Impact of injection on mechanical and physical characteristics of mortar
Fridrich, Pavel ; Myslín, Jiří (referee) ; Tomíček,, Oldřich (referee) ; Klečka,, Tomáš (referee) ; Tuza, Karel (advisor)
The increased moisture of the building materials causes the change of its mechanical and physical characteristic. In particular the high amount of loose water in construction shorten the lifetime of the building, is harmful to human beings due to biotic factors and increase the economic expenses of usage of the building. Apart from the costs of rehabilitation the loose water deteriorates the thermal insulative ability (thermal conductivity coefficient ) of perimeter masonry as well. The moisture gets into masonry not only through its deffects but also due to many different reasons. In order to improve the utility value of the buildings we have to deal with the rehabilitation of damp masonry with view to all possible causes. Only the properly working damp proofing ensures the protection against the water leaking from the subfoundation of the building. One of the direct techniques which have undergone rapid progress in last few years is the injection procedure. With use of experimental methods in my dissertation I deal with evaluation of two injection compounds used in Czech Republic and with its impact on the characteristics of the mortar. With the modern hollow bricks (system THERM) it is possible to create horizontal infusion into the lateral mortar grooves in future.
Re-design of biomass boiler for very wet fuel
Zbořil, Martin ; Skála, Zdeněk (referee) ; Lisý, Martin (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to calculate the stoichiometric balance of boilers and boiler fuel for normal monture to 60%. Determine the monture, content depending on the conditions of the fuel in the combustion chamber and conditions of combustion. Experimental analysis of the current state of the boiler ZKG measurements using this device and propose modifications and solutions.
Bigots Curve for the Determination of Plastic Body Properties
Suk, Vojtěch ; Nevřivová, Lenka (referee) ; Sokolář, Radomír (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is focused on the use of the Bigot curve as a tool for assessing the performance of plastic ceramic materials. The theoretical thesis is a form of research of available literature. It elaborates a general view on the Bigot curve and possible application properties which derive from it for some specific soil. In the experimental part were determined properties of plastic ceramic material from location Jirčany from which were formed samples made of plastic dough with different moisture content, with the addition of grog and additives. Properties such as shape of Bigot curve, critical moisture value, size of drying shrinkage and drying sensitivity of the soil were monitored on the samples.
Biomass preparation and combustion technologies
Venhoda, Tomáš ; Recman, Milan (referee) ; Juřena, Tomáš (advisor)
The aim of this work is to provide for background research about preparation and combustion of biomass. Technologies for preparation of biomass including ingathering prior to combustion are described in the first part of this work. Different ways combustion of biomass and comparison of different types of grates are in the second part of the thesis.
The moisture effect on properties of insulating materials exposed to thermal and electrical stress
Janošek, Michal ; Frk, Martin (referee) ; Rozsívalová, Zdenka (advisor)
The diploma thesis with experimental verification influence moisture of the dielectric properties of non-aged and thermally, electric and multistress aged slot insulation Isonom NMN. Above all both components of the complex permittivity are examined in dependence on frequency during the thermal, electric and multistress ageing. Practical part is specialized on design, realization and examination of workplace multistress ageing.
Effects of multistress ageing on the insulating materials properties
Kučera, Miroslav ; Frk, Martin (referee) ; Rozsívalová, Zdenka (advisor)
This bachelor´s thesis treat of influence of relative moisture environment and electrical and combined stress on the dielectric properties of the slotted isolation ISONOM NMN. Under examination are above all both components of the complex permittivity in dependencies on frequency and in dependencies on temperature with method dielectric relaxation spectroscopy.
Continual actual moisture of fine particulates measurement possibilities.
Mayerová, Kateřina ; Ing.Lukáš Brzobohatý (referee) ; Svěrák, Tomáš (advisor)
This thesis describes the process of measuring a hydrated lime moisture, using gravimetric method and FT-NIR spectroscopy. The aim of the theretical part was to analyse and present the area of infrared spectroscopy (IR), gathering the general information about infrared spectroscopy, Fourier transformation and near infrared spectroscopy (NIR). Experimental part of the thesis was carried out in limekiln Carmeuse in Mokré town, where the FT-NIR spectroscopy was investigated for possible usage in on-line measuring of hydrated lime moisture.
Wet surfaces drying using air streams
Gusnarová, Hana ; Hejčík, Jiří (referee) ; Hejčík, Jiří (referee) ; Jaroš, Michal (advisor)
Diploma thesis submit processing and evaluation of experiment which was made at University of Hertfordshire. Aim of this experiment was practically confirm and compare efficiency of drying bottles with blower and compressor. The next purpose was to suggest solution against recondensation on dry surface of bottles. Diploma thesis involves also economy calculation. In the diploma thesis was described issues of drying and condensation, realized analysis of drying equipment and methods of air conditioning. As the most suitable and the most cost effective way of drying was at the base on experiment and energy and economy calculation chosen tested turbo blower 587. As the solution, against recondenzation was created anticondensation tunnel. As the most suitable way for condition the dew point inside the tunnel for require value was chosen desiccant rotor Munters.
Comparison of properties of alternative pellets
Jansa, Oldřich ; Moskalík, Jiří (referee) ; Baláš, Marek (advisor)
This thesis deals with the alternative pellets and the means of production from raw material to final customer. The theoretical part deals with different techniques and manufacturing technologies used. Furthermore, the work deals with Czech and European legislation in the field of fuel pellets. The practical part deals with measuring and comparing the properties of selected standard pellets.
Advanced Generation of Damage Effects into Synthetic Fingerprints
Svoradová, Veronika ; Drahanský, Martin (referee) ; Kanich, Ondřej (advisor)
The main goal of this thesis was to design and implement a application that would be able to generate fingerprint damage into a synthetic fingerprint. The application can create fingerprint images damaged by pressure, moisture and skin disease dyshidrosis with different intensity of damage. The application also allows annotation of the generated damage and its export. Selected damages were analyzed before the design was created. A database of fingerprints from five users was created to analyze the damage caused by pressure and moisture. The generated images and the achieved results are tested with VeriFinger and FiQiVi. For testing, 19 sets with fingerprints of different intensity and different type of damage were created. Experiments showed that the quality of the fingerprint decreased the most during the generation of moisture with the highest intensity of damage, where the quality decreased by 61.8 %. This thesis can be used for further research in the field of biometric fingerprint processing.
