Fairy-Tale Narratives in Dramas and Prose Fiction of Iva Peřinová

The following work from the field of czech literature for children will be focused on the interpretation of the literaty piece of work by writer Iva Peřinová. The first concentrates on the specifics of the motives and themes, refering to the standard puppet play and fairy-tails model. The second part of the thesis observes the poetics of Peřinova's fairy tails, paying a special attention to her narrative stragies, the way of the construction of the fairy tail characters and to the regularities of the composition. The puppet and its metamorphosis in the Czech folk culture

This thesis focuses on the phenomenon of a puppet, the transformation of its function, the typology of puppets and the technological process of its production, especially in the Czech folk culture. It also monitors the development of a puppet from its beginnings until present days not only in the Czech environment, but in the European context too. Besides it describes typical characters portrayed by a puppet, the symbolism of a puppet and themes of the plays of the puppet theatre related to puppets in Bohemia. It also notices professions connected to the puppet - puppetry and carving. It also tries at insight on the understanding of puppet and puppet theatre currently in the Czech environment.
Theatre "Minor" From The Year 1989 Up to Present

Theatre "Minor" From The Year 1989 Up To Present (Changes In a Staging Style) This thesis concerns itself with the Minor Theatre after the year 1989, namely with changes in a staging style of this prague platform that focuses mainly on a production for the child audience. In the production of the theatres principal directors (Karel Makonj, Jan Jirků, David Drábek, Jiří Adámek) we can observe distinctive courses of staging methods, that shape the Minor's character. The primary aim of this thesis is to attempt to reflect these staging courses and demonstrate them using profile plays. An excursus into the history of the Minor Theatre precedes these analyses to define its character. Biographies of the said directors are also included in the thesis, as well as the list of theatre's plays form 1990 (with the dates of premieres) and photographic material ilustrating the theatricals analysed here.

The use of hand-puppet theatre in the kindergarten for development of prosocial behaviour

The thesis solves problems of aggressive behavior in children of preschool age. It is aimed at strengthening social behavior by playing puppet theater in kindergarten. The main goal is to show the concrete examples and see how metaphoric demonstration of different types and modes of behavior may be through a puppet theater with their reflections perfect training and educational tool for developing and strengthening social relations in kindergarten. The theoretical part focuses on the definition of basic concepts such as expression, reflection, prosocial behavior, social behavior, preschool child, the role of teacher. The research part, in qualitative research, case studies are carried out, which are populated with data obtained by participating long-term observation of the author's work
The possibilities of promotion, presentation and preservation of the cultural feature „Czech puppetry – folk interpretational art“

This thesis reflects the history and contemporary changes of Czech and Slovak puppetry and presents Czech and Slovak legislative framework preceding the inscription of the element on the Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity UNESCO. The practical part analyses the process of preparation and implementation of recognition of traditional puppetry as an intangible cultural heritage in the Czech and Slovak Republics and maps the joint efforts of these countries to inscribe the phenomenon on the Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. Based on a questionnaire survey among viewers of puppet performances, puppeteers and general public, thesis outlines possible impacts of the eventual inscription of this element at the social, cultural and economic level.

This thesis deals with the acting, directing and authorial personality of Vitezslav Marcik. The text was based on researches in regional and national press and sorting by that time disarranged Marcik?s archive. An important source of information was the website of Teatr Viti Marcika and also personal recollections of family and colleagues. The main part of the work is clear, chronological account of Marcik?s career in 20 chapters, in which we watch changes of the theatre´s action radius in the course of years and how its repertoire and dramaturgy developed.
