Cutting of measuring hard-metal triple contacts by ED technology
Smital, Pavel ; Kalivoda, Milan (referee) ; Dvořák, Jaromír (advisor)
This work deals with unconventional machining methods focused primarily on the wire EDM cutting. The introduction describes the basic principles and essence of electrical discharge machining. The practical part is focused on solving the current problem - reducing scrap of measuring triple contacts in the production company Kovo Jančo.
Technology of wire electrical discharge machining
Brázda, Radim ; Krkavec, Martin (referee) ; Osička, Karel (advisor)
This master´s thesis deals with unconventional technology of wire electrical discharge machining. There are described the principles and essence of electrical discharge machining and the principles related to wire electrical discharge machining with emphasis on the application of this technology in terms of medium-sized engineering company. There is also described the complete assembly of technolgy wire cutting and machining on wire cutter Excetek V 650. Then in the work there are statistically evaluated parameters precision machined surfaces, specifically to the belt pulley 116-8M-130. At the end of the work there is the technical-economic evaluation that addresses the hourly cost of machining on wire cutter Excetek V 650.
Trend development of machine tools
Šenkýř, Pavel ; Prokop, Jaroslav (referee) ; Osička, Karel (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with trends of the development of machine tools, and focuses on technologies and machine tools for manufacturing of pressing dies and on manufacturing of cavity of moulds. First, the existing state in the field of these technologies is described and defined, and subsequently, the dissertation concentrates on modern conceptions of this manufacturing.
Wire Electrical Discharge Machining
Barabáš, Martin ; Osička, Karel (referee) ; Sámelová, Vendula (advisor)
The work deals with the technology of electrical discharge wire cutting. The first chapter describes the principle of EDM machining with the basic description of the methods using this machining technology. The main part is concentrated on describing electric discharge wire cutting principle, used wire electrodes, the main parts of the machine, cutting conditions and benefits of this technology. The last chapter describes current trends in wire cutting, news from producers of wire cutters and possibilities of this technology.
Wire electrical discharge machining at production of tools for working of wood
Sedláček, Jiří ; Prokop, Jaroslav (referee) ; Osička, Karel (advisor)
My thesis is aimed at the application of wire electical discharge machining technology in the production of woodworking tools. All of this in the conditions of Vydona company. There is a theory of machining method plus a well-aranged division of cutter tools for wood in the introduction. The practical part describes in detail the procedur of cutting shaped plate out of tungsten carbide. As a result of the technical and at the same time the economic evaluation is an establishment of hourly rate for machine.
Automatization of work place with electrical discharge machines
Gašpar, Daniel ; Kubík, Roman (referee) ; Zemčík, Oskar (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is the analysis of the current state in the workplace EDM and suggestion of the automation workplace in tool making "KASKO forms" including techno-economic assessment of the current and suggested solutions on the selected product and quantification of payback period.
Use of unconventional technologies in the production of a selected component
Havlínová, Denisa ; Kalivoda, Milan (referee) ; Dvořáková, Jana (advisor)
The biggest challenge during manufacturing copper part with microslit for optical spectrometer by the means of unconventional technologies was to meet specified narrow range of tolerances and reach right angles at the microslit corners. Electrical discharge machining and laser beam machining were two practically performed methos and both successfully met these tolerances. After consultation is focused ion beam also considered as suitable method for this task, while for photochemical machining is impossible to meet those narrow tolerances. Right angles were not achieved by any of tested methods. At laser cutting edges were proven defects (burrs, molten material), while we saw no negative defects on electrical discharge workpiece surface. Even after optimalization of EDM was machining time longer and there is assumed higher other production cost (tool manufacturing for every single workpiece), but still EDM seems to be more advantageous from financial and surface quality aspect. Based on theoretical research and practical manufacturing is recommend to manufacture specified component with microslit by EDM.
Trends in use of non-conventional technology for electrical discharge machining.
Mouralová, Kateřina ; Prokop, Jaroslav (referee) ; Osička, Karel (advisor)
The aim of this dissertation are future trends of electrical discharge machining in conditions of a small tool factory. In the introduction is presented the theory of non-conventional machining. The practical part is focused on valuation the current level of electrical discharge machining, the importance of the use in a tool Nástrojárna Ryšavý. It also compares the level of leading global manufacturers of electrical discharge machines and future trends of electro-discharge technology.
Electroerosive sinking of technical ceramics
Kudrna, Tomáš ; Mouralová, Kateřina (referee) ; Osička, Karel (advisor)
The master’s thesis deals with the topic of electrical discharge machining. The first part of the thesis contains a study of the die-sinking EDM. The die-sinking EDM of the silicon carbide ceramic is realized in the experimental part of the thesis. The result of this work was to explore the influence of the EDM sinking parameters, specifically pulse current, open-voltage and pulse on-time, on the machined surface. Furthermore, the analysis of the tool electrode was made. This analysis was focused on the wear in the corners, which has key influence on accuracy of the machining. The machining time was also examined.
Production of an Injection Mold.
Jílek, Bohumil ; Polzer, Aleš (referee) ; Píška, Miroslav (advisor)
This thesis is focused on a production of injection molds. It contains some analyses of the various parts of the injection molds, a description of their functions and the possibility of structural design. A summary of existing technologies for the production of these molds, their advantages and disadvantages is included. This thesis deals with design of the component parts for injection of plastics, strategy of machining and a simulation of machining.
