Building Order in the Building Company Organization

The objective of this bachelor thesis is to describe the organisation of an order in a construction company through a specific order example. Thus, this thesis shows the order in its key parts and describes the individual stages of the order organisation in the company. The theoretical part of the thesis is focused on the actual project management problems. It describes the objectives and plans of a construction company, the background circumstances related to the project organisation, to its stages and aims. The chapters focused on the organisational structures of the company and on the stages of the contract management can be found at the end of the theoretical part of this thesis. The second part of this thesis is practical and it deals with the application of the project management in the company Skanska a. s., in particular, with the stages that describe the process of the order passing through the company.
Project Evaluation and Design of Project Management Methodology

The diploma thesis focuses on project management – managing of software development activities. It explains a basic terms of given issue and it also deals with advantages and disadvantages of some known practices and methods which are often followed when developing software. The practical part includes an analysis and evaluation of concrete project. This project is then the base for designing an optimization of software development methodology. Designed optimization will be able to help manage similar projects in future.
Software Support for Project Definition with Using of Logical Frame Method

The purpose of this work is to design and implement software support for Project Definition of LFM (Logical Frame Method). The first part is about project management and about necessity to use it for solving projects. There is description of phases of project and detailed description of logical frame method. In the second part there is system requirements analysis, description of the application via UML and implementation of application which was created in development environment Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 in C# language. There is a short summary, possible extensions and comparing with existing applications in the end of the work.
Economic and Financial Evaluation of the Development Project

The work deals with the evaluation of economic effectiveness and financial feasibility of the real development project. The theoretical part is devoted to the characteristic of term of investment, describes its types and strategies, types of investment project and thein financing options. Then there are defined phases of an investment process and there are described the methods of an economic and financial evaluation of investment projects. In the practical part there is made the characteristic of project and its evaluation. It is structured into two parts. In the first part there is reviewed the real situation of financing and in the second part there is evaluated a variant with a measure for financing of the project. The project is evaluated at the end.

The aim of this work is to acquaint the reader with the basic principles of pro-ject management, evaluate project management in a selected company and fi-nally propose some possible changes. In the first part the thesis tries to explain what project management and the role of project manager is. It also describes the project management life cycle and the processes that should be set up and followed. It also describes the basic principles of project management. And its funding. The practical part describes the project management system in the organiza-tion. It acquaints business corporations with the style of project management, who participates in the project and, last but not least, how much the project costs. In the next part is carried out internal research of the company. Where there are suggestions for improving project management.

The theoretical part describes important definitions and knowledge, which are then used to create a practical part. It deals with the preparation and management of a specific construction contract called "Reconstruction of the sports hall Otrokovice" with the help of methods and procedures that the issue offers.

The bachelor thesis is devoted to managing the construction project and the thesis is divided into two parts – theoretical and practical. The theoretical part briefly explains project management, project, phases of the project and necessary documentation and legislation. The practical part is focused on territorial and structural management in the construction contract. The aim of this work is to analyze the problems of structural management in a particular construction project. The outcome of my thesis is processing of the methodology for territorial management.
