The main factors affecting the development of national insurance market

The aim of my thesis was to analyze the assessment of developments in the national insurance market in recent years, including the selected trends which it operates. The first chapter focuses on the development of national economy. This is essentially a development of selected economic indicators: GDP, inflation rate and unemployment rate. The second chapter focuses on the general characteristics of the insurance market. This chapter is mainly devoted to specific indicators of the insurance market and that it also deals with insurance companies, which are evaluated according to various criteria. Another part of my thesis are devoted to developments. Specifically, the trends and non-life insurance, which is a general characteristic, current trends and insurance products at the end of the selected trends. These two chapters end with a brief comparison with the values of the European Union. In the following section are discussed in more detail the general trends: the asymmetry of information, protection of the client, the principle of single license, insurance fraud, the development of information technology and bancassurance. The last chapter consists of developments in the regulation of insurance - IFRS 4 and Solvency II. The conclusion is devoted to forecast the future development of the insurance market.

Hodnoceno na základě makroekonomických ukazatelů - hdp, inflace, nezaměstnanost, zahraniční obchod. Vliv transformační strategie a na současný stav české ekonomiky.

The relationship between macroeconomic indicators development and the development on the capital market in the Czech Republic

The objective of this thesis was to determine relation between macroeconomic indicators development and the development on the capital market in the Czech Republic in phase 2000 {--} 2005. The description of macroeconomic development and the development on the capital market is partial objective. Also this thesis describes changeover from centrally planned economy system to free market economy before year 2000, actual development, trends and determining factors. The evaluation of the relationship between macroeconomic indicators development and the development on the capital market was based on a macroeconomic part of the fundamental analysis.

Czech Republic after entering the European Union – international comparison

This bachelor thesis focuses on the macroeconomic development of the Czech Republic after entering the European Union and on comparing chosen indicators with other European countries with special focus on the Visegrad Group. This paper is divided into two parts. The first part is aimed at the economic growth. The gross domestic product is analyzed here along with other alternative indicators like gross national income and real gross domestic income. The second part focuses on economic freedom. There are two organizations examining the latter. This part is aimed at the Economic Freedom of the World (EFW) index published by Fraser Institute.

Transformace české ekonomiky: silné a slabé stránky

Práce je rozdělena do tří částí. První část popisuje výchozí podmínky před zahájením transformačních reforem, nastínění zvolené strategie reformy a stručně shrnuje hlavní změny uskutečněné po roce 1989 v podkapitolách systémové změny, institucionální změny a strukturální změny v období přechodu od centrálně plánované ekonomiky k tržnímu hospodářství. V další části je popsán vývoj základních makroekonomických ukazatelů po roce 1989. Pozornost je zde věnována vývoji HDP, nezaměstnanosti, inflace a vývoji vnější ekonomické rovnováhy a zahraničního obchodu. V poslední části bakalářské práce je pozornost zaměřena na vývoj konkurenční schopností české ekonomiky. Konkurenceschopnost je hodnocena prostřednictvím ukazatelů nákladové konkurenceschopnosti, ukazatelů založených na výstupech ze zahraničního obchodu a prostor je věnován i multifaktorovému hodnocení konkurenční schopnosti. Na závěr práce jsou uvedeny slabé a silné stránky transformace české ekonomiky.
