Topics of Friendship and Loneliness in Selected Literary Works for Children and Youth and their Application in Leisure Education for Reading

The bachelor thesis deals with the theme of friendship and loneliness in selected literary works for children and youth and their application in leisure education for reading. The thesis is divided into theoretical and practical parts. The theoretical part analyses literature for children and youth (characteristics, features, functions and breakdown), definitions of friendship and loneliness. This is followed by an analysis of four literary works and their possible application in leisure education for reading. The practical part includes a set of worksheets from the selected works, with their subsequent verification in practice, including reflection.
Selected Works of Ester Stará in Leisure Education for Reading

The bachelor thesis aims to introduce the work of the auhtor of children's books, special pedagogue and speech therapist Ester Stará and the use of the selected work in leisure education for reading. The work is divided into a theoretical and practical part. In the theoretical part, the author's biography, literary work and received awards are presented. Furthermore, the developmental specifics of the child reader and celected methods chosen for specific work with the text. The practical part is focused on a one-week project with the book Šedík a Bubi and its practical use in leisure education for reading.

The bachelor thesis aims to introduce the work of Pavel Čech (an illustrator, a comics creator, and a book writer) and the use of selected work in leisure education indicated for reading. The dissertation is divided into two parts. The theoretical part introduces a bio, author's work, awards received, preferred literature genre, and selected methods chosen for particular work with text. The practical part focuses on the project O čertovi that develops the reading in kinder garden.
Transformation of a selected DDM after 1989

The subject of this thesis is the examination of the evolution of Youth Centre (Dům dětí a mládeže) in Strakonice since 1989. First, the changes that affected leisure education facilities after the Velvet revolution are described. The description focused on the alternations to the buildings and the management in the last decade of the 20th century, as well as its assertion as one of the main places for children and youths to spend their free time in the city of Strakonice. Next, the activities carried out as well as the forms of leisure education, HR and finance issues and the range of the offered leisure clubs are presented to demonstrate the evolution of the DDM Strakonice in the 21st century.
Literary text as a tool of environmental education in Leisure Education

The thesis deals with literary text as a tool for environmental education in leasure education. The theoretical part describes an approach to environmental education in Framework Education Programme for Preschool Education. The theoretical part is also focused on the function of environmental education in development of personality of preschool children, defines forest kindergartens and their pedagogical approach. The theoretical part also deals with literary text as a tool to develop abilities through environmental education and offers a list and descriptions of selected educational methods useful when working with literary text in kindergartens. The content of practical part concentrates on creation of set of worskheeets and methodical sheets and their verification in a forest kindergarten.
Parent's and teacher's attitudes towards extracurricular activities for preschool children

The thesis deals with attitudes of parents and kindergarten pedagogues towards leisure education of preschool children. The first part defines the subject of the research: the definition of attitudes and their function and then the characterization of education for preschool children outside the kindergarten and within the kindergarten. It also presents the results of the research and links them with theory of the development of preschool children, play and the content of preschool education. The question is discussed whether preschool education is sufficient in terms of developmental needs of a pre-school child or whether leisure education is a suitable addition to the pre-school education.
Learning outcomes of pupils at wind department of Elementary art school from the perspective of Framework educational programme and the pupils´ parents

The thesis deals with the expectations of parents of pupils at wind department of Elementary art school and the learning outcomes set by the Framework Educational Programme for Elementary art education. Author compares the two areas and describes how they differ. The first part deals with the theoretical context of the topic and selected concepts: Elementary art school, Framework educational programme, key competencies, learning outcomes and parental expectations. The second part presents the research of the pupils' results expected by the parents. Gaps and mistakes the parents of pupils see in teaching at Elementary art school are mentioned as well. The research was inspired by the attitude of Jonathan Lilliedahl and Eva Georgii-Hemming and their article Parental expectations of the Swedish municipal school of arts. The thesis analyses the Framework Educational Programme for Elementary art education and discusses its parts concerning the goals, key competencies and especially the learning outcomes of the wind department pupils. The final chapter presents differences between parental expectations and the Framework educational programme.
Self-evaluation of an After-School English Program

The bachelor thesis deals with the specific features of English language teaching in leasure education of older school age pupils in connection with formal teaching. The theoretical part contains a description of particular approaches to teaching English, defines free time, education out of classes, interest, leisure education and requirements for leisure education. The practical part is devoted to the project of an English leisure course for pupils of the 5th year of elementary school in Zliv. This particular example illustrates the specifics, which are discussed in the theoretical part.
