib’s detail drawing. The thesis also deals with choice of suitable hoist.
Strain, stress and strength analysis of the high pressure compound vessel by finite element method
Koutský, Jiří ; Suchánek, Miroslav (referee) ; Vrbka, Jan (advisor)
Strength and strain analysis of high pressure compound vessel, which is used to produce superhard materials (for example synthetic diamond). This work was elaborated to compare the stresses and strains calculated by Prof. Jan Vrbka making use of the FEM program ‘Prokop’17 years ago with those gained with the contemporary FEM Ansys program. The vessel is loaded by internal pressure of size 6 GPa. The elastic-plastic material be-haviour is taken into account. Real value of friction between rings and non-uniform temperature field is included into the calculation. The process of assembling the compound vessel is simulated step by step.
Wheel-mounted gantry crane
Hlobil, Jaroslav ; Kašpárek, Jaroslav (referee) ; Pokorný, Přemysl (advisor)
The aim of the present bachelor's thesis is a structural proposed design of a cantilevered frame, and also the structural proposed design of a wheel-mounted gantry crane, wheel-mounted gantry crane which is earmarked for a manipulation with containers on the containers' terminal surface. Additionally, the thesis deals with the proposed design of the prime load-bearing crane's components and with its strength analysis. Eventually, it also shows the mentioned proposed design with essential operational calculations, and the most important part devoted to the drawings' documentation.
Selected designing works on the acid water stripping process
Motyka, Ondřej ; Kilkovský, Bohuslav (referee) ; Jegla, Zdeněk (advisor)
The diploma thesis is focused on selected designing works related to the design of a specific process of acid water stripping. The main purpose of the work is to describe the procedure and the obtained results for these performed design work based on the relevant assignment and the process requirements. In the introductory two chapters, the work focuses on process introduction and description of main process equipment. The following chapters are devoted to the description of the designing works, specifically simulation of the process in CHEMCAD, design calculation of the spiral plate heat exchanger for feed preheating, creation of 3D model and drawing documentation using AutoCAD Plant 3D and lastly strength analysis of the selected pipeline. The main outputs of this work are mainly generated result reports from the process and equipment simulation and strength analysis of the solved pipeline route, 3D model of the process and selected technical and drawing documentation. At the end of the diploma thesis, the performed activities and their outputs are summarized and evaluated.
Traveling Crab 360 t
Sláma, Ondřej ; Kubín, Martin (referee) ; Pokorný, Přemysl (advisor)
The topic of this diploma thesis is the frame of the foundry crane with load capacity 360 t. The frame is analysed by strength inspection and fatigue strength inspection according to norm ČSN EN 13001. The analysis are made by using finite element method on shell model. The diploma thesis was made in cooperation with Královopolská a.s. company.
Skip loader NKR130V
Derka, Lukáš ; Ospalík, Zdeněk (referee) ; Kašpárek, Jaroslav (advisor)
This master’s thesis deals with a strength analysis of the main frame and loading arms of a skip loader. For a calculation of load states is used a dynamic simulation and its results are used as a boundary conditions for the strength analysis using finite element method (FEM). The results of the analysis is evaluated and on theirs basis are designed a construction improvements. The part of the thesis is drawings documentation of the construction improvements.
Rear frame of Forwarder L520
Koumar, Martin ; Klimeš, Pavel (referee) ; Pokorný, Přemysl (advisor)
This master’s thesis deals with strength analysis rear frame of forwarder LVS 520 and propose modifications of this frame. The main part of this work is strength analysis of the supporting frame of the original construction by the help of the finite elements method. Further the design of suitable structural modifications and strength analysis of the modified construction of frame. This master’s thesis has been prepared with Strojírna Novotný s.r.o. company cooperation.
Design of the manure spreader
Pacher, Ján ; Molva, Martin (referee) ; Kašpárek, Jaroslav (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with the structural design of a solid manure spreader and the subsequent strength control of self-supporting construction. The introduction of the work consists of a research analysis of current design solutions of spreaders on the market with similar parameters as in the assignment. Subsequent chapters deal with the conceptual design of the spreader, preparation of the calculation model, suitable replacement of the components and evaluation of the strength analysis itself. The diploma thesis is accompanied by partial drawing documentation. The work was created in cooperation with ZDT Nové Veselí.
Design of walkable bridges for wastewater treatment
Denk, Jakub ; Gottvald, Jakub (referee) ; Nekvasil, Richard (advisor)
This thesis focuses on design of walkable bridges for wastewater treatment plant for the company Váhala a spol. s.r.o. In the first part, there is generally described process of wastewater and technologies, which are used for this treatment the most. In following chapter, there is performed design of walkable bridges, especially supporting frame. Part of the thesis concentrates on strength analysis of the most critical components of construction by finite element method. Static computing is performed according to valid European standards – Eurocode 3. Appendixes includes samples of basic technical drawings.
Stiffness estimation at the machining head and the strength analysis of the moving parts of the machining center MCV 1220.
Zbožínek, Martin ; Houfek, Martin (referee) ; Vrbka, Jan (advisor)
Main objective of the work was to estimate the possibilities and the limits of elementary stress and strain analysis of the construction. At the beginning it was necessary to simplify the problem to the 1-D bar problem. The calculation was performed for three typical loading cases, namely for the middle and the border position of the machining head. The contact forces and momentums and the displacements at the machining head have been calculated. The obtained results were then used for the stiffness evaluation of the construction at the machining head. The strength analysis of the moving parts of the machinig center has been done, too. Modern software products (Autodesk Inventor, ProENGINEER, ANSYS Workbench, Maple, Mathcad, etc.) were used for the calculation. The results were compared with The Finite Element Method results.
