Práce se zabývá makroekonomickým vývojem České republiky po vstupu do EU a následným srovnáním se zeměmi Evropské Unie, především se státy Visegrádské skupiny. Důraz je kladen zejména na vývoj hrubého domácího produktu a jeho složek. Alternativou k tomuto hodnocení je srovnání dle indexu ekonomické svobody vytvořeném společností The heritage Foundation. Work deals with the macroeconomic development of the Czech Republic after EU accession and subsequent comparison with EU countries, especially the states of the Visegrad Group. The emphasis is on development of gross domestic product and its components. An alternative to this evaluation is compared to an index of economic freedom created by The Heritage Foundation.
