This bachelor thesis focuses on the evaluation of the financial situation of the selected company Nové Vinařství, a.s. and proposals for its improvement over the period 2013-2017. In the first half of the thesis, the theoretical part will be elaborated, focusing on specific methods of financial analysis applied in the practical part. Another part of the thesis deals with the analysis of the current state of the selected company. The final chapter will propose measures to improve the financial situation of the company.

This thesis aims to evaluate the financial situation of the company KALÁB - construction company, Ltd. and to make suggestions for its improvement. The company engages in construction and development activities. It is a renowned company that has a well established position in the market. The thesis contains an analysis of the status quo, which is the basis of proposals for improvements for the future. The aim of the thesis is to identify weaknesses and find methods that will eliminate these defects in the future.

The thesis is focused on the analysis of SAKO Brno, Inc. in the financial terms in the years 2012 - 2015. The theoretical part explains the basic concepts of financial analysis and the methods and procedures for the implementation of financial analysis. In the next part the data are evaluated and compared to those of competing companies. On the basis of these results the proposals for improving the current economic situations are also formulated.

The Bachelor´s thesis assesses the financial situation of the company AGRI CS, a.s. through support information sources and chosen indicators of financial analysis. In the introductory part is presented the chosen methodology for the assessment of the financial situations of the company which is applied in the practical assessment of the financial health of the company. Based on the results of the financial analysis are defined weaknesses in the management of the company. Goal is to define a set of measures to improve the current situation of the company.
