The issues of juvenile criminal justice
Jedlička, Martin ; Hořák, Jaromír (advisor) ; Beranová, Andrea (referee)
The submitted thesis deals with problems of juvenile justice. The emphasis is put on the Czech legislation, represented primarily by the special Act No. 218/2003 Coll., on the liability of youth and juvenile justice and on the amendment of some laws (Act on Juvenile Justice), which contains a substantive law part and a procedural law part. I chose this division for the thesis as well. The aim of the thesis is to identify, to review and to carry out an analysis of the Czech legislation and to point out its contention parts. The thesis is divided into three parts. The first part deals mainly with the historical development of juvenile justice in our territory in the last 100 years and general aspects of the Act on Juvenile Justice. A separate chapter of the first part is about the concept of restorative justice, its use in the Czech legislation, but also in documents, directives and resolutions at the European level and United Nation level. The second part is focused on selected aspects of substantive law regulation, such as minimum age of criminal responsibility, mental and moral maturity, moral development of children, measures imposed on youth and relationships between these measures. In the last part I deal with selected aspects of procedural law, including the role of the Probation and Mediation...

Rechtbergerová, Karolína ; Pospíšilová, Tereza (advisor) ; Frič, Pavol (referee)
The master's thesis focuses on the nature of volunteering in a traditional interest organization, specifically the Czech Tourist Club. The aim is to identify the specifics of volunteering in this organization, including whether the examined organization faces issues typical for traditional organizations and their impacts. The research also explores how the Czech Tourist Club addresses the identified problems. Data for the study are sourced from interviews with organization employees and volunteers, a questionnaire survey conducted within the Czech Tourist Club, and documents of the organization. The research yields significant insights into volunteering within a traditional interest organization. The findings confirm challenges faced by traditional organizations related to aging of their members and declining membership. Moreover, the results offer new perspectives on volunteering in this type of organization and volunteering in general. Changing life values and attitudes among individuals result in volunteers having different priorities and expectations, emphasizing the need for organizations to adapt and align with societal changes. Keywords: Volunteering, traditional interest organization, membership base, aging members, youth, civil society

Title: Assessment of general motor coordination, sprint speed and dribbling with the ball in young football players. Purpose: Find out the relationship between measured parameters from the motor coordination tests (area of general motor ability), the timed slalom ball control test (area of football skills) and the sprint test with a change of direction (area of conditioning abilities) for the young football players (U6 - U11). Find out possible differences between players with different levels of motor coordination in the slalom test with a ball and in the speed test with a change of direction. Methods: We used the method of observation and measurement for data collection. We used a form of field testing for the observations. The research group consisted of 90 football players in the preparation categories (U6, U7, U8, U9, U10 a U11) in the football club SK Slavia Prague. Bláža, Lukáš ; Zahálka, František (advisor) ; Buzek, Mario (referee)
Title: Selected parameters of fitness assesment of elite young soccer players Objectives: This work identifies selected parameters of the fitness readiness of young elite soccer players. Additionally, we describe terrain motor tests focusing on the metrics of speed, dexterity, and agility, amongst others. Finally, we describe the results of the tests and analyze the speed capabilities and individual indicators by using the motor terrain tests. Methods: Subjects were studied using field testing specific to soccer. Participants were elite soccer players under 16 years old who were in the national selection. The subjects attended a measurement at national level with artificial grass, the standard playing conditions. We investigated the speed capabilities of each player, followed by a statistical evaluation of the results using computer programs. Results: The individuals tested showed very good condition parameters, forming a homogeneous assemblage. An analysis of the players' motor test performances determined their speed abilities. It was found that at single speeds in various sections of a run, which the players achieve during a twenty meter run, the curve of acceleration rises and plateaus as they start to maintain their speed. Keywords: football, youth, tests, speed, agility
