Curling building
Nováková, Hana ; Buchta, Stanislav (referee) ; Pilgr, Milan (advisor)
Design of load bearing steel structure of a curling building. Examination of main load bearing building blocks. Examination of selected details. Drawing of disposition and selected details. Elaboration of manufactory drawings of chosen segments.
Hangar
Čajda, Daniel ; Straka, Bohumil (referee) ; Sýkora, Karel (advisor)
This thesis is about designing and assessmenting timber structure of hangar in Brno - Medlánky. Hangar is designed for small planes at Medlanky airport. Plan view of hangar is 116 m × 64 m and hight is 10,6 m. The building is curved and building forms part of a semicircle. The main frames are irregular and formed of solid girder which statically acting as a double-jointed arches. The structure is designed from glued laminated timber, solid timber and steel connecting elements. Substructure is solved by concrete blocks and foundation strips. A spatial rigidity of the structure is provided by the sway and longitudinal bracings. Roof and peripheral walls are made by sandwich panels.
Office and logictic building
Navrátil, Ondřej ; Ing. Michal Štrba. Ph.D. (referee) ; Pilgr, Milan (advisor)
Design of a steel supporting structure for one-storeyed hall based on ground plan of 60 x 80 m, clear height 10 m and total height 13,3 m. In the front part there is along the whole widht designed two-storeyed skeleton structure penetrating into the hall. From the second floor rods supported frontal part which exceeds ground plan by 2 m and on the right side is closed by pre-set cylindric structure with radius 8,6 m which covers the right frontal corner of building. The cylindric structure is around its perimeter distanced max 3,6 m from hall grand plan and is supported by posts. Both spaces had saddle roof with 8% slant, gutter edge in height 11,6 m, top line in height 12,8 m. Walls are around perimeter closed by horizontal atic in height of 13,3 m. Shape and dimensional design, load specification – stady, utility, climacic load. Calculation of imide forces and further static dimensioning of the main supporting elements and selected details. Elaboration of design documentation (dosposition, production drawing of the anchorage plan, details definited by project supervizor).
The structure of a sport hall
Bednár, Michal ; Štrba, Michal (referee) ; Šmak, Milan (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor thesis is to design and assess the structural design of a timber multipurpose sport hall. The location of the proposed construction is located in Hodonín. The design of dimensions of the structure are 36 m x 55 m and a height of 10.8 m. The main beams are full-walled arch frames made of glued laminated wood. From a static point of view, this is a double-articular frame. The construction consists of a lumber of laminated wood, and steel fasteners. The stability in the longitudinal direction is secured by bonded laminated wood purging, and by steel transverse stiffeners. The bottom construction of the structure is solved by means of concrete feet into which it is anchored. The gages are made of grown wood, made up of columns and chils.
The Roof Structure of Sport Building
Straka, Pavel ; Šmak, Milan (referee) ; Buchta, Stanislav (advisor)
The aim of the bachelor thesis is to design and assess wooden framework of roofing of multipurpose sport hall. The object is located in Moravské Budějovice. Ground plan dimensions are 40 m x 60 m and height is 10,7 m. The main load-bearing elements are full length beams, which statically acts as a double-jointed arches. The design is made of glued laminated wood, solid wood and connecting steel elements. The stability of beams is secured by purlins and transverse stiffeners. The substructure is designed with anchor blocks made of concrete situated on the foundation strips. The front walls are secured by columns and braces.
Steel Structure of Cultural Hall
Břečka, Jan ; Pešek, Ondřej (referee) ; Horáček, Martin (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor´s thesis is to design steel structure of the cultural hall situated in Moravské Budějovice. The dimensions are 32,6 x 62,0 meters and height is 13,5 meters. The main constructional material is S 355 steel. The load bearing structure of the hall consists of the truss frames with axial distance of 6 meters. Exterior building clading consists of trapezoidal sheet and other layers. The static analysis of the main load bearing parts of the structure is processed. The calcuation were made in accordance with the European design codes.
Sports hall
Podešť, Jakub ; Pilgr, Milan (referee) ; Sýkora, Karel (advisor)
Bachelor’s thesis deals with structural design of sports hall for common sports (handbal, football, tennis, volleyball, basketball) located in the Zlín. The hall ground plan dimensions are 36 m x 48 m and height of the hal lis 16,03 m. A loadbearing structure of roofing consists of three-hinged archs of glued laminated timber. A curve is pin-supported on reinforced concrete frames. Cross-binding are distanced 4 m. Purlins are pin supported between archs. The stability of the structure is toughened by sway and longitudinal bracing.
Lumber mill
Beran, Miroslav ; Šmak, Milan (referee) ; Barnat, Jan (advisor)
The aim of The Bachelor’s thesis is design and assessment of steel structure lumber mill. The building has rectangular shape with dimensions of 24 x 9 m, highest point is 5 m. The main supporting structure consist of three-hinged truss girder in axial distance of 4 m. The individual frames are connected by purlins and girts and spatial rigidity of the structure provides system of longitudinal and sway bracings. The entire building is assessed as a closed hall, a hall with open barndoor on one gable wall and as roof with only longitudinal wall for continuous working.
