Jesus Christ is the only Norm of Christian Moral: Sacramentum et Exemplum and it 's Moral Meaning in the Work of Benedict XVI.
Válka, David ; Lorman, Jaroslav (advisor) ; Sládek, Karel (referee)
Jesus Christ is the only one Norm of Christian Moral: Sacramentum et Exemplum and it 's Moral Meaning in the Work of Benedict XVI. Jesus Christ commands the love to his apprentices in The Farewell Speech (John 13,34 and 15,12) but he commands de facto himself, because he is incorporated love. He is the sacrament - Sacramentum, we take him at communion where our being is converted, we are disposed to love. He is also the example - Exemplum, which is teaching us to live in love and to do deeds of love. These aspects are the topic of this work. The first task is to analyze moral meanings both of the aspects in the work of Benedict XVI. The triptych Jesus of Nazareth (Jesus-Buch in Germ. abbreviation) is considered as a key work. Also all the pope's encyclicals are in indirect dialog with Jesus-Buch, mainly the Deus caritas est. The Spirit of the Liturgy is important in the topic as well. The analytic part of the work, according to the it's size, is focused only to such depth, to be the basic thesis: 'Jesus Christ is the only one norm of christian moral' theological legitimate. The main aim is to prove, if our thesis is taken as a fact, that Jesus's commandment of love is unique, universal rule, of which moral influence is realized through the Eucharist and is concretized in living activity of Christ...
The Moral Relevance of Jesus' beatitude: "Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled" (Mt 5,6)
Menclová, Martina ; Lorman, Jaroslav (advisor) ; Ovečka, Libor (referee)
The bachelor thesis deals with the ethically relevant contents of Jesus' Beatitudes: "Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled" (Mt 5, 6). At the beginning we find the exegesis of the Sermon on the Mount (Mt 5-7) and the clarification of the term of righteousness as it was taught by Jesus. Apart from the biblical righteousness we also look at the philosophical righteousness the way Aristotle and Thomas Aquinas understood it. This is to see if the antic idea of the righteousness differs from the righteousness taught by Jesus. Christ as the moral example of the Christians fully fulfilled the blessedness mentioned. That is why the following part of the thesis focuses on Jesus as the provider of righteousness and so called ethics of following. The final part of this work is dedicated to the application of the normative requirements arising from this beatitude in the present times, i.e. how a Christian should hunger and thirst for righteousness in everyday life.

"Dear Tomas, At last, I got to my computer today. To sum it up: your extraordinary thesis, which I briefly went through, may be revised by tomorrow. However, you have to take into account a surcharge for delivery within 24 hours, i.e. the express service surcharge. Grammatical and graphic adjustments need to be done ? e. g. alignment of text in columns, etc. As it is the first time when I am doing a revision of the final thesis from DAMU, I would like to ask you, whether or not the extraordinary style of your work is allowed or even recommended, because it is a bit strange to me that the thesis is not structured into the particular chapters. Should you require any additional graphic adjustment, please, do not hesitate to inform me. Kind regards, Jana Zapletalová Good evening, The thing is that during the writing process of the ?ordinary and good thesis? I heard many voices that they ?will devote only a blink at it?. It made me really sad. And I decided to dig a little bit into the orders and habits. Degree or not, what I consider more important is the feeling. Thank you, ? Tomas?
