Evaluation of the short-term effect of physiotherapeutic techniques on spasticity in patients with spinal cord injury
Špačková, Anežka ; Hlinková, Zuzana (advisor) ; Kříž, Jiří (referee)
The subject of this thesis is spasticity in individuals with spinal lesions. The aim is to evaluate and compare a short-term effect of selected physio-therapeutic methods on spasticity of lower limbs in spinal patients. Two methods of comparison were chosen - passive stretching and the Vojta's reflex therapy. The work consists of two parts. The theoretical part describes the problems of spinal lesions, central motoneuron syndrome and spasticity, including its pathophysiology and investigation and therapeutic approaches. The practical part contains an attempt to verify and subsequently compare the immediate antispastic effect of the chosen methods, which is an important prerequisite for the following active exercises as an inseparable part of a physiotherapeutic exercise unit. Clinical evaluation scales are used to evaluate spasticity, namely Modified Ashworth Scale (MAS) and Muscle Excitability Scale (MES). The results are then compared with other studies and literature. Stretching and the Maximal Muscle Strength
Šádek, Petr ; Konopková, Renata (advisor) ; Otáhal, Jakub (referee)
Title: The effect of stretching on maximal muscle performance Objectives: Due to the number of studies, concerning the effect of the muscle stretch on sport performance and their heterogeneity in the term of used parameters, tests and even performing the stretch exercises themselves, it would be desirable, thanks to the importance of this subject, to consolide and evaluate up-to-date knowledge. The goal of this diploma thesis is to compare and assess available literature concerning the effect of muscle stretch during warmup on the sport performance and, ideally, to define the best type of the stretching itself. Method: The diploma thesis is composed as a literature review - an integrative review with exactly defined criteria for the use of available studies. Result : Even with the nonuniformity of parameters used in available studies there is a consensus in most of the used sources, which met the criteria of inclusion in this research, which (the consensus) determinates the dynamic stretching as the form most appropriate for enhancing the following sport performance. Although studies, proving this result, are in their findings quite unanimous, a precise definition of prefered exercises for peforming the dynamic stretching and of its parameters is still missing. Key words: stretching, dynamic,...
Muscle dysbalancies and oportunity their correction
Křivohlávek, Jakub ; Bunc, Václav (advisor) ; Hráský, Pavel (referee)
Title: The muscular unbalance and the opportunity of their correction Goals: To create the summary of the muscular unbalance and the proceeding disorder of the postural system and the current methods of their reduction. To form the set of the exercises intended for the wide number of population to lead to the correction of the muscular unbalance and to the improvement of the conditions of the motion system. Method: The analysis of the literary resources and their comparison Results: Muscular unbalance is divided into three basic areas that they have fundamental influence on the poor posture. We evaluate the posture and the condition of the muscular tension and the strength as the methods of discovering of the condition of the motion system. To improve this condition we use the methods concerning the equalization of the muscular unbalance. We have found that the improvement is only possible when the set of the exercises contains the stretching and strengthening exercises supplemented with the breathing exercises and with the practice of the proper motion stereotypes. Key words: posture, motion system, exercise, stretching, strengthening
Technology of emitter production
Šrotíř, Petr ; Císařová, Michaela (referee) ; Dvořák, Milan (advisor)
The goal of this bachelor thesis is to compare the technologies of production of given workpiece using the technology of spinning and deep drawing. The object of this project is an emitter and is supposed to be made of sheet metal. The workpiece will be deep drawn in the experimental drawing tool. An economic review by production of 1000 pieces will be worked out at the end of the bachelor thesis.
Modern methods in spur gearing production.
Kopečný, Libor ; Zemčík, Oskar (referee) ; Zemčík, Oskar (advisor)
The division and comparison of modern methods of production of spur gearings. The introduction is focused on the characteristics and description of cog wheels. Furthermore, the types of gearing and gear mechanisms are introduced. The main part of the text deals with individual ways of a production of spur gearings including finishing methods. The following part of this work describes the importance and possibilities of heat and chemical-heat gearing production. In the last chapters, the evaluation and achieved results of individual technologies of gearing production are introduced.
Description of gear-producing machines
Kafka, Lukáš ; Holub, Michal (referee) ; Blecha, Petr (advisor)
The object of the bachelor work is to create a research in part of gear producing machines work with profile implement. The project outset is concerned with requirement of gear machines and gears. The second part describes individual machines and technology of gear producing . In the end of work are summarize evolutionary trends gear machines.
Collection of "stretching sets" of aerobics lesson.
CIRHAN, Ondřej
The aim of this graduation thesis is to propose stretching sets to aerobics lessons. The various stretching exercises were selected from scientific literature. Application of the stretching program lasted six weeks, while before and after application of stretching sets were tested flexibility and the range of movement to verify the effectiveness of the program. The tests included four exercises to verify the status of the problematic muscles and joints. The whole stretching program was among others focused on these problematic parts. The research was applied to the selective aerobics lessons.
