Proposal on the optimal basketball training method within the physical education of children in older school age

Title: Proposal on the optimal basketball training method within the physical education of children in older school age Author: Josef Růžička The study aims to find optimal theoretical model of basketball training method within the course of physical education at primary schools and general secondary schools. We focus on children in older school age. The objective is to make basketball training more effective as well as more familiar to teachers that are lacking more complex or personal experience with this sport. We use the method of experiment. First, the numbers of testing exercises to detect the level of general game skills of the children were defined. Then the model of teaching method consisting of ten setting-up (introductory) exercises was developed and implemented into a complete semestral plan. At the beginning of experiment, two groups of children were tested for their general game skills. Then our proposed model was applied onto these two groups. We aimed to develop model of teaching that would help to improve and develop basketball skills of children. At the end of experiment period were children's basketball game skills tested again to see what extend was our proposed model successful. Topic: Presence and efficiency of three-points shooting attempts reliant on perimeter prolongation (in Czech Women basketball League) Aim: The aim of my bachelor's thesis to find out frequency and success rate of 3-points shots in two following seasons in Woman Basketball league (ŽBL) during basic parts of these two seasons. In the first season was perimeter prolongation introduced. On the basis of statistical survey follows comparison of these results. Primary aim is creating statistical analysis, which should show the influence of perimeter prolongation to 3-points shooting among teams in Woman Basketball league (ŽBL). Methods: Taking into consideration quantitative survey, my dissertation work was based on methods of secondary information collecting, that implies (which means) secondary statistical analysis and observation with taking records down. Topic: Comparison of three-point shoot trials occurence and effectivity in the aspects of FIBA rule changes in 2010 as well as in a relation with placement of the teams in Czech Women's basketball league Aim: The main aim of the thesis is to find out whether the following four- year-period as a result of rule changes applying to an extension of three- point line was sufficient enough to be able to adapt from the frequency and success in three-point shoot of view in the highest Czech Women's basketball league in the basic part of the Championship in between the selected teams. We take into account eight surveyed seasons in this study, where straight after the period of first four seasons following one after another there was a rule of three-point line extention established. The statistics of three-point shoots in the four seasons mentioned above, which means after establishing the rule, are the main source of data used for this survey and was accomplished according to statistical results and comparing these results. The mail goal is to create statistical analysis that would show how great impact the three-point line extention had during following four seasons of the change, which means the adaptability process applied for three- point shooting within the teams placed in the first, fourth, seventh...
The effect of the place of the match on the shooting success in handball.

Title: The effect of the place of the match on the shooting success in handball. Objectives: The main objective of this work is to find out whether the place where the match is taking place affects the shooting success from individual player areas, and also the overall shooting success of the selected team. Another objective was to find out whether the place has got an effect on the result of the match. Methods: For data collection we used the methods of direct observation, indirect observation and analytical method in our work. The results were processed using the Mann Whitney test, Wilcoxon test and Mc Nemar test. Results: We found out that the place at which the match is taking place does not affect the overall percentage success rate of shooting of the selected team. Also it was not statistically proved, that the place affects the percentage success rate of shooting even from one of the basic areas of player functions for the attack. Title: Psychological preparation in sport shooting Objectives: The objective of this thesis is usage of psychological preparation by sport shooting representation team in Czech Republic. How they are informed about psychological preparation. What it means to them. Which types of regulation they use and how they behave before and after a competition. Methods: A Questionnaire was used as a method for data obtaining. The questionnaire was compiled for the purposes of this Thesis. The researched group contained sport shooting athletes from Czech Republic representation team. Results: The results of the research showed that sport shooters think the psychological preparation is very useful. Unfortunately only half of respondents use it. Teaching basketball in physical education classes in primary schools

This thesis on Teaching basketball in physical education classes in primary schools deals with mapping the conditions for teaching basketball at five elementary schools and, furthermore, it deals with finding the level of basketball skills of the pupils. The aim of this thesis, based on research, is to find out whether it is possible for elementary school pupils to significantly improve in their basketball skills during physical education classes and whether such an improvement can arouse their deeper interest in this sport.The theoretical part focuses on the explanation and clarification of the basic terms and characteristics of the age group of 6 - 11 year old pupils. The research part describes the tests which were selected based on consultation with basketball experts. Additionally, it describes the conditions under which testing of pupils was undertaken.
