Lost landscapes of mountain agriculture of Šumava (Bohemian Forest): reconstruction, 3D models of landscape and possibilities of their presentation on web
Polák, Mojmír ; Kupková, Lucie (advisor) ; Štych, Přemysl (referee)
The study deals with the model area of the village Prášily in Šumava (Bohemian Forest), which is analysed in the framework of the project "Heritage of lost landscapes: identification, reconstruction and presentation". The goal was to evaluate landscape changes since the middle of the 19th century until present with use of maps of stable cadaster, historical orthophotos, current ortophotos and to create 3D reconstruction models of the landscape and a 3D photorealistic model of the extinct village Hurka. The next aim was to evaluate possibilities of presentation of 3D models on the internet and to find an optimal solution for their web presentation. The theoretical part describes possible methods of evaluation of landscape transformation, development of landscape in the Czech Republic since the middle of 19th century, theory of 3D models, the use of 3D models in practice and the methods of presentation of 3D models. The practical part consists of two landscape models, that were visualized using ArcGIS Online Web Scene, Web Viewer and a 3D model of the extinct village Hůrka with fly- through animation. The models were created using Sketchfab, 3DWarehouse and Google Poly. Sketchfab was chosen as the best solution because of its good visuals and good display on mobile devices.

Inventory of farm buildings using unmanned aerial vehicle and comparison
BOŽÁK, Pavel
This dissertation deals with unmaned aerial vehicles and their use in an accurate photogrammetric mapping. The very first part of my thesis describes a history of UAV (unmaned aerial vehicles) and a theoretical introduction of the issue. In the second part of this thesis a specific example of mapping agricultural area with a missing building in cadastral map is solved. The disertation is focused on an aerial photo-shooting and then on matching the pictures in the software Agisoft Photo Scan. The result of the work is a detailed ortophoto map of the agricultural area where the missing building is exactly positionally determined.
Automatic detection of zebra crossings from aerial images
Tomíček, Jiří ; Potůčková, Markéta (advisor) ; Fiala, Radek (referee)
There are a number of studies that deal with detection of road network from image Remote Sensing data. However, little work has been done on algorithms for horizontal road signs detection from Remote Sensing data. On the other hand there are many papers that deal with horizontal road signs detection in the field of Computer vision. Theoretical part of master thesis sumarizes the methods that are used to detect objects from both, Remote Sensing and Computer vision data. In the practical part an algorithm of automatic Zebra-crossing detection based on Aerial Images and vector road layer is designed. Zebra-crossings are detected using matching of image with set of predefined patterns. Obtained set of potential objects is then filtred using geometric and relational criteria. At the end of this thesis, the proposed algorithm is validated and the results are discussed with literature. Key words: Zebra-crossing, Horizontal road signs, Image matching, Aerial images

Andrštová, Martina ; Štych, Přemysl (advisor) ; Jaroš, Jakub (referee)
3D reconstruction of abandoned settlements of the central Povltaví ABSTRACT This work deals with the use of Geoinformatic systems to create the three-dimensional model of an extinct landscape. The main subject of this bachelor work is the three-dimensional reconstruction of extinct municipalities in the central area of the Vltava River. The main task was to create digital terrain model of the original Vltava valley. The passage from Zvírotice to Svatojánské proudy has been chosen as the model territory. Two selected municipalities Zvírotice and Živohošť were thoroughly worked up. Many data sources were used in this work, such as historical photographs, historical aerial photographs or current orthophoto maps. Digital terrain models were created with the help of these datas and then the models were overlain with the orthophotos. 3D models of buildings and vegetation were put in the terrain models. Two periods were compared, 50th of the 20th century and present. Results of this work are fly-by animations and perspective scenes. The results will be used in newly built museum in Chotilsko town. Keywords: 3D reconstruction, DTM, land cover changes, orthophoto
