Socially Excluded Localities Of The Region Český Krumlov And Their Problematic Effects

The central concern of this thesis is to examine social excluded localities and most frequent social pathological phenomena, which occur in these localities. These problematic phenomena, such as agression, addiction, prostitution, social pathology related to family, children and adults behavior disorders, unemployment and debts, are reflexed in psychological sense. Special focus is given to Romany people and to psychological aspects of their social exclusion. This paper also focuses on social field work and its issues in psychological sense. Results of work of Social integration agency in largest social excluded locality in the region of Český Krumlov, Větřní, are presented at the end of this thesis.

The aim of the master's thesis is to clarify the concept of open clubs. Basic terms connected to an open club are defined in the first part of the thesis. Spontaneous activities and low-threshold approaches are the most important there. The principle of low-threshold approaches are typical also for other institutions, that are registered in law. It concerns low-threshold centres for children and youth. The origin, development, aiming and activities of these centres are described. The thesis explains open activities for young people offered by different leisure time centres. Also open clubs and Salesian centres offer these activities. The last chapter of this part shows basic differences between an open club and a low-threshold centre for children and youth. The second part of the thesis deals with a detailed analysis of the School Education Programme of a chosen centre carrying on an open club. The aim of the research is to find information about the open club in the document and evaluate the extent and the quality of the discovered details.

This thesis deals with the prevention of youth delinquency in the Czech Republic. The theoretical basis is characteristic of individual in adolescence and system description prevention of youth delinquency. The section devoted to adolescence describes individuals aged 15-18years, describes the psychological and developmental characteristics. An Attention is paid to the causes of youth delinquency. The prevention part explains the theoretical foundations on which is a system of prevention in the Czech Republic. This thesis describes the system and highlights the continuity and consistency between the elements of the system. Special attention is given to prevention at the school and local community. The empirical part is devoted to identifying the opinions and attitudes of the respondents in the area of prevention. The survey used two methods of qualitative research - questionnaires and brainstorming. Analysis of the need for low-treshold facilities for children and youth in Prague 3.

The aim of this thesis is to analyze the need for low-threshold-based social services for children and youth in the locality of Prague 3. In the theoretical part of the study there were defined basic concepts, furthermore, the processes of socialization and individuation with emphasis on the specifics of post-modern times and problems that may occur during the formation of identity were described. Further, against this background there were defined the basic stress situations and possible strategies to deal with it were outlined - generally also as in the context of low-threshold social services for children and youth. The meaning of the theoretical part was to point out the biodromal context of human development, of which the problems can not be taken out and solved separetely, but it is necessary to seek a comprehensive understanding of the situation in which the service user is located. The research includes the comparison of results of the survey in schools and low-threshold clubs, as well as the analysis of interviews with users of the low-threshold facility for children and youth and demographic aspects of the locality of Prague 3. Free time programs for Roma

The bachelor thesis introduces various organizations that deal with the problematics of the Roma ethnic group. It is focused on the contemporary situation of the Roma and for Roma organisations in the Czech Republic, their provided services and the way of their financial support. The work also gives information of the representative organizations which provide mainly free time programs for Roma kids and teenagers and it introduces their particular activities. The essential meaning of streetwork and the institutions focused on the children and teenagers from the socially weak environment is explained here as well. The problematics of Roma children educational proces is also mentioned. The practical part of the thesis concentrates on the Daytime centre for the kids and teenagers in Žďár nad Sázavou. Its contemporary condition and merit of the programmes are evaluated here.
The burnout syndrome in field social work

The work deals with burnout in the field social work. In the first chapter of the theoretical part characterizes the field social work, its objectives, target groups and activities undertaken by social workers. It also describes the stressful aspects associated with the exercise of the profession. The second chapter discusses burnout. This phenomenon here defines, describes risk factors that may affect the syndrome, its typical symptoms, development, and ways to prevent it. The practical part presents the results of a survey aimed at identifying the degree of endangerment field social workers burnout, mapping prevention and finding what they perceive demanding in their profession.
