Progress of anti-flooding measures in Český Krumlov, funding of these measures, effects and results of anti-flooding measures.

In my bachelor thesis called "The evaluation of flood control measures in the town of Český Krumlov, the financing of these measures and the consequences of their implementation." I deal with the evaluation of flood control measures and their effectiveness and sufficiency in the town of Český Krumlov. During the history the town and its inhabitants have faced the devastating effects of various floods and therefore on of the town main interest is the focus on protection against the floods. In my bachelor thesis I therefore tried to evaluate the effectiveness of flood control measures carried out in the town Český Krumlov. In the theoretical part of my work I describe the general aspects of floods. I explain and further characterize the term floods and its different types. Parts of it are also factors that contribute to the rise and course of floods and the impact of habited on its formation. An important part of my work is the characterization of main floods that occurred in the Czech republic between the years 1997 and 2013 on the bases of which the improvement of flood control measures took place. I also focus on the damages caused by the floods that we are able to divide between quantifiable and inquantifiable. The theoretical part also consists of the actual protection against floods. The Czech republic under the terms of this protection made a document called "Strategy of protection against floods in the Czech republic." The protection against floods also represent flood commissions and planning that I mention in my work as well. In the following part I describe different parts of flood control measures. Due to the high coats of the flood control measures, in the last part of my work, I describe the financial sources used in the forms of grants from the programs of the EU as well as the Czech state. In the research part of my work I describe the methodies of my work. My research question is: Are the flood control measures in Český Krumlov sufficient? The goals of my work are: To determine the financial security of the flood control measures in the town of Český Krumlov and to evaluate and determine effects and consequences of the flood control measures for the habitants of Český Krumlov. In order to complete my bachelor thesis I used professional literature related to the topic as well as the information available from the world wide web, current valid legislation and consultations with a local citizen of Český Krumlov. In the characteristics of the town of Český Krumlov I described its location, administrative definition and the main watercourses of the river Vltava and the stream Polečnice. I described the flood control measures implemented in the town of Český Krumlov since 2002 in the chapter called "results". These measures were divided by the project into 5 phases and included: dredging of the channel of the river Vltava and its bank reinforcement, reconstruction of the weir Jelení lávka, mobile barriers, raising the embankment wall, individual adjustments to the existing buildings, expanding channel, excavation of silt and modification to utility lines. The implementation of the works is described in each individual chapter. Furthermore I describe the reasons that led to the termination of works on the flood control measures based on the petition of the local citizens. I also mention the report of the ministry of the environment regarding the 2013 flood and its effectiveness. At the end of this chapter I characterize the financial resources that were used by the projects implementation of the flood control measures. In the part "discussion" based on results I evaluate the realization of the financial securities of the flood control measures in the town of Český Krumlov. Furthermore I do the same, but this time based on testimonies of citizens of Český Krumlov and the report by the ministry of the environment. In conclusion I describe all the findings from my work.

The bachelor´s thesis deals with the issue of management and finance territorial autonomy units and the evaluation of the municipality management in Čejč. The first part of the work is focused on teoretical resoures of the community, budgetary system and the budget of the municipality. The second part deals with basic charakteristic municipality Čejč and analytics her managament. In the third part there are distcribed ideas for the economy improvements of situation and oppotrunities, where the municipality could obtain grants for further development.

The Development of the Price Level in Railway Building

This diploma thesis is describing the theme of price development of construction work on the railway superstructure. The result is meant as determination of technical-economic indicator which can be used in view of pricing mainly for public tenders as well as in the way of orientation at cost prices. The work is also engaged in production index for construction. The main meaning of this part is formed by comparing the dates of the Czech Statistical Office in the production of building and civil engineering in the Czech Republic between years of 2009 and 2015 with the production of railways constructions. As the railroad tracks are in corporate governance SŽDC state organization – whole planned construction works are controlled by conditions and rules of public tenders. After joining the Czech Republic into the European Union the requirements for optimal state of international transportation networks in their technical and social part had to be guaranteed. The thesis „The Development of the Price Level in Railway Deliveries“ includes topic of progressing of Czech economy, development of Czech and foreign markets and its influence on material deliveries and price fluctuations, pricing and costing. Because of main topic contains railway economy production there are given basic technical and technological information with application for Brno subregion.

Determination of Economic Efficiency of the Development Project

The work deals with the determination of cash flows and evaluating the economic efficiency of a development project for the construction of residential buildings. The theoretical part explains the concepts of economic efficiency and putting their indicators, describes the business plan development activities and cash flows. The thesis also addressed the possibility of financing investment projects, as well as an analysis of the current situation of the Czech economy. In the practical part of the description is made of the entire completed project, determining the cash flows of the project and its subsequent evaluation and assessment of economic efficiency.

The topic of the thesis is Proposal of Business Expansion - Building-up of Packaging Unit. The proposal is based on the analysis of the current production capacity and production equipment, and on the analysis of money management and ascertained shortcomings. On the basis of the carried out analysis a proposal for building-up of a new production unit and a recommendation on purchase of new machine equipment has been made. A calculation of investment costs is a part of the proposal.

In my Diploma work there are evaluated possibilities of non-profit-making organization`s developement on a case study of Salesian seminary {--} Youth centre in Ceske Budejovice. To reach the goal, there were analysed following aspects: history and nowadays conditions of organisation, analysis of contemporary developement and also the quality of service performation. Another analysis evaluated human resource management and improoving of performing service, the maintenance of contemporary financing and fundraising. Salesian seminary should concentrate on increasing of both human resource management quality and enhancement of work organisation. With anticipated increasing number of employees there should be woked on quality service increasing to satisfaction and higher attractivity of all hobby groups, actions and summer camps. Another important aspect is the maintenance of contemporary financing and fundraising by successful receiving of European Union structure grants. Salesian seminary has already started with some parts of transformation process. Hopefully all plans are going to be realised successfully. Last few years are in the name of organisation`s developement and others suggested revisions are going to be realised in following period. That is the right way how to increase the quality of performed sevices.

This thesis is focused on the development of a business plan, which describes all of the essential internal and external factors related to the establishment of a new company. The business plan includes a questionnaire used in conducting a preliminary marketing survey, focused on potential customers and their requirements, in terms of the services sought after in the given field of business. This thesis should serve as an instruction manual for the establishment and management of the small company of Miroslav Malý, who is planning to start a business in website creation, web-design, and related services.
