Apartment building
Stehlík, Štěpán ; Svoboda, David (referee) ; Čuprová, Danuše (advisor)
This abstract summarizes the main points of the bachelor's thesis. The aim was to create a comprehensive design for a new apartment building, with a focus on incorporating architectural, urbanistic, and technical requirements in accordance with current legislation and technical standards. The project documentation includes detailed drawings, structural composition proposals, product listings, and solutions regarding acoustics, daylighting, and thermal engineering. The documentation also provides information about the layout of individual residential units, common areas of the building, technical facilities, and the concept of ventilation, heating, and hot water supply. The goal was to create a high-quality and sustainable living environment. The surrounding buildings consist of family houses or apartment buildings with flat roofs, with a maximum height of 12 meters from the adjacent terrain. The new construction has been designed taking this into account. The building is partially basement with stepped foundation structures, comprising one underground level and three above-ground levels. It is situated on its own plot of land. The roof is a flat non-accesible roof (intended only for inspections and maintenance purposes), and the ceilings are made of monolithic reinforced concrete. The vertical load-bearing structures are made of therm-type ceramic blocks. The building insulation is implemented using an External Thermal Insulation Composite System (ETICS). Additionally, parking spaces for the residents are provided on the plot of land.

Plecháč, Vojtěch ; Sláma, Ludvík (referee) ; Mohelníková, Jitka (advisor)
The aim of the bachelor's thesis is to prepare the project documentation of a family house with a physiotherapy exercise room. The new building is situated in Horní Nové Ves, which is part of the town of Lázně Bělohrad and falls into the Jičín district. The cadastral territory of the object is Horní Nová Ves with parcel number 27/1. It is a two-story building with a partial basement. The building is divided into three parts. For the garage and physiotherapy exercise room, these parts are single storey and covered with a single skin flat roof. The residential part of the new building has two above-ground floors and is partly under the basement. Above the residential part, a structure made of lattice butted trusses is designed. The proposed building fulfills the function of permanent living and for exercising in the gym. The ground plan shape of the building is regular, the main residential part is rectangular and the wings that adjoin the residential part are also rectangular. The building is based on plain concrete foundations. The vertical load-bearing structures in the above-ground parts are made of masonry elements made of brick fittings, and the underground vertical load-bearing structures are made of concrete blocks, which are reinforced with reinforced concrete. The staircase is monolithic, with a connection to the beam and the perimeter wall. The horizontal construction system is designed from prefabricated Spiroll prestressed ceiling panels. The building is insulated with the ETICS contact insulation system.

Svobodová, Monika ; Kalánek, Jiří (referee) ; Brzoň, Roman (advisor)
The topic of master project was the processing the design documentation for a Pension Přehrada. I designed a pension with a restaurant and a small wellness area. It is a detached building in the cadastral territory of Brno Kníničky. The building is L-shaped and consists of two parts. The first part has two above-ground floors and a loft. This part of the building is covered by a gable green roof. The second part of the building has one above-ground floor and warm flat roof. The vertical structures are designed from ceramic blocks. The external masonry is insulated with the ETICS. Some external masonary are designed like exterior ventilated facade with stone cladding and a green facade. Floor structures are designed by SPIROLL panels. The master project includes the concept of heating, ventilation, cooling, domestic hot water heating, lighting, rainwater management and photovoltaic panel design. In the part of my project, I focused on optimizing the design of the gable roof. I changed the composition of the gable roof so that more rainwater would be retained to be used in the facility. I placed additional photovoltaic panels on the gable roof and simulate whether they would cover the electricity consumption in the building. I evaluated the changes in the energy performance certificate, and compared them with the original design.
