Suggestions of Science Excursions around Jeseníky Mountains Area for Students of Secondary School and its Use in Practical Teaching

This diploma thesis is concerned with the topic of natural science field trips in the given region. The Eastern Sudetes are like a lost pearl hidden behind a ring of Mountains - but, despite this fact, the area deserves much greater attention than it currently receives. For each of the natural science areas, the Eastern Sudetes region offers several variants to organize excursions appropriate for primary school (as well as secondary school) students. The goal of the first part of the thesis is to introduce the Eastern Sudetes in a way, which is comprehensible and easy to work with for primary school teachers in the region, as well as teachers in the Czech Republic, and to suggest it as a suitable destination for the organization of natural science excursions and field trips. This part also includes the perspectives of local teachers and their views on the utilization of the area for such trips. On top of a list of recommended locations fit for visits with students, the second part of this thesis provides suggestions for specific natural science excursions together with worksheets and further ideas, suggested teaching aids, and proposed activities that could beundertaken with students at noteworthy locations in the Eastern Sudetes. Increasing elementary science experiments' inquiry potential

This bachelor thesis deals with the issue of research-based teaching and its application in chemistry education. In the theoretical part, the division, meaning and position of the framework curriculum in primary schools is presented. The next part deals with inquiry- based teaching, its definition, advantages and disadvantages that it can bring to chemistry teaching and education in general. The paper then focuses on motivation, its types, how it can be used in teaching and the factors affecting motivation. In the practical part, the findings from the previous chapters are used to develop two worksheets to support inquiry- based activities. They are designed to make it as easy as possible for pupils to understand the material themselves. The two worksheets are divided into two parts. The first is for the teacher, divided into several sections to make it easy to understand the teacher's necessary preparation for the lesson and the procedures and outcomes expected of the pupils. There is also a section of hints, called 'tip-cards', to help pupils if they get lost in the process. The second part is for pupils. The thesis is divided into two parts - theoretical and practical. Further, literary genre preferred by the author, target groups and selected methods of her work incl. texts used in practical parts, are described. The theoretical part of the bachelor thesis concerns romanesque architecture in christian Europe, mainly that on the territory of the Czech Republic. Further, this thesis introduces the church of st. Peter and Paul in Hosín, which hides a small romanesque church with gothic wall paintings inside, the church of st. Jacob in Jakub near Kutná Hora, which is known for it's unique relief decoration at the south frontage and the rotund of st. George and Adalbert on mount Říp. The second part of the theoretical thesis centers on worksheets. It mainly focuses on their importance in art education and on the form of functional worksheets. The practical part of the thesis consists of the creation of worksheets suitable for second grade of primary school on the topic of romanesque architecture and the church of st. Peter and Paul in Hosín.
Preparation of Didactic Materials for Teaching First Aid at Elementary Schools

This diploma thesis deals with the issue of first aid education at the second stage of elementary schools. The aim of the thesis was to create a set of tasks that the teacher can use as a part of the students' independent work during the time when the teacher is working with other students during practical training. The first part of the thesis contains a general overview of the importance of first aid, the integration of first aid in curricular documents at elementary schools and the possibilities of teaching first aid, including organizational forms, methods and didactic tools for teaching first aid in schools. The second part deals with the creation of worksheets with tasks and their evaluation. A total of 9 different types of tasks were created in 4 variants, which were then grouped into 4 worksheets. The assessment of the applicability of the tasks in practice was carried out in the form of an evaluation questionnaire, in terms of comprehensibility, difficulty and entertainment. The results show that the created tasks meet the above-mentioned characteristics at an appropriate level - the pupils rated them as comprehensible, reasonably challenging and entertaining. Suggestion and verification of distance education in the school club during the Covid-19 pandemic

The presented thesis focuses on the issue of distance learning in after-school care during the coronavirus crisis. The theoretical part deals with the topics of after-school care, a younger school age child, as well as the issue of the coronavirus crisis and distance learning. There is also a theoretical foundation for the creation of worksheets, which are the main goal of the diploma thesis. The second goal of the thesis is to create methodical sheets for educators. The third goal is to verify the comprehensibility, functionality and usability of the submitted materials. The practical part of the thesis is based on the creation of worksheets and methodical sheets. These created materials were then further subjected to research. With the help of a questionnaire survey focused on educators, the functionality and usability of worksheets and methodical sheets during distance and full-time teaching were determined. To find clarity, a simpler type of feedback questionnaire was proposed for a group of younger school-age children at the end of each worksheet. The results of the questionnaire survey showed that worksheets for children of younger school age are comprehensible. According to the addressed educators, worksheets are also usable and functional both in distance teaching and in the activities of the after-school club. The worksheets and methodical sheets created can benefit other educators and can serve as inspiration for their further work.

The theoretical part presents the biography of the main author of the Baobab publishing house, Olga Černá and her literary work. The author's preferred literary genre, target group and selected methods of working with text, which are used in the practical part, are also described. The second part also contains worksheets with examples of excerpts from selected works by the author, their verification in practice and reflection.
