Péče o mláďata hospodářských zvířat v ekologickém chovu
Hledíková, Jana
This bachelor thesis deals with breeding of the young farm animals in organic farming. At first, the legislation related to the ecological system of farming is mentioned. Furthermore, objectives and rules of organic production follow. The principles of organic animal husbandry are described in more detail. The next part is devoted to specific types of farm animals, namely cattle, sheep, goats and pigs. The important aspects of rearing of the youngs, specifically housing, nutrition of females and youngs and weaning, are described in these livestock. Afterwards the comparison of organic and conventional farming system is made.
Výživa moderných genotypov prasiatok
Mišenková, Veronika
Pig Breeding is the important element of the economic sector. The production of the pork and production of the piglets are the most important. The pork is a biologically valuable nutrient for the human population. Purposeful nutrition, right feed technique and good health are decesive factors in the efficiency of the Pig Breeding. These factors directly affect reproductive indicators (number of live-born piglets, number of weaned piglets per sow/year). Every company, which uses the closed turnover of herd, have got two separated sectors, so fattening pigs and production of piglets. The economic objective of the company is making a profit. This Bachelor thesis is focused on nutrition of modern piglets genotypes. In the first part the thesis shows the current number of pigs in the Czech republic, Slovak republic and the European Union. In the second part it describes in details the anatomical structure and physiological function of the gastrointestinal tract. The gastrointestinal tract is composed of oral cavity, pharynx, esophagus, stomach, intestine and endocrine glands. Every part of the gastrointestinal tract has mechanical or chemical function in process of metabolism. In the third part it describes feed groups used in pig nutrition. The include feed: cereals, leguminous plants, feed from the fat industry, feed from the oil industry and feed of animal origin. In the fourth part it discusses about feed technique of piglets, feed technique of pregnant sows and feed technique of lactating sows. Each category of pigs has its own specific feed requirements, that is the amount of individual ingredients. Then it deals with losses of piglets in the prenatal period and the postnatal period, possibilities of their elimination and influence of nutrition. In conclusion, the knowledge and their practical application are summarized.
Prudukčná úžitkovosť prasiat a faktory na ňu pôsobiace
Szabóová, Edina
The bachelor thesis focuses on the production efficiency of pigs and the factors affecting it. The beginning of this work is focused on the importance of pig farming, the importance of this sector and the level of production in Czech Republic. This chapter is substantiated by current data on the amount of pigs intended for slaughter. In the next part the production performance is described, with a focus on fattening capacity and carcass value. The issue of the production of animal products has a solid place in the development of the economy. That is why it is necessary to mention the endogenous and exogenous factors that can positively or negatively affect pigs and thus influence the profitability of the farming. The last chapter of the bachelor thesis contains the description of fattening capacity in the conditions of a small farm. This literature search offers a range of information in one place, with the aim of providing a comprehensive picture of the issue of pigs production performance.

Vyhodnocení výrobní měrné emise skleníkových a zátěžových plynů z vybraného chovu prasat
PROKOP, Tomáš
The aim of this final diploma thesis is to evaluate the production specific emission of greenhouse and load gases from selected pig breeding located in Hodětín near Bechyně, South Bohemian Region. The work focuses on the breeding hall, where the pregnant sows and the nursing sows including piglets are located separately. A total of 6 measurements were carried out, which are further compared with each other and with the latest edition of the reference document BREF. The thesis answers the questions and the selected farm is evaluated according to the principles of "Good Agricultural Practice" according to the available BAT techniques listed in the BREF reference document. The season plays a role in assessing and evaluating individual measurements. In winter, ammonia concentration is higher due to less frequent ventilation, causing low temperature and high humidity in the breeding hall. These two basic aspects are described and it is explained why this is the case and why workers approach this solution to the situation. In conclusion, there are methods and recommendations to contribute to lower emissions in selected pig breeding.
