(in English): Bachelor Thesis "The Massacre of Aussig in Sudeten German memory culture" describes the role the so called "Massacre of Aussig" had in the memory culture of the Sudeten Germans from Ústí region, organized arround the Aussiger Hilfsverein This developement is delimitated by the years 1945 - 1973. In this time period, the major forms of rememberance used until this day had established themselves. This description of developement of memory culture, especially the graudal of communicative memory into collective and cultural memory as well as methods of instrumentalisation and actualization of these events is based on theoretical works of Aleida Assmann, Jörn Rüsen and others.

Reflection of the Battle of Lipany in Historiography and Textbooks

The thesis The Reflection of the Battle of Lipany in Historiography and Textbooks focuses on the issue of historical consciousness, subconsciousness and the birth of tradition and the role that history taught at schools plays in this process. The author studies how history taught at schools reflects research and results of contemporary historians. She shows whether, how fast and to which extent the results enter history textbooks, often the only text that pupils, students and unfortunately also teachers access. The whole issue is demonstrated on the Battle of Lipany - the event often perceived by Czech historians as key for future development of the whole nation. In the introductory part the author discusses the question of historical consciousnesss and subconsciousness, Czech national myth and tradition. In the following chapters she shows how in different eras of Czech history the topic of the Battle of Lipany was approached by historiographers and how their results entered history textbooks. The author shows that in most periods this process was very slow, if any, the only exception being the Protectoral period and the period of the communist regime when the ideological line propagated by official historiography entered the textbooks very fast. The Media Impact on the Collective Memory

This dissertation addresses the issues of collective memory in relationship with mass media. The key concepts from both fields are included. The emphasis is put on distinction between collective memory concept and other key concepts like history or historical consciousness. Subsequently the theories presenting correlation between the media and the collective memory are introduced; a lesser empirical part is also included. The main goal of this dissertation is to connect two seemingly separated issues into one compact concept, to demonstrate possible way how media forms collective memory and to support these conclusions by results from the empirical research. FRONTIER STAGE DESIGN

Diloma thesis focuses on realisation of several projects in a straight line of
the landscape which becomes equal stage element. Author interests in czech
border region. Everything starts with idea about landscape, stage and their
common relations beyond development concept of meaning Sudety and its
history. There the author comes with her own projects, the most important one
is called Königsmühle. In this abandoned and extinct sudet village in Krusne hory
she worked on several theatrical projects. Next few projects were set up in Maria
Stock, Mayrau mines and Podboranky. In all these places we can find living
history, which is getting alive and personal observes upgrade it with their
memories. Author adds a description of some others projects and personal
experience from layover in Turkey.
