The open mobile phone platform
Malinčík, Ondrej ; Šteffan, Pavel (referee) ; Macháň, Ladislav (advisor)
The aim of this work is construction of mobile phone which can be build using com- ponents that are widely available. The concept allows control of mobile communication in GSM network on AT commands level. Energy saving is emphasised and alternative power source using solar cell is examined. Manufacturing data and docummentation is available for user.
Heating and domestic hot water preparing in family house using solar collector
Langer, David ; Bečvář, Jaroslav (referee) ; Jaroš, Michal (advisor)
Subject of this banchelor's thesis is to design a solar cell - warm water heating systém, which would be used for heating of water and of a family house. Summary of basic options of alternative resources for heating is included. The assesment of economic backflow, when using solar system in combination with other types of energy systems will be as well covered
Possibilities of Solar Chimney Power Plants
Moravčík, Martin ; Macháček, Jan (referee) ; Procházka, Zdeněk (advisor)
This thesis contains teoretical summary of present situation of problems involved in solar chimneys development. In the first chapter there are mathematical methods for describing the functions of solar chimneys in general. It establishes figures for power output, efficiency, speed of flow inside the chimney and figures for desinging solar chimney. In the next chaper there is a division of solar chimneys and it mainly focuses on describing the solar updraft towers and solar floating chimneys. And marginally it focuses on solar downdraft towers. Next there are possibilities how to use principle of solar chimney for air conditioning and ventilation. In the next chapter it describes the use of solar chimneys, with cogeneration, hydrogen production, in cooling towers and chimneys, and there is also fully described the project in Manzanares. In the fifth chapter it describes the economy of the two comparative projects of solar chimneys, which are at the end economically analyzed and assessed. The last chapter is a summary of the objectives of this thesis, and the subsequent approach is described too and at last there is also evaluation of solar chimneys and the conclusion of this thesis.
Project of solar cell warm-water heating system for family house heat-water-supply.
Číp, Vojtěch ; Kermes, Vít (referee) ; Novotný, Pavel (advisor)
Subject of these work is project of solar cell warm-water heating system for family house heat-water-supply. Summary of basic improvement solar energy is included. There have been several possilble variants for water heating in house. Examination economic return after instalation solar system will be compare for these individual manners of heating.
Solar energy storage
Řehák, Pavel ; Pospíšil, Jiří (referee) ; Poláčik, Ján (advisor)
This thesis aims to find solution that deals with excess energy produced by solar systems. Main point in this Bachelor's thesis is to solve off-grid solar power system that is completely self-sufficient. Introduction examines how solar panels works and the best weather conditions of operating. Analytics part of this thesis focuses on basic information about types of power accumulation with their advantages and disadvantages. Practical part proposes system used and also mathematical solution of solar system.
Use of solar energy in CR
Krištofík, František ; Novotný, Jan (referee) ; Matoušek, Antonín (advisor)
The work deals with the use of solar energy as one of renewable energy sources, hence the possible successors to fossil fuels in the energy future, present, looking at solar energy and its energy position in the world today. It addresses the possible advantages and disadvantages of using solar energy. It brings thoughts of the ecological and economics and suggest possible compromises. Next part is focused on the use of the climatic conditions of the Czech Republic and compares the efficiency of solar collectors and photovoltaic panels.
Model of a lighthouse with photovoltaic power
Dvořák, Adam ; Vyroubal, Petr (referee) ; Jandová, Kristýna (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to aquire and present the knowledge about the principles of the photovoltaic effect and panels and then discuss a theoretical analysis about these two topics. Task of the second part in this project is to design a theoretical model of a lighthouse, using pieces of information about photovoltaics which were acquired from the first part. And in the end physicaly realize designed model. In order to reach the best possible level of effectivity over the whole year, correct planning of the orientation and angle of placement while taking into consideration the movement of the sun is required before positioning the photovoltac panels.
History and development of czech power plant
PAVLOVSKÁ, Amalie
The main aim of the work was to understand the complex and demanding path in the development of energy and power engineering in the Czech lands from the end of the 19th century to the present. The introduction generally outlines the intention to briefly exclude the key moments that affected our energy. The next sections first describe the historical individual periods in which the power plants were built on the basis of certain conditions. Then I deal in detail with the most frequently used types of power plants in the Czech Republic with more emphasis on one of the modern technologies of the Temelín Nuclear Power Plant. The last larger chapter is a reflection on the possible development of energy in the future.
Astronomical grounds of calendars in different historical periods and cultures
Hrůšová, Lucie ; Šolc, Martin (advisor) ; Wolf, Marek (referee)
The main goal of this work is to describe calendars of various countries, and that both calendars, which are used until these days, and calendars of perished civilizations or calendars, which were abandoned by their users because during ages they had preferred another calendar. This work is for everyone, who would like to be informed, how our calendar was originated, why he contains some things which are illogical from our point of view such as the irregularity of the length of months. It also tries to show the way how the calendars were created, how they were refinement, but also that the calendar we use most, the Gregorian calendar, is not still perfect. First chapter wants to explain to reader, what is the lunar, solar and lunisolar calendar. In second chapter are described calendars of the eldest known Mediterranean civilizations in the context of antique literary creation. Third chapter is dedicated to the world's most widespread Gregorian calendar, the circumstances of his rise by correcting the Julian calendar, about his acceptance in world and about the lunar point in this otherwise solar calendar, namely the calculation of Easter. The fourth chapter is dealing with the newer calendars, which was tried to enter into force by revolutionary minded persons. And the last, the fifth, chapter is...