Laterality in social and locomotory behaviour of domestic pigs (Sus scrofa f. domestica)
Kunclová, Kristýna ; Špinka, Marek (advisor) ; Nekovářová, Tereza (referee)
The aim of this diploma thesis is to find out whether pigs exhibit laterality in social behavior, especially the laterality of rotational movements in game behavior and social interactions. We aimed also to explore how this laterality is influenced by other factors, especially the possibilities of playful behavior in ontogenesis, personality and others social and non-social factors. Alternatively, whether the degree of laterality determined varies depending on the social situation (game / aggression) and whether is influenced by the litter. I have investigated this behavior for 64 pigs in 16 litters from videotapes of their social behavior. For each pig, I recorded the playing element and the preferential side. For individual game elements I did not find any preference for rotation at the population level and only a slight tendency for individual laterality. For social game elements, I have shown a weak population tendency to prefer left side, but only for a group of more playing pigs. The main contribution of this work is the symmetry found in the implementation of individual game elements and, on the contrary, the observed laterality at the population level for social game behavior. Since the laterality of playful behavior has not yet been investigated, it is possible that this symmetry is...
Vyhodnocení vlivu druhové a plemenné příslušnosti hospodářských zvířat na sílu svalových vláken
Lorencová, Martina
The aim of this master thesis on the topic of: Evaluation of the effects of breeding and species belonging to livestock on the strength of the muscle fibers was to establish the influence of factors (breeding and species affiliation, sex, age at the time of slaughter, carcass weight, net gain, etc.) on the strength of the muscle fibres in these species of animals: cattle, pigs, rams, poultry, pheasants. The thinnest muscle fibers are measured by rams. Significantly (p <0.01) higher value diameter of muscle fibers should slaughter roosters, followed by pheasants and cattle. The strongest fiber (p <0.01) had slaughter pigs. The results show that pork is the observed species grossest muscle structure, while the finest muscle structure and thus have the finest meat rams. Significant influence on the strength of muscle fibers in most studied species of livestock should carcase weight and age at the time of slaughter. The strength fibers with age and carcass weight increased significantly.
Vyhodnocení reprodukčních ukazatelů u otcovských a mateřských plemen prasat se zaměřením na efekt superplodné linie
Válek, Libor
The aim was to analyze the reproductive traits in pig breeds CBU, CL, BO, D and H 84 pedigree breeding. The monitored parameters and the number of live born piglets, a number of surviving piglets, sows milk production, the length of the interim period, the number of litters per sow per year pregnancy rate. For super fertile lines (SPL) and the evaluation of the number of piglets born alive per sow, birth weight, meantime, serenity litter. Evaluation of reproductive performance in boars according to the breed. I analyzed the percentage of gestation and production of piglets, and all live births. It also monitored the birth weight of piglets depending on the gender of a boar. The obtained data were analyzed by appropriate mathematical - statistical methods. For maternal breed pigs CBU was better parametrs at all piglets born in a litter of 3.5 pc, at 1.7 live births pieces of litter and preserved 1.3 pieces per litter. In parameter milking, the difference was 2.8 kg. Results after the first pregnancy rates were the best Insemination of sows CBU and 87.3%. For super fertile lines sows were better results in all (2,1pc) and live (1,3pc) born piglets and uniformity of litter (0.7%) for sows CBU. CBU breed had the highest percentage of death13.7%, the lowest percentage of paternal breed White11%. For CBU was the best of breed boar Insemination boar EDL with 23 straight 100%. Most of all, and that 17.4 pc of live piglets and 15.4 pc were born piglets after boars DSU 21st among boars maternal breed in the results were successful pregnancy rates boars breed CL with 89.38%. For CBU breed male pigs had the highest weight after 45 boars BTK (1.52 kg) in gilts and boars after FMB 46 (1.54 kilograms). In boars breed CL had the highest average weight for male pigs (1.99 kg) over 33 AGC boars and gilts (1.77) kg after boars EJR 27th best results for piglets breed Duroc boar has EDG 21a to 1.91 kg in male pigs and 1, 71 kg in gilts. After H84-158 boars are male pigs weighing at 2.46 kg and 1.9 kg gilts. Evaluating the impact of boars on the weight of piglets born alive. It showed a statistically significant difference for birth weight of male pigs and gilts. Weights were found statistically significant differences at levels of signifikance.
