There are other related topics focusing on runners, such as the physiological basis of training, sports training, fatigue and its regeneration. In the synthetic part, the researched set of runners is selected, namely the twenty best-performing Czech, or more precisely Czechoslovak athletes running medium and long distances. The analysis of the necessary data from athletic tables, yearbooks and other encyclopedic literature is performed for this selected set of runners. Based on the obtained data of individual performances in each year, the largest increase in the performance of each selected runner is statistically evaluated. Data concerning the placement of the runners in the youth categories were also searched. The results will answer the selected scientific questions that can be beneficial for the optimal training strategy in youth training.

The first part is theoretical, in which is further described the finswimming sport, limiting motivational factors affecting children, who are engaged in this sport; and other factors, which during the training process have a motivating effect on the children or, on contrary, demotivate them. The training process is divided into two areas focused on leisure and performance activity. The empirical part of this thesis, within which also deals with this topic research was implemented in the form of a questionnaire method. Motivational factors of children and their coaches were inquired. This work describes the established reality and puts it into context. The results are expressed in graphs. Štemberková, Zuzana ; Bačáková, Radka (advisor) ; Bílý, Milan (referee)
Title: Comparison of training preparation of female speed canoeists in junior and senior age Objectives: The main goal of the work was to compare and analyze the training preparation of female representatives of speed canoeing in junior and senior age based on literary sources and analysis. Methods: This is a research type of work collecting data from the training diaries of speed kayakers and methodological publications and analyzing them. There were 5 female kayakers, representatives in junior and senior age. We used quantitative analysis for data collection. Subsequently, we evaluated the results qualitatively. Results: We managed to compare the values of their diaries with theoretical starting points for all respondents. Some kayakers had a relatively ideal transition from juniors to seniors, while for some, on the contrary, the training volume decreased. For those that did not have a perfect transfer, we managed to figure out the reason why this was so. It was mostly a phenomenon where a kayaker reaches the peak of her career in juniors. Key words: Female kayakers, sports training, training diary, woman's sports, transfer to the adult category, yearlong training cycle

The relationship between selected conditional abilities and performance in white water slalom (category C1).
Busta, Jan ; Suchý, Jiří (advisor) ; Lehnert, Michal (referee) ; Bielik, Viktor (referee)
The aim of the study was to identify the relationship between selected fitness skills and the performance demonstrated in nomination races (NR) to the Czech Republic national team (NT) and for the Olympic Games. At the same time, we wanted to determine the optimal level of conditioning assumptions and define a model single-canoe sportsman. We were also searching to determine the differences between Senior NT and Junior NT. The research sample (n=17) of the Czech highest competitions series (Czech Cup) participated in testing to determine level of strength, endurance and partly speed assumptions. There were also measured anthropometric parameters (body dimensions and composition) in detail. Testing took place only 5 weeks before NR. The condition indicators were subsequently correlated with the NR performance. For indicators for which significant and at least moderate correlation were found, the possibility of performance prediction was also found. The highest correlations with performance were found in case of on-water sprints: 20m (rs=0,65), 40m (rs=0,86, resp. rs=0,62), 80m (rs=0,58) and 200m (rs=0,795). The on-water sprints are the only indicators, which could be possibly used for the NR performance prediction. In multiple regression of the 2 40m and 1 200m sprints was found high determination...
