This thesis is focused on the design and implementation of a virtual oscilloscope used primarily for study purposes. The virtual oscilloscope is created in LabVIEW environment. The application also includes a function generator with two outputs. The theoretical part of the thesis is focused on the analysis of function generator and oscilloscope, and also describes the LabVIEW environment and its possibilities for creating a virtual measuring instrument. The practical part of the thesis describes creating of a two-channel virtual oscilloscope, which is inspired by the Siglent SDS1000X series oscilloscope. The thesis also includes two laboratory tasks prepared for this virtual oscilloscope.
Modular system for measuring the characteristics of two-way loudspeaker systems
Pešek, Marko ; Schimmel, Jiří (referee) ; Balík, Miroslav (advisor)
This master's thesis deals with design and implementation of modular system for two-way loudspeaker system's characteristics. Work focus mainly on the enclosure geometry and speaker placement. The individual modules of the system were designed and then implemented. Furthermore, the characteristics of these modules were measured and laboratory tasks using these modules were elaborated.
Laboratory exercises for network technologies education
Kapusta, Martin ; Langhammer, Lukáš (referee) ; Dvořák, Jan (advisor)
The aim of the diploma thesis is to choose network simulator suitable for network technologies laboratory tasks for educational use. Theoretical part of thesis describes basics of network communication, addressing, reference models. Thesis also describes standards Wi Fi, Ethernet and routing protocol OSPF - technologies which are discussed in laboratory tasks. The practical part of diploma thesis describes a few available network simulators suitable for creating two laboratory tasks. Finally, the NS-3 simulator was chosen. Both laboratory tasks include theoretical introduction, detailed description of source code, individual tasks, expected outputs and control questions which senses understanding of discussed technologies.
Lichens: Lichenological study of Károvské údolí valley. Lichens in the educational system; model practical exercise for grade school and college
Fessová, Alena ; Svoboda, David (advisor) ; Halda, Josef (referee)
7 SUMMARY This thesis is divided into two separate portions. The first part covers my own lichen floristic exploration of the Károvské údolí locality stretching out along the southern limits of Prague near Zbraslav. The location is formed by relatively steep slopes with orientation to North and South. Natural conditions are characterised by communities of xerothermic steppes and oak groves with alder clumps and hornbeams prevailing in lower parts along the Károvský potok stream. Geologically, the parent rock consists of shale rocks of acid chemical composition. Duting my search, I recorded 116 lichen species. Among them, saxicolous and terricolous lichens characteristic of acid rock outcrops and xerotherm steppes prevail. During exploration, I found also the critically endangered (CR) species Peltigera elisabethae, endangered species (EN) Flavoparmelia caperata and representatives of the genus Verrucaria, tolerant of long-term freshwater flooding - V. cf. andesiatica, V. aquatilis and V. funckii. One of species discovered, Pertusaria flavicans, has not been recorded in the Czech Republic todate. This locality is home to a summer house resort which has expanded the list of lichens by basophilic species which inhabit anthropogenic substrata. My master thesis is the first thorough research of the lichen flora...
Detection of the RF Signal on MRI
Břínek, Adam ; Kolář, Radim (referee) ; Drastich, Aleš (advisor)
Presented bachelor’s thesis is focused on the detection of MR signal. The aim is to propose the laboratory exercise. The difference between the linear and quadrature detections is described with emphasis on SNR. The program was created in Matlab GUI to be provided in the laboratory excercise. The program is presented in the text.
Laboratory tutorials for MC9S08LH microcontrollers
Zedník, Josef ; Petyovský, Petr (referee) ; Macho, Tomáš (advisor)
This work contains basic information about microcontroller MC9S08LH64 and development board TWR-S08LH64. Main task of work was design and implement at least 5 laboratory tasks for microcontroller MC9S08LH64 and development board TWR-S08LH64. This laboratory tasks allow students to learn with this microcontroller from start. Part of this work are solved programs for the tasks.
Installation, configuration and testing of server services www, e-mail, DNS and SAMBA in IPv4 and IPv6 environments
Dosoudil, Petr ; Sysel, Petr (referee) ; Novotný, Vít (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to show how to put server services like www, e-mail, DNS and SAMBA into operation within operating systems Microsoft Windows Server 2008 and Debian. The theoretical part is focused on description of individual services and principles of their functioning. The chapter is furthermore supplemented by known problems of TCP/IP, including layers and differences between IPv4 and IPv6. In the practical part, there is specific way of implementation of every service suggested, i.e. how to deal with installation and configuration of those services for selected operating systems. Outcome of this bachelor thesis are detailed instructions for laboratory tasks, which are intended for students of Brno University of Technology. Tasks are designed to be solvable even by students who are less experienced and less acquainted with the subject.
New laboratory exercises in OMNeT++ network simulator
Vlašín, Martin ; Polák, Josef (referee) ; Langhammer, Lukáš (advisor)
Diploma thesis deals with creating four laboratory tasks using simulation tool OMNeT++ and Inet Framework extension. Subject matter of these designed tasks is focused on routing protocols, providing quality of service, computer networking technologies used in local area networks and comparison of active networking devices. First task contains the comparison of behaviour and routing techniques between protocols RIPv2 and OSPFv2, including the effect of dividing OSPF network into smaller areas. Second task is focused on various techniques for controlling quality of service, namely FIFO queue, PQ and WFQ. Main goal is the comparison of results, that define quality of network services. Third task compares networking technologies, Ethernet and WLAN, parameters of transmission. Fourth task offers comparison of networking devices, hub, switch and router. This paper also contains required theory of network technologies and software tools used for executing simulations.
Laboratory tasks for Feedback 38-001
Gléba, Gergely ; Veselý, Libor (referee) ; Blaha, Petr (advisor)
The aim of this project was to get acquainted with the preparation Feedback 38-001, regenerate and establish several demonstration tasks. The first part deals with the description and the resurgence of the device. The second section describes the activities of modernization and innovation the teaching facilities. The main care was to focus on the implementation of connection with the computer supplementing measuring card and obtaining information of the regulation in real time. The third part includes the proposed laboratory tasks. The first task is based on the on-off control, which is mostly used in practice for its ease of use, with no major claims. The second task is defined for continuous control, which ensures better quality and comfort of controlling the level and the water flow. The third contains a task for identification of system parameters.
Creation of materials for laboratory tasks of robotics and automation
ŠTANGL, Jiří
The bachelor thesis deals with the concept of "programmable logic controller". History of PLC and brand Simatic, manufacturers of automation technology, individual ways of programming and internal configuration of the PLC are content of the first part. The second part discusses the component of the assembly of Simatic control unit, touchscreen panel and two robots (hand and conveyor belt). This assembly realizes five laboratory tasks with a solution key and overall assessment in the last part of the thesis.
