Firm Culture (Image of Czech Employee in German Speaking Companies)

The thesis deals with specific features of the Czech und German company{\crq}s culture. The thesis is divided into theoretical a practical part. The theoretical part is focused on comparison of cultural standards, on the style of Czech and German communication. It pursues the conventions and emphasizes possible conflicts and methods of solution. The next part introduces the analysis of programs serving the improvement of the intercultural contact und communication. The practical part contains a questionnaire, which includes 50 Czech employees of Siemens Company in the Czech Republic. The questionnaire concentrates on personal experience of the Czech employees with German business partners, on their knowledge of the intercultural contact and it compares the information concerning the cultural standards from the respective literature with the informant{\crq}s answers.
Cooperation of teams and joint leisure time of employees

The diploma thesis Cooperation of Teams and Joint Leisure Time of Employees deals with relation between frequency of involvement of individuals in cooperation of teams and their evaluation of the cooperation, information sharing and spending leisure time with colleagues. In the theoretical part, the theme is put into the broader framework of culture. The main areas affecting the problem are defined further. Emphasis is put on corporate culture, organizational climate and social relations between individuals in a company. In the empirical part of the text, the research question is described, the main hypothesis is set, the operational hypotheses are derived, the operationalization is performed, and the company and its teams that are subject of the research are presented. Subsequently, all processes and their relation being subject of the research are theoretically anchored and described based on the data analysis. In the concluding part of the text, there is an overview of mutual sympathy, ties and antipathy of members of the studied teams as well as it is found out to what extent the data analysis confirms the hypotheses determined. Firm culture and its influence on motivation of firm's workers.

Bc. Jiří Zika Abstract The Diploma Thesis deals with the subject of firm culture and its influence on the motivation. It is focused especially on the analysis of firm culture and on the influence of firm culture on motivation. In this time is firm culture relatively well established field, and so this work is trying to point out the major approaches of firm culture. It analyses the known theories of motivation and then it deals with the links of firm culture and motivation. The influence of firm culture on motivation of workers working on business license is examined in the company, which deals with selling of real estates. This influence is being described especially by the influence of the elements of firm culture on the complete motivation and on different aspects of motivation as well. This work in its final form brings the reader an integrated view on firm culture, motivation and their interrelationship. It is focused especially on the influence of firm culture on motivation. The results of this work bring the information, that even under the conditions which are not favourable for firm culture it is possible to work relatively well on firm culture and its enforcement across the firm. This thesis sets out to address current issues of corporate culture in a construction company. The aim is to define the questions related to corporate culture and then use research to answer them. In the theoretical part of the thesis, the basic concepts are described and in the following empirical part, the actual research is conducted in the individual construction companies.
Current trends of the firm culture in construction company

This diploma thesis provides an overview of current trends in firm culture of companies and their context. The theoretical part specifies the field of civil engineering, defines the concept of corporate culture and enriches it with existing approaches to management and determination of the form of corporate culture. The empirical part includes research that identifies changes in corporate culture related to the Y, Z generations on the labor market, and to what extent they meet the requirements of the corporate environment. The result of the thesis is evaluation, SWOT analysis of "millennials" and proposals for solutions.
Comunication and the firm culture in construction company work

The bachelor’s thesis focuses on communication and corporate culture in the construction company. In the theoretical part, there are specified basic concepts of communication and corporate culture. The practical part is based on research hypotheses, on the basis of which a questionnaire was created. It analyses the actual situation of communication and corporate culture in the construction company and it verify the hypothesis. To expand research was used controlled interviews were conducted with selected employees in the company. The final part occurs the analyzed data and the resulting recommendations to improve the situation in company.

The subject of this thesis is the empirical-theoretical analysis of socio-cultural impact of cultural elements represented by trademarks and brands from the perspective of specific cultural complex. Combination of mentioned cultural elements is examined as participating in creation of relevant symbolic base for human communication in current globalized society having capacity to influence not only consumer decision making process but also general values and cultural patterns. Persuasiveness of this cultural complex is based on the particular cultural environment adapting permanently to its evolution. Brands and trademarks in this form are retrospectively affecting the social environment. High level of efficiency and speed of such processes are currently accelerated by technological development of communication tools supporting acculturation and globalization aspects. Although described processes and relationships are generated primarily in the sphere of consumer decision-making, their real impact on the social groups is significant being relevant element of shaping general social paradigm. Motovation and the firm culture in construction company

My bachelor’s thesis deals with motivation and firm culture in the construction company. In the theoretical part, there are specified basic concepts of building industry, motivation and firm culture. The practical part is based on the questionnaire. It analyses the actual situation of motivation and firm culture in the construction company and it verify the hypothesis. Then, two employees express their opinions on results of the questionnaire in the interviews. The results are evaluated in the final part and there are some recommendations for improvement of motivation and firm culture in the construction company.
