Zderadičková, Barbora ; Klenková, Jiřina (advisor) ; Kopečný, Petr (referee)
The master thesis is focused on a special pedagogical topic and observes how disrupted communication impacts on children's drawing. The thesis consists of two parts - theoretical and practical part. The first one is about the theoretical findings, which proceed from the professional literature. There are the parts here regarding communication, speech and language and the disrupted communication ability - most concentrated on a question of developmental dysphasia. The close attention has been paid to children in their younger school age, their communication abilities, their drawing ability and graphomotor activity. The practical part of this master thesis has been formed by a qualitative survey realized with children at elementary schools and their home environment. Different methods and techniques - interviews, observation, case interpretation and analysis of activity results. The main objective of this thesis is to to find out and to describe - how the disrupted communication ability of children - specifically developmental dysphasia is projected into children drawing. The corresponding demonstration has been based on a comparison between drawings of pupils with communication problems and drawings of children without any communication problems. Signature of Preschool Age Children
Medová, Julie ; Viktorová, Ida (advisor) ; Presslerová, Pavla (referee)
This bachelor thesis is focused on a research of preschool aged children's signature. It consists of a theoretical and an empirical part. In the theoretical part there is an analysis of preschool age and its characteristics from the emotional, graphomotor and sensual evolution including socialization process. Further it deals with various researches studying the topic of evolution of children's signature and preferring individual letters of their names. The basis of this work is the empirical part, whose goal is to find out the children's skills while writing the name, its special status in children's writing and reading skills, knowledge of letters and uniqueness of letters contained in their names from the beginning of their school attendance when they are not mostly able to read and write. The research is based on methods of questioning using the worksheets with tasks, semi-structured interview with chosen children and follow-up analysis of signatures. In the interviews I have been finding out answers in four categories of questions. First category of questions is directly related to own signature, whether a child manages to read his or her signature again and decode individual letters. In the second category, I focus on the development of signature and who taught the child to sign...

Montessori's Aid as a Tool to Support Graphomotorics Development of Preschool Child with Down Syndrome
KAMENICKÁ, Petra
This bachelor thesis adresses the theme The Montessori teaching aid as an instrument to support graphomotoric developement of a preschool child with Down syndrome. The theoretical part of the thesis is divided into four chapters. The first chapter focuses on individuals with Down syndrome. The second chapter deals with the developement of a preschool child and specifically with the developement of a preschool child with Down syndrome. The third chapter describes in great detail the principles of the Montessori programme. The last chapter focuses on the Montessori facilities for preschool children in the Czech republic. The main goal of the thesis was to find out in which ways can an adapted teaching aid made by the principles of Marie Montessori help develop the graphomotoric skills of preschool children with Down syndrome. The first partial goal was to find out, through interviews with teachers, which part of the Montessori material it would be suitable to elaborate on. Another partial goal was to analyse the process of the work of the children with M. Montessori´s original teaching aid for developing graphomotoric skills. The third partial goal was focused on the production of an adapted teaching aid made by the principles of M. Montessori that would improve the graphomotoric skills of children with Down syndrome. The fourth goal was to field test the aid . In agreement with the four goals, four research questions were set. To reach the estabilished goals the technique of a qualitative research was used. The methods of a semi-constructed interview with the teachers in the Montessori Children's Center, involved observation and individual work with girls with Down sydrome were used to collect the data for the practical part and finally the method of a secondary analysis of document data containing the work directions to original Montessori equipment for graphomotoric skills developement was used. The research took course from January to April 2015 in the Montessori Children's Center in České Budějovice. Two preschool girls with Down syndrome and three teachers from the Montessori centrum whom i had interviewed were in the target group. The results of my bachelor thesis are original handmade teaching aids based on the M. Montessori pedagogic principles whose aim is to help develop the graphomotoric skills of preschool children. The first aid is a pack of sixteen cards with graphomotoric elements. This aid is desined to properly fixate the shapes of graphomotoric elements and can serve as a first step in learning how to write capital letters. The second aid is desined to help develop the proper grip and is made in two modifications. These modifications differ in the type of material that the child puts into an egg box. Both aids fulfil the principles and policies of the Montessori programme. It was found out through observation that both of the handmade aids helped develop the estabilished categories mastering the pincer grip, improvement of the orientation on a surface, they contributed to the relaxation of the hand and it was possible to gain the proper ideas about the shapes of graphomotoric elements through them. The results of the experimental research show that the teaching aids were benefitial for the girls. The girls worked with the teaching aids systematically, following estabilished principles and everytime they finished the work they had started. Working with the first aid they gained an awareness about shapes of graphomotoric elements using their sight and touch. The second aid helped them to develop the proper pincer grip and to improve their tactile sensation. Both aids also helped to improve the ability of the girls to orient on a work surface.

The development of graphomotory by pre-school children
BAĎUROVÁ, Lucie
In my bachelor theses I research the development of graphomotory at the children in a preschool age. In the theoretical I have characterized the development period of the children in a preschool age. This part is mostly about the term graphomotory and terms connected to it. I have characterized possible diagnostic methods ascertaining the level of graphomotory and I have mentioned the possible disorders in the child development of the children who has problems with graphomotory. In the practical part I have tried and analyzed the diagnostic methods ascertaining the level of graphomotory. Through structured conversation I have done the casuistry of the certain children.
Development of grafomotoric skills of children in the special class established for health affected pupils and children in the normal class at elementary school.
KARLOVCOVÁ, Petra
Development of grafomotoric skills of children in the special class established for health affected pupils and children in the normal class at elementary school. Graphomotorics is the whole spectrum of psychomotorical activities which one does while writing. Professional recognition of graphomotorical defects which result from deviations in the evolution of fine motorics can be confirmed only by experienced specialists. Children with these defects must be regularly involved in fun activities such as manual works with various materials. Intensive repetition of motorics and graphomotorics lead to essential improvement of graphomotorical skills. Boys are approximately three times more affected by a specific learning defects than girls. All of the research is based on quantitative type of investigation. The foundations of research were obtained from questionnaire and anamneses of children and also from dialogue with the class teacher. The parents and teachers of 2nd and 3rd class of elementary school in the town of Vseruby were asked. Information about children from the specialized class was obtained in cooperation with an employee of Pedagogical & Psychological Institute. The observed set of children consisted of 24 children from 2nd and 21 children from 3rd class of an ordinary elementary school and also15 children from 2nd and 10 children from 3rd specialized class for affected pupils. The main objective of the theoretical part of the research was to summarize the state of the art. The main objective of the practical part of the research was the comparison of graphomotorical behavior of children attending ordinary and specialized classes. Two hypothesis were set up at the beginning of research. The results the of research were compared to these hypotheses and summarized in the conclusion.
