Stroj na řízené obrábění kruhových a čtvercových profilů
Bernatík, Michal ; Kočiš, Petr (referee) ; Pokorný, Prokop (advisor)
Bachelor thesis briefly describes the basic methods of unconventional machining, such as their advantages, disadvantages and use in practice. Further, this bachelor thesis describes the complete design of the plasma cutting machine for Markos Production. At the conclusion of this thesis are evaluated the pros and cons of the design with proposed improvements for higher positioning accuracy. The annex of this work is a detailed drawing documentation of one complete assembly of the design of the machine plasma torch movement.
Plasma cutting of high strength steels
Šmak, Martin ; Herčík, Tomáš (referee) ; Kubíček, Jaroslav (advisor)
Cutting of steel is one of the fundamental operations within steel processing and steel product manufacturing. The cutting of high-strength steels represents a significant technological problem since the application of many methods produces an extensive amount of heat that is introduced into the material. The heat may significantly impact the mechanical properties of the steel. The thesis is focused on the application of the method of plasma cutting on high-strength steels. In the theoretical part of the present thesis, the common methods of cutting of steel and the plasma cutting technology are described. The parameters influencing the process of plasma cutting and their impact on the quality of the section are discussed. Furthermore, the concept of a heat-affected zone in the context of the plasma cutting method is concerned. The experimental part deals with the influence of plasma cutting on the hardness of certain types of high-strength steels. Three types of high-strength steels were used for the experiments: ARMOX 500 T, STRENX 650 MC E, and XAR®450. The sections were performed with two different cutting speeds. The size of the heat-affected zone and the hardness in the different areas of the section were evaluated. The results show that the plasma cutting is suitable for cutting of high-strength steels if appropriate parameters are selected. The influence of this method on the mechanical properties of certain high-strength steels is shown and discussed.
Solution technology of cooling tower component
Dobiáš, Radek ; Kubík, Roman (referee) ; Kalivoda, Milan (advisor)
The content of this diploma thesis is solution of production technology of cooling tower component. A model the cooling tower according to customer specifications is designed. There are selected 2 plates from steel construction that will be machined by plasma cutting. The technology of production of the plates is also proposed. Technical and economic evaluation of production compares 2 versions of plate production using unconventional metal cutting methods.
Analysis of plasma cutting
Hauzarová, Michaela ; Mrňa, Libor (referee) ; Kubíček, Jaroslav (advisor)
Method of cutting material by plasma is constantly evolving and increasingly used technology. Plasma is used from small manual cutting devices to smart fully automated system. This technological study describes the technological principle of plasma cutting, properties of plasma in comparison with the other most common methods of material separation systems and presents CompleXX, the global program using m3 plasma system.

Cutting of supporting profiles on building
Protivínský, Pavel ; Osička, Karel (referee) ; Kalivoda, Milan (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with technology for material cutting on the building site. Firstly, there were described different methods for material cutting, their principle, reached quality of section, demands for requirements on Occupational safety and health (OSH) and there are described different qualification of device operators. Secondly there were described specific condition in a mobile building site. Eventually, there are compared all the examined technologies after the experiment according to different criteria.
