Approach adolescent to homosexuality

Annotation: This paper's thesis "Approach adolescent to homosexuality" is divided to two parts. The first part is theoretical and the second is practical. In the theoretical part I deal with the topic of homosexuality from the historical and present perspective. The goal of this part is to introduce the main problems of homosexuality. In the practical part I carry out a survey on high schools and interviews six homosexuals. The goal of the survey was to found out if the higher education on schools has influence to the opinion of adolescents on these problems. I want to point out how persons with this sexual orientation sense the attitude of society to homosexuality in the interviews with homosexuals.
(Re)construction of Normative (Hetero)sexuality of Persons Addicted on Porn Consumption

Barbora Veselá (Re)konstrukce (hetero)normativní sexuality u lidí závislých na pornu a sexu Praha, 2022 Abstract The diploma thesis is focused on the topic of (Re)construction of (hetero)normative sexuality of people addicted to porn and sex. This work, based on a discursive analysis of eight in-depth interviews, aims to answer the main research questions: What is the discoursive practice of people with experience of porn and sex addiction use to (re)construct their own subjectivity in an effort to change their behavior? Then: How do these discourses relate to the dominant gender order? What are the relationships between the individual discourses? What discursive strategies are used? The author of the diploma thesis aims to place the issue both in the global context of the critique of neoliberalism and in the local post-socialist context, as a context in which communication partners live their lives while trying to (re)constitute their subjectivity constantly. The contribution of the thesis lies in the discovery of the discursive practice that accompanies this (re)construction. Trans* Identity and Parenting in the Czech Republic

This diploma thesis deals with experiences and ideas of parenting trans*'s persons in the context of their identity. I primarily follow feminist theories and constructivist paradigm, where the research being realized through semi-structured interviews. In the theoretical part I define the basic terms and concepts on which my work is based. I focus on the conceptualization of trans* identities, on the concept of transsexuality in the Czech medical and socio-legal discourse, as well as on their limits in terms of gender perspective. Furthermore, I present the partnership and sexual relations of trans* persons, which then lead me to parenthood itself in the context of trans * identities. Finally, I deal with the coming-out process, especially with a focus on offspring. Within the analytical part I am interested in the attitude of trans* people to prevent reproductive function as the legal condition of gender transition, what reproductive ways and ways of parenting they choose, what obstacles they encounter in the context of parenthood and how they perform their parental role. Homophobia among student groups from the teacher's perspective

This bachelor thesis focuses on how school teachers perceive the issue of homophobia among student groups. The aim of this work was to explore the thoughts and impressions of homophobia in school environment from the perspective of elementary school and grammar school teachers. The theoretical part is divided into three chapters. The first chapter describes the concept of sexuality and defines its particular components and basic information about homosexuality. I especially focused on the sociological-cultural concept of sexuality and its relation to homophobia. Second chapter discusses the changes in cognitive, affective and social development during adolescence. Last chapter focuses on the subject of sexuality and homophobia in school environment and addresses the issue of homophobic harassment and bullying. In the empirical part I described my research and analyzed semi-structured interviews with elementary and grammar school teachers. Planning and Evaluation of Primary Preventive Programme Called Heterosexism and Homophobia in Elementary School

The thesis is focused on prevention of homophobic bullying that can result from homophobic and hetersosexist attitudes. It is based on action research in two peer groups in 8th grade classes. The empiric part included initial mapping of knowledge of students on various sexual and gender identities and their attitudes towards non-heterosexual people via questionnaires; development and implementation of a primary prevention programme on non-heterosexual identities, heteronormativity hompphobia and homophobic bullying; evaluation of the programme via questionnaires; and final evaluation of changes of attitudes of the target group. The theoretical part covers current knowledge on the main aspects of the research toppic (bullying, homophobic bullying at school environment and peer collectives) and the area of primary prevention of negative phonemena. It is based on concepts of homophobia, heterosexism and heteronormativity.
Homophobic harassment and bullying in the school

This bachelory work is based on area, which is mapping homophobic bullying and harassment in classes at elementary and high schools. It shows it as psychologic area, which interdisciplinary exceeds to pedagogic area. Purpose of this work, in theoretic part, is to define different approaches for homosexuality, bisexuality, and transexuality from psychologic point, and clarify different homophobic prejudices, and negative attitude from students for this problem. It focuses at demarcation of different varieties of sexual orientation, and its diversity in society with regard to gender stereotypes. It also deals with specificity of homophobic bullying and harassment as a social pathologically phenomenon, which nowadays appears often at schools. Investigative part of this work should determine students' attitude to humans with non- heterosexual orientation and their imaginations of attitude forward these minorities in their social surrounding. DV8: Male bodies in the dance for camera

This bachelor thesis is occupied with the image of man body in the screen dance ganre and focuses on a few carefully chosen movies, in which the body is invastigated as a symbol and expressive element. All the researched movies (Strange fish /1892/, Enter Achilles /1896/, Dead Dreams of Monochrome Men /1989/) were created by DV8 Physical Theatre. I am interested in the way those movies relate to the phenomenon of masculinity, how they represent it and make it an aesthetic object, how they refuse or affirm the ideas of its fulfillment. I use the feminist and gender theories to define masculinity and as my primary methodological resource. I also put the movies in the historical context of the development of dance and trace influences that enabled DV8 Physical Theatre to represent the male body the way it does.
Unmasculine Boys in School Peer Groups

My Bachelor Thesis deals with the status in a student group of boys who possess unmasculine behaviours, apperace and characteristics. I studied how pupils, both girls and boys and teachers behave towards unmasculine boys, how these boys are accepted, or not, into groups, and how boys with unmasculine characteristics experience their status in a group of pupils. Outcomes of my research are (1) groups of pupils set aside unmasculine boys because male and female pupils judge boys with unmasculine chracteristics in accord with the gender order, and also with the pupil's group norms, and (2) unmasculine boys doesn't feel happy and aren't satisfied with their status in the group of pupils. My thesis consists of two parts: firstly a theoretical part and secondly, empirical. The theoretical part provides information concerning gender issues. In the first chapter I present fundamental terms such as gender order, masculinity and femininity, and the development of a gender's identity. In the second chapter I deal with gender role violation of boys, and with the possible reactions of society as a consequence of this violation.
