Design of information system CRM module

The aim of this work is to analyze and design model completely prepared for the developing team which must be able to build a fully functional CRM modul for company offering computer training. Through the use of UML diagrams it will figure out functions offered by the modul and the way, how these functions are accessible to the user. This work will also suggest some possibilities of work between this modul and the database in the SQL language.
Information system for translation agency

Presented thesis deals with design and implementation of an information system for a local translation agency. The main purpose of the information system is to provide functions for effective user/project management. Key part of system is represented by a multi-level processing of terminology queries from external translators. Further features include distribution of documents to users, resource planning, and work evaluation. In order to provide instant 24/7 access, the system has been implemented as a WWW application using PHP script language, MySQL database, and AJAX technology.
Application Development for Financial Advisors

The modern time is characterized by strong competition in almost every field of doing, customers expect better and better services, demands are growing permanently. Capability to satisfy customers´ expectations became one of the key success factors. In many cases is this capability of delivering additional value the only significant benefit which differ you from competition. Customers rely on impressions and image of the company more and more. This work does not deal with complex customer relationship management, but is aimed at improving the position of financial advisors/consultants in this area. The purpose of application, designed in this work, is to improve effectiveness and save time in every day’s life which is wasted for unnecessary searching and browsing records. This goal is connected with capability of application to deliver methods which make possible easy and effective client portfolio management.
Aplication of test analysis methods on mobile application

The aim of this thesis is to do test analysis with use of methods based on specification. The methods of test analysis are used on mobile application Duolingo, which is intended for learning and practice of foreign languages, especially English. The thesis is divided into two main parts, the theoretical part and the analytical part. The theoretical part is focused on requirements engineering, test analysis and its methods, and also on mobile testing. At first the analytical part introduces in detail mobile application Duolingo and also its key concepts. Subsequently it focuses on creation of test cases with test analysis methods, which are defined in the theoretical part of this thesis.
Utilization of SIEM systems for network events monitoring

In the last years we can observe an increasing number of security incidents varying in their focus, motives and success rate. Attacks are often conducted by very skilled organized groups with high knowledge base and they are increasing in their sophistication and efficiency. Because of those reasons information security is now one of the main fields of interest of IT experts. This thesis deals with Security information and Event Management technology and its usage for the detection of potentially harmful activity in a company's internal network. In the first chapter the elementary concepts of security are placed into the context of this thesis. Next chapter deals with security information and event management technology itself, its clear definition and describing the main functionality. The end of the theoretical part is dedicated to the author's view of the future and also to the problems concerning the implementation of SIEM solutions including return on investment calculation which has certain specifics in security field. Main benefit coming from this thesis is a clear description and creation of use cases aimed at the detecting suspicious activity in internal computer networks combined with their deployment in SIEM solution in real environment. The practical part of this thesis is dedicated to the configuration of the chosen device and its connection to the SIEM solution, and the assessment of usability of security events generated by the threat detecting device. Based on this assessment the use cases will be modelled and then deployed in the test environment. This thesis aims to bring on overall view into the security information and event management technology, starting with its definition and base functions. The primary goal of this thesis is use case designing for real time threat detection in a practical environment.
Design and development of an information system for the company Bistro na Formanské Cestě

Aim of the thesis is to design and develop a small information system according to the needs of the specific customer. The customer is Bistro na Formanské Cestě, four-class restaurant. Developed system will record all business transactions in this company and will enable or facilitate some processes in this company. Part of this thesis is to analyze processes in this company and to identify its weaknesses and needs. Thesis is divided into three parts. In the first part, there are described processes and properties of above-mentioned company, followed by its main problems. Second part describes suggestions how to solve this problems by implementing information system into this company, and defines the functions that the system should contain. Third part contains description of all functions of the developed system, its database and use cases.
Methodology ICONIX Process

The main part of this work deals with the introduction of agile, use case-driven methodology for software development ICONIX Process. The reader is first given to the principles of agile programming, which is followed by a detailed description of the methodology and all its stages with practical examples from the demonstration project - starting with a thorough requirements analysis, through design application, to outline the implementation and testing.
